I have no recommendations - it was all easy as can be. The young lady at the Cullman AL location (South Park) was terrific. She was on the ball, as we say. I wish I could remember her name, but she was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

In the future if someone requests and gets charged for dolly/handtruck be sure that one is in the truck. I got charged for a set and it was not in there!
DAWN RWhen renting, I advised I would be picking up furniture in Tuscaloosa and dropping it off in Parrish. Originally, I was going to bring the truck back to Cullman where I rented it. But it would be more convienent to drop it off in Jasper , and I thought, cheaper, less miles. I even asked the young lady if I didn't use the miles I estimated if I would get a refund and she said yes. My original estimation was 204 miles, I drove from pick up to drop off 156.3 miles. And I filled the tank up they have it at 3/4. That's a difference of 47.7 miles. When I dropped it off, the man at Secondhand Sam's told me I would not get a refund, I thought that was wrong, but I called today and was told I would not,. Be careful if you rent from Uhaul, underestimate your miles, just to be on the safe side. I truly feel like they ripped me off.
Denise MThe trailer sat on the ground without a tongue jack and wasn't well balanced. I strained my back trying to get it on my hitch. The young lady who worked there came out and assisted at my request. Together, we still couldn't lift it high enough. Then, she recalled that she had a tongue jack which helped get it high enough to make the final lift necessary to get it on the ball. Having shared that, my back is still tender, and I was unhappy that U-Haul would reasonably expect a normal individual to lift that weight without personal or mechanical assistance.
Gary BI wasn’t aware that I had to download an app in order to return the equipment. It wasn’t mentioned. It took us 30 minutes to download the app, obtain a code for entry, fill out the app, then leave. The app was easy to understand I just would’ve liked to know ahead of time. The terminology that was used was “you MIGHT want to use the app for your return to be faster”. I needed “you NEED to download the app and have it ready”. Maybe more helpful, direct signage on site would be beneficial.
