This was a contactless pickup at a unmanned/closed rental location. Your app would not let me check in to pick up the truck because it said I was not at the location even though I was setting on the bumper of the truck I reserved. I called customer service for assistance and things got worse. After 30 minutes waiting on someone to answer, the person I talked to told me it was my phone that was the issue not the app. Then she said she could not help me check in and that I would need to reserve a truck at a different location and go there. She then blind transferred me to someone else. After explaining my issue to the second person they said they could see my location but still could not check me in. That this was an issue for a different department and that she could not help me either. Once again I was blind transferred to someone. After explaining what I had gone through for the last hour along with all of my reservation information this person finally agreed that they could check me in over the phone and get my keys. When I reserved the truck I declined the insurance. They told me my reservation was $30 more because they put insurance on the reservation. I also reserved a furniture dolly to move a piano. There was no dolly in the truck. After some arguing they finally dropped the price of the rental by $30 but said they could not remove the insurance and they took the cost of the dolly off. I will never reserve a truck through Uhaul again!!!!!!!!Michael G.

Online check-in was not user-friendly. I could never get a verification code via text or email and ended up locked out of my account. There were no phone numbers listed to contact a representative. Found a number online and after a lengthy hold, spoke to someone that unlocked the account but attempted to get off the phone as quickly as possible without making sure I could actually obtain the keys to the vehicle. Also, did not get the furniture dolly or pads that I paid for.Nathan D.
