I reserved moving blankets and 2 dollies which were not there in bethel. Had to drive to danbury to pick up and return. I'm sure I'll have to pay for extra gas and mileage. It would be helpful if uhaul would send the instructions for a contactless return in advance of the return. It's very frustrating to get to the point when you're about to drop your key off in the Dropbox only to find that you need to go back to the vehicle and take several photos. Why can't this info be provided in advance?Meagan C.

Albeit I was there on a Sunday, but there was no one there. I dropped off using the mobile site. The location looks old and dated, which wasn't helped by the fact that it's almost impossible to visit due to construction on Newtown Road. Although above I said "clean and inviting" was "not applicable" - to be honest, all I saw was the parking lot. The parking lot was okay. The rest of it looked old with the exception of the office building. Although run by a non-branded U-Haul dealer, the buildings looked exactly like U-Haul storage facilities.Christopher D.
Your app and remote pickup procedure is awful. App didnt work and it took me an hour to pick up. Also didn't work at drop off. Luckily, you had a nice person to deal with at both ends that helped me out. I won't use u again unless there is a human there for pick up and return.Daniel S.

The truck was fine but it was really a frustrating experience checking in on the app and I had to call someone (who was very helpful) in order to get the truck. Y'all need to make it more clear this is a remote pickup before 10am.Jennifer F.

It's fine for a drop off location but it was a little confusing to know where to leave the truck and where the drop box was located. Perhaps if they have PICTURES like we are asked to upload then it would be less confusing.Donald N.

Make sure customer is able to get all the info they need like lock box code before hanging up. App failed and rep should have stayed on the line to make sure the app showed me exactly what we needed. The truck had a problem with one tire that I didn't discover until after it was loaded. The agent never saw it. It had a huge dent in the side that I had to point out to the agent and took a picture of. I got charged for damage to the tire, which is inexcusable.Thaddeus G.

First nuisance- Called customer service to pick up a van that night. Went to the facility at 10:30 pm and was told the lady made my reservation for the following day. called customer service and she said she has another van for me at another location. I stated ill be there in a few hours to pick it up. Second nuisance- I got to the location at 510am. i took the selfie and 2 photos of my license to pick up the van. the website kept denying my request. Went on live chat with Joshua. He stated i needed a passport or to call contacts. I stated i drove up from NY (Now in CT) and i didn't have my passport but i have copy of it on my phone i can sen. He stated i couldn't use that and i had to have them call one of my contacts to verify my identity like a selfie and license wasn't enough. i told him its 5 o'clock in the morning, I'm not waking anyone up at this time for you to verify its me. he stated that i wouldn't be able to rent the van then. Mind you, i was on a tight time restriction for a scheduled appointment which i had to reschedule once already for their previous mistake. he kept stating i had to have someone to call. I eventually had him call my mother at 5 am and wake her up after she gets no sleep anyways from work. All of a sudden he states he needs one more contact to call. Are you serious? You just had me wake my mother up and want someone else to call. i stated to joshua that no one ever told me i needed a passport or to call to verify myself. He said yes we sent you an email which i told them U-Haul never did. so while on the chat i called customer service, and asked about this "email." Customer service stated to me they they indeed NEVER sent the mail. After all of this back and forth it was already nearly 6 o'clock. Joshua signed off his terminal in my face and never asked if i needed any more help. I drove to my location for the scheduled appointment and my job was cancelled due to my delay which was created by UHAUL. iI lost out on a lot of money and any future business.LUCIO L.

When you state access to the lot from 6am-8:30pm it wasn't clear that is only with a code or something. So when I showed up at 7:45 to return van and get my car I couldn't get in until 9am. No big deal but just saying.mike M.
