Was overcharged for additional days eight days after returning truck. Trying to reach customer service was beyond frustrating. Contacted store that truck was returned to and was told that they couldn't do anything and gave me the number to corporate which I had already called with a wait time of one hour. Store employee called back and stated that they knew it was a mistake and would fix it. Hopefully she is correct and it will be fixed. So disappointing and ridiculously frustrating.Kristin K.

Windshield and inside of the truck really need a good cleaning. Really strong flavored cigar smell in the truck, that was being attempted to be masked by a Little trees cherry scented air freshner.It made me nauseous and gave me a headache. Only by rolling both windows half way down was I able to finish what I needed to do and return the truck. I think the fuel gauge did not read accurately, as io bring it back where it should when Started, took 4 gal. for a 10 mile in town trip with no idle time. If it was accurate, 2.5 mpg is not acceptable, and that truck nÃ©eds some attentionRandell B.

There was a check engine light on in the rental truck. There was slime and dirty in the cab. The slime was in the cup holder and the floors were very dirty. I didn't expect absolute clean but this just let me know that no one even attempted to clean in our current world situation. I shouldn't be worried about that. The pick up location didn't allow children under 21 in the facility. I could not log in to pick up my rental through the app. If I went in after hours, I would have been out of luck. I was able to drop off my rental through the app though.Johnny J.

The location and staff was fine. The equipment was HORRIBLE. it sounded like the manifold was disconnected, I had to drive with all the windows down through the rain in order not to get exhaust fume poisoning, and it had a death wobble at 65 MPH. When I mentioned the exhaust to the lady at the counter before taking the equipment she stated u-haul wouldn't fix it. I got pulled over 2x by police about the issue only to delay my move more.Clifton S.
The owner of this location is rude! My relatives from out of state had to interact with this lady, and they literally asked me how she has a business when she is so rude to her customers. Just like above I was shifted around yet again but this time was not as far. Still my reservation was for a location right down the street for pickup and right down the street for drop off and was made several weeks in advance. Management needs to get up off there office chairs and manage truck locations by reservation order before you loose even more customers. We reserved a pickup truck for 7am. We got there and went to check in online, and it said it had to be a hand delivery at 8am. Once the store opened, they told us it was a computer issue..so we get the truck finally at 830, and there are ants in the floor biting my feet. It was very dirty. When I went to take it back, the girl (who was new) did not know how to check me out and said he manager would have to do when he got there and he would "adjust my time"..I have no clue what my total to be billed even is. I had multiple problems with uhaul cooperate, was treated very rudely more than once. The whole process of renting a truck was very confusing, my pick up location kept changing. When I called one of those locations, Hope Janitorial in Cullman AL, I was treated very poorly, yelled at, talked over, and told to take my business elsewhere by the the company owner. Finally had to reach out to the area rep. He was ok, but didn't call me back like he said, I had to reach out to him. I had no idea if I would have a truck or the equipment I rented until I showed up to pick it up. After returning the equipment, I was emailed a receipt with a total. But no explanation as to what the extra charges were. I also think that the company needs to check the definition of â€œreservationâ€ as it appears uhaul doesn't actually â€œreserveâ€ trucks. This was a very stressful experience. I promise, I will NEVER rent from uhaul again and I will tell all I know how terrible this company is.Christy S.

Well you want to know what you guys can do to prove things I called and reserved a truck a week before I was going to pick it up I reserved it at the Cleveland Alabama location for Saturday February 6th 2021 and on the morning February 6th 2021 I get a call from The Good Hope location telling me my reservations were ready for me that's an hour away from where I was going to move from so I get to that location I'm a cantrip me a truck so I had to go hunt down a location and I ended up have to pick up a 17 foot truck when I wanted to 15 foot I had to drive an empty truck and our back to the house that I was going to move from and then what I've called U-Haul all I have ever gotten its people that don't know well I'm sorry I don't know what to do all I ever get from him when I call him up with this problem yes they did give me a $50 voucher for it after I fought with him for over an hour on the phone but that doesn't make up for the gas the mileage and I had to put on this truck my gas in my car to go find this truck when I could have went five minutes down the road from my house where I read reserved the truck at but I had to threaten the lady on the phone with putting it on social media and Facebook just to get her to do something about the problem that was going on so if you would like to call me and discuss this my phone number is 205-200-4840 and my name is Carol Porter I was excited about the location the lady and there was a sweetheart she had clean truck's and everything else but as far as dealing with U-Haul itself most horriblest Horrible's move I've ever made in my life all thanks to U-HaulCarrol P.

The marker lights on the wheel covers was out. We didn't see it until it was dark and I was several states away. They was the only lights I could see in the trailer while driving so I had to pull into a busy truck stop. Thankfully my boyfriend was able to fix them but had I been alone I would have had to spend the night at this truck stop because it would not have been safe to continue to drive it.Wendy M.

The lady who checked us in got very upset when my husband told her there wasn't any blankets or dolly in the truck. She said it wasn't a big deal but we wanted it noted they weren't in there. She didn't even know they weren't in there and we didn't want to be charged when we brought it back. He asked for her to write something down and when he walked back out she asked very angrily if he was always hard to deal with. I do not plan on ever using that location again.ANDREA H.
The guy insisted they didn't do pickups after 3:30 and it took him almost ten minutes of arguing with me that he didn't know what he was doing before he would finally call someone to walk him through it. Was told he didn't know how to check out the dollies so i couldn't have one. The truck cab was full of dirt and dust and smelled like cat urine.
