I like the variety of equipment at this location and amount of equipment available at any given time. when I showed up the employee at the location wasnt trained how to process rentals, i had to wait for the employee that did know to come into work. When they did finally show up, none of the policies or features of the equipment were explained to me but he was very personable and helped me get set up quickly. The address is also some random person's trailer on google maps. As a customer i dont care about the address where the equipment is located I would rather know the address of the company I have to go into to process my rental. (In this case Covey Cafe which isnt super clear on google)

Jose was super helpful with getting the equipment set up. He stayed longer to help me as I am 8.5 months pregnant, even was late to an appt. What could be helpful is giving him more training and guidance on the trucks/trailers so he is fully informed. Had to climb out the window of my car because we didn’t think I could open the window once it was loaded on the trailer. Found out later that the wheel wells come down.

The gentleman that checked in the car trailer was friendly and very helpful. To unhook my car from the trailer I got very dirty, dusty, gravel and dirt staging area.

Drop box hard to find

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul. The app didn’t work to check in and I sat outside for over an hour trying to get through to someone to help. I called the number on the order confirmation and explained the app wasn’t working so they told me to come inside and they could get me checked in if the app wasn’t working. When I went inside they quickly told me that they couldn’t help me, I had to call U-Haul customer service. Not to mention it was over 100 degree weather.

It was in a dirt weeded parking lot. It felt unsafe to park in the area as the dirt parking lot where the U-Haul trucks was quite far from the location of the café, which was the U-Haul office. It was over 100° and I had to walk back-and-forth from the truck to the office on three occasions to try to get the truck to go in the Drive to figure out where the box was where the key was located and to try and open the lockbox which would not open after I found it and put the correct code in. Also, the truck had no air-conditioning or it was working very faintly. I asked the guy who came out to help to start the truck which we don’t know why it wouldn’t go when it was in Drive. No idea it went in reverse. I asked him it said yet and it said to turn off the tow. and yet he said he did not know how to turn that off as well. Neither one of us could find how to turn that off, and the toe light was on which I just had to drive with it so.

Took a little longer to pick up, but drop off was easy.

Not only was the location not manned but there was no marked parking, and the site looked liked it was park of an old trailer park dirt lot with no marking for returns. I reached out to the Driggs Idaho regional U-Haul manager for the rental and also notified him of the drop off date of June 16th. I was then charged for extra days from Covey Cafe even after having 2 different people confirm my drop off date. Not very professional at all.

Jose has a great cafe, but he is very lax at taking care of U Haul customers. I think he needs more training.

No signage or indication of where to get keys. Manager wasn't on-site to get me keys. U-haul made it right by getting me into a truck that had keys in a lock box, but it was an hour and a half past the reservation time by the time I got another truck. Customers of the cafe were parking where the u-haul equipment was and blocking access to the trailers and trucks.
