Check mechanical issues on trucks. My 2023 14k miles 15' truck sent to go 400 miles one way had catastrophic electronic failure that as a professional mechanic find highly unlikely to have started for the first time, within the first 15 minutes of my possession of the vehicle. Y'all can do better, especially for long distance, one way trips.

I didn't know what to do to get the keys out of box. Thankfully a man pulled up, he had keys to open door. He asked if he could help me. I never a rental. Praise God he got me checked in,got the keys out. He suppose to take a couple of young ones to a game, but took care of me first. Thank Sir hope the game was good. You all were fast and pleasant to deal with. God Bless and again thank you.

The drop off after hours was not easy on my phone. If my son had not been there I wouldn’t have been able to complete. Never got an email or message saying it was a completed turn in. Very confusing

Rental of moving pads was not explained very well. Trucks breaks need to be serviced. The truck would not stop unless without placing large amount of pressure on the brake pedal. I did not feel like I could stop quickly.

Your U-Haul turn-in app did not allow enough room in the comments block for me to describe the problems listed above. Although the app did not indicate there was a word/letter limit, once I completed that stage, I found the “continue button greyed out and couldn’t figure out why it would not let me continue. It took much too long to complete, leaving me standing in the cold for at least thirty minutes. Difficult to use, and there should not be a word/letter limit when a customer is describing a problem. Further, I listed the equipment as unsafe to rent to next family due to the above reasons, yet the app completed stating that the equipment would indeed be picked up by the next family- indicating that U-Haul cares not about renting out unsafe, unpaired equipment. I would not be surprised if U-Haul ends up facing a class action lawsuit
