It was a rough beginning with Wllingdon, as I was advised to call them ahead to confirm they would be open. First call , I left a message - no return call. Second call , a gentleman answered & when I told him I just wanted to return a uhaul , he cut me off & said call back in 10 min & hung up on me. In returning the truck, there was no one to speak with or drop off the truck to. I called again & a lovely, personable young lady answered & was very helpful. Being new to the area, it was a wonderful learning experience. Uhaul traffic was outstanding in their service delivery & support throughout my uhaul experiences. Again a big, big thank you to Eric from Cochrane uhaul - he was a calming, knowledgeable figure as I tried to navigate the uhaul system. Overall an outstanding Uhaul experience.

The property was supposed to have an attendant which was not at work. The property not clear of snow no proper signage essentially left the trailer in the middle of the road and left as I was told to do by the uhaul call center. Very in professional all the way around.

Make sure every detail of the rental is correct and is withought a doubt triple checked with every department. Also don't start a conversation with a customer about having to pay more money after already paying so much for all the fuck ups thanks never using u haul .

Really bad experience right from the get go! First the website was totally misleading, it said my rental was in one location when in fact it was a 1-1/2 hr drive one way to pick up. It was completely filthy inside and I had to wash the outside because it was caked in mud! The website only allowed a 14 day rental which I needed it for 15. I booked it for the 14 and when someone called to confirm, they said they rent for more than 1 day! That happened 3 times. Shall I go on!!!!!!!

First of all I would like to say that when I called customer service last Tuesday night and spent over 10 minutes explaining all my concerns including the trailer blowing my truck fuses I was transferred to roadside assistance even though I did not request such. When I asked to be transferred to customer service they told me I could not. So when I call customer service again there was not record in my rental file of the 10 minute conversation I had. I am still waiting a call back so maybe giving a bad review will help So lets start at the beginning. I called into U Haul last Monday Nov 9th and talked to Britney to setup my trailer rental for the next day. That went well but even though I told her that on the U-Haul website page for the Willingdon location the feedback stated the address was incorrect she told me it was correct but she was unable to find me a phone number for that location. When I received the rental confirmation via email I was still not sure about the address so I responded to the email and asked for someone to confirm the address. Jennifer from customer service emailed me back and stated the address was correct. I then emailed her back within 10 minutes and told her again that the address is incorrect as per the feed back on the website and that I also need a phone number for the location so I can confirm the address. She never emailed me back. I then emailed her last night to explain how bad the rental went and that the listed address is incorrect and that it tool me an hour to find the proper address but I have also not received a reply. So now I show up in Willingdon last Tuesday to pick up the trailer. I see where a bunch of broken down and taken apart U-Haul trucks are but there is no business there at all. I go to the published location and that address does not exist and there is no business sign in town for the company name listing online plus there is no phone number. I went to the only grocery store in town but the owner could not speak English and nobody on the street knew the business. I finally went to the post office and they were able to point me to the proper house but all this took over an hour. I then went to the house as instructed by the post office lady. The man knew nothing about my rental and stated they just got in the trailer I was asking about. I then had to wait while he called an U-haul location in Edmonton to figure out the rental. We then went to get the trailer which was dirty inside including having broken glass. Because the guy in Willingdon had no paper work I talked to the Edmonton agent to finalize the booking. When I questioned why I had to take the insurance which I never agreed to he told me that I would not be able to rent the trailer then as he had no way of getting me the waiver form to sign. Now that 1.5 hours has passed since arriving in Willingdon I now head to my destination. After driving for 15 minutes my clearance and dash lights go out on my Tahoe as I hear the f

First off the address to the drop off location is wrong. We drove around town for a half an hour trying to find it and the number to call wasn't even in service.. And I was suppose to get my $100 deposit back once dropped off and the man there told me he doesn't do the deposits .. That I had to go to Edmonton or red deer where I rented it from. And he also told me he called the Edmonton office and they said to that I can pick it back up in red deer..

I would recommend this drop off location, however U HAUL needs to correct the address. The given address is a residential area, someones house. I had the RCMP show up due to a U HAUL circling the block in the dark multiple times. The RCMP officer then escorted me to the proper location when I explained to her the situation. This is not the first instance of this as I found another review online of a person having the same issue. I have told U HAUL that they need to correct this. Hopefully this happens.

Think I was given a run around . You should know who your agents are and where they are at. There was no one at the Willingdon agency. So I dropped the trailer and left.

It held me to wait for an hour from 8am to 9am. The boss was not there and didn't make the rental process clearly to his colleague. And his colleague kept me waiting till 9 am. I was supposed to pick up my truck at 8 O'CLOCK!

Hotel did not have the blankets nor dolly in ordered. SImple answer was "sorry we don't carry those". So why allow me to book them in the reservation?..and of course I've been charged for them and now need to chase you for a refund.

Two weeks ago, I have booked a 14 truck and the person in charge told me that somebody will give me a call for the schedule but I have not received any call. But, unfortunately, I had to go back here for the 17" because the 14" truck I booked and about to pick up at Anamaan supermarket at mccowan & nugget ave. did not come and I waited until 2PM for a call but never happened. My only choice was to take the 17" truck available in this branch. However, the person in charge again got my credit card number and CP number wrong so he has to call me again.

This location needs to provide customers with a printed contract upon pickup. Photocopying a driver's license and credit card is a security issue which could result in a customer's identity being stolen. I contacted this location after returning the vehicle and asked to speak to a person in charge of U-Haul transactions but that person was unavailable. I then asked that the photocopy of my personal information be destroyed which I was told it would be. Otherwise, on the day of pickup, the store clerk was very courteous.

I returned my truck at 10.30pm on Monday but the order was not closed until 12.38pm the following day. I got a text on Tuesday morning saying that my rental was overdue. It would not have been good, if anything had happened to the truck because I would have been responsible for it.

Great thinking Uhaul. Moving to this local smaller format was a great move. Closer to phone. The check in/out process, well thought out and smooth. Vs the big locations but far from home. Bravo!

At first I had to wait for nearly 3 hours because there was no vehicle available although I received and email confirming pick-up date and time. Then I was sent to the pick-up location on Steeles Ave which was better than the first one but still below average service. All in all, a disappointing experience and I wouldn't recommend u-haul to anyone.

I called few times before picking up my rental to confirm if they had the van, i kept getting different answers each time i called. Than When i got there, i told them i dont want insurance but the person said Uhaul has this new policy which require everyone to buy insurance! False information was given but since we needed the van we had no choice but to get it. Will never go back to this location again!

The agent needs to be more knowledgeable with U-Haul's procedures and computer software. When speaking to U-Haul for with questions concerning the client/customer should be spoken in English. The customer should be aware what is going on. Besides it's down right rude.

When I finally did get my truck at this location (when I went to my original "guaranteed reservation" location there was no truck!) they had no record of me coming! So the rate I was quoted on line was totally different. The head office rep (Hayle) actually hung up on me when I told him I could not make it to this new location on time (by 9pm).I asked him what a reservation guarantee meant? Poor Poor Poor customer service! Hanging up on a customer? If I ever did that in my business I wouldn't have a business. After much standing around and 4-5 phonecalls to U-haul head office we got it all cleared up & i got the $50 discount (resevation guarantee), Everton from head office was great & fixed the entire mess.

I Booked a 14 foot truck and when I went to pick up, they said they do not even have that size of truck, rather I got a Ciube van on which I had to make three trips instead of one. Then when returned the vehicle after 4 hours advised me that the computer is not working and they will email me the invoice, so I received the invoice today which has been much overcharged and the mileage does not even match or go near the actual mileage, there is absolutely no professionalism in the people given the Uhaul facility, It was a nightmare dealing with them.This was a Beckers Milk Brimley.Overcharged my credit card I booked 14foot truck with another U haul location on 30 Nov 2009 and when went there advised advised no truck available and I have to cancel the delivery and when I asked the name of the individual so that I could record on my sheet, he gets angry and Uhaul can not do anything. This was a Daisy Mart Location on Finch ave E/Tapscot, Scarborough I had a very bad experiences on both these location, I have no idea what

Poor Organization. No customer service sense. The employee asked me where the store copy was kept. I filled more petrol than I should, no credit given. Just pathetic service. Definitely on my "Not to go again and not to recommend" list.

It was a very good experience at this location. Van was clean and new. Customer service was very, very good. We had a very bad experience at the Warden/Ellesmere location about 7 years ago. Very, very bad customer service. Maybe Uhaul is changing for the better now. Vinh

Ensure that computer systems are functional at the agent location. In my case, they were not and I was unable to obtain a receipt at the time of rental. Instead, the agent e-mailed the receipt to me.

I had very bad experience with UHAUL. UHAUL sucked !!I made the reservation on line and called the this store where I would pick up the cargo van the day before, I told the guy I booked on line and wanted to confirm with him if they had processed the reservation. The guy said no problem just come and pick up the van by the time. However the turnout is terrible. I went there and gave the printout of my reservation to the man, he looked unhappy and said their system is down, he couldn't check in the system. He was then on the phone for a few minutes and then told me his boss couldn't find my reservation in the system and the reservation had to be re-done. while he was on the phone he told me my name did not match with the system (my god!! he just told me my reservation was not in the system!!)He asked for my extra credit card and phone number. I was very upset. what the hell is the online service there for if it is not working at all!!!The worse is still to come. I said I did not include an insurance when i booked on line. And he phoned his boss and said they wouldn't rent the van to me if I don't buy insurance from them. I said I want to talk to the boss and he said the boss would not talk to me and threatened me "you want rent the van or not". What could I say and do while someone is waiting for me to pick up the cargo. And I found they do sneaky trick. when I went to check the van, the fuel meter needle is not on full mark while their piece of paper marked with full tank of fuel. He told me to refill the tank just as it was like this when i return the van. You think i am a fool or what??!! You would turn out to say i do not fill the tank when i return the van!! I asked him to mark correctly on that paper. He became mad at me and screamed that He would charge me 3o bucks for my talking too much!!! I had very bad impression and experience with UHAUL and I felt I was fooled and cheated. I am very dissapointed with Uhaul's service and their employees. I strongly recommend that Uhaul should terminate the service authorization to those stores with bad service and should implement measurements to insure service quality.

Rating:

Train the attendants at the location. They need a better computer, system knowledge. Check in and check out should not be an hour long each time. I am very scared the way my private information was being shared over the phone with people at home. I will monitor this.
