My problem was with the 24/7 truck share. When I tried to pick up the moving truck, the U-Haul website said my order had been changed to hand checkout and I would have to wait until the store opened. I had been dropped off, so I waited. One of the people who was helping me load the truck had to leave before I got back, so now I had to do twice the work. In addition, I attempted to use the truck share option to try to limit my exposure to covid-19, well that was out the window. I understand issues come up, but a few days notice would have been nice. I purchased a one-way trip for pick-up Saturday at 11am and I was scheduled for drop off on Monday at 11am. I dropped the vehicle off on Sunday evening by self check-in on Sunday at 830pm. On Monday, I found that I was charged $6.97 for an additional days of tax, $40.00 for the extra day, plus another $14.00 for the coverage I purchased for the original two days. I talked to the workers at the drop location and they believed the vehicle was checked in by their staff after 11am on Monday, which is why I was charged the additional day. They called and stated I would be refunded. I received this email with my statement and opportunity to give a review an hour or so later. I believe this is going to be rectified and if so I am willing to change my review.Josiah F.

Tried to get a car dolly before and when I showed up the wheels were stolen. It was hard to get help in the ace. Then they told me uhaul would call me and get another one and I had to call and uhaul had no record of this. This time when I rented it as I drove away (literally 5 ft) the tail light fell off the dolly. The employee was still there and I stopped and showed him (even though he already saw and did nothing). He pushed it in and told me I should get tape. I drove another 4 ft and it popped out again so i just disconnected the light and drove illegally because they did not offer to give me the other dolly they had. They didnt even offer to give me the tape.Cade S.

On returning the vehicle after just 3 hours use I was obviously gouged for gas. I put exactly 30 miles on the 15' truck, and was forced to pay for 5 gallons. It never had more than a 300 pound dining room set inside (and only 1 person) and that was for a short distance move of only 4 miles. It was unloaded and at approx. 50 mph highway speeds for 26 of the 30 miles. It was obviously gouging and a clear rip off. These newer 15' trucks get more than 6 miles per gallon on the highway.william T.

I had so many issues with getting this truck. From them calling me 2 days before and telling me I couldnt get the size I needed, then finally finding it at another location, just to go in and they hadn't added the extra milage I was promised. The clerk was very slow in helping me and it was move day so obviously I was stressed and trying to hurry. Although everything was resolved in the end, i dont know that i will choose uhaul again.Fallon S.
Previous visits were good. The last visit was not however. The computers were down, staff were not familiar with the issues, etc. I was an hour late to an appt. that said, computers have issues, it was my turn in the barrel. The staff were professional and apologetic.Charles J.

I would give it five stars but a big drawback is that they don't have enough equipment when you need it. I had to wait a month for a 6 X 12 trailer to show up. They don't seem to be able to get the equipment I need unless it just happens to come in. The people that work there, however, are definitely 5-star people. They are great!steve T.

Horrible service, charged my card for not one vehicle but 2 when only needed one. Lied about how many cents per mile, lied about the 26' truck being small enough to fit 77"x 80" just to ring me up for the biggest uhaul they have just for work out equipment that was broken down a little... couldn't get his story straight after being questioned.
