There was dirt and gunk all over the cup holders. But the real issue is the location - the driveways are way to tight and not ideal for the turning radius of the truck. The area is not kept clean or orderly to help with moving the truck either. There's junk everywhere and overall and awful place.John M.

On pickup gas gauge showed empty. Advised by agent I would get a $50 credit for this as it should have had 1/4 tank. Scary ride to nearest gs, Put in 70 dollars worth of regular gas brought gauge up to just over the 1/2 tank mark. Never got the credit.James S.

Utterly dissatisfied, the car was filthy. I had to spend 20 minutes sweeping out broken glass, wood chips, and a lot of dirt. And the cabin smelled like cigarettes. Very disappointed, won't be using this service again!Tyler U.

I placed a reservation on a truck at one location and received an email with the address of my reserved truck. When I showed up to pick the truck up I was told I was at the wrong address. Even though I received an email with that location on it. I was then told I need to hurry because the other location (20 minutes away) closed in 30min. I was able to make it in time for pick up. I reserved the truck for 2 days. After only 24 hours the truck broke down and I was stuck at a busy intersection and had to direct traffic while I tried to figure out how to get a hold of road side assistance. Remove the truck the truck is in bad shape and ran like shit not safe And the run around you all had this location do was bull shit and I did not get the right size truck we needed a (10 foot) and you all gave the location a (17 foot ) truck that was in bad shape and not safe or a vertime I had y good drive that truck need to be remove from your fleet the second truck was much better but the location had to run and get it and it was still to big (15 foot ) and we needed a (10 foot ) still to big this was the worsting time I had renting from u haul and I am a return customer you all m Made me fill like al was not important to you all . No one was there even though I arrived during normal business hours. Parking was limited. We contacted U-Haul who helped us check out the truck on line. We eventually found the keys. The floor had dry mud on it and there was only 1/4 tank of gas. Two other customers came to return trucks and there was noone to help them.DONNA S.
I ordered a 10' foot truck for that faithful Sunday and was stuck with driving a huge, dirty, smelling, loud squealing noise while on highway to and from. I was told I wouldn't be changed for the extra big truck, but was anyway. I have never in my life gotten such a filthy, smelly, loud vehicle from UHaul. I would never use this dealer ever again... Unable to locate the key to start van. According to the main office a wall box along with a code to retrieve the key was not provided. Our call, concerning this matter, to the local dealer was never returned. The key was eventually found in the van after considerable time wasted and much frustration.Philip D.
Stan Deimler did a great job with my rental pickup despite terrible issues with the UHaul computer system and computer system support personnel which caused a long delay (45 minutes) with my pick-up. I would suggest using his advice to improve your processes and systems.George Z.

When we arrived at this location, the truck I reserved had not been returned. The shop owner , Stan, was very kind and was continuously calling U haul to solve this problem. Finally, UHaul authorized him to give me a local truck. I was grateful for this decision and applaud Stan's perseverance.Joy G.

The van was very dirty and smelly and had cigarette butts in one console area and cup holders full of spillage. At this COVID 19 area this is unacceptable. I have used U-HAUL services before but this car was horrible even mechanically it didn't sound good a counted my blessings when I was done without having any hitch. I will never use this service again this is because of this value I have for my physical and health matters. Thanks.pamla A.

I reserved at 17' truck but was told they didn't have one available and was given a 15' truck that didn't fit all of my furniture. I also wasn't informed that I couldn't drop it off at any Uhaul location. I was not very satisfied with the whole experience. I would not recommend making reservations online to anyone. The dealer however was very apologetic.Danielle R.
The u haul was parked approximately 1/2 mile away from the check in location, which is understandable, due to locations sized but bit of an inconvinience considering I had to haul the appliance silly in my personal vehicle. The u haul was not cleaned or checked in properly upon the previous return. Not sure if it was even sanitized. I was notified from when I dropped off in peckville there was an abundance of trash behind the seats and such. I did explain to the woman that it was not mine. I did sweep out he truck and sanitized it myself. So it was upsetting that it was left that way and I'm assuming it wasnt checked in properly since the parking g location was far away from the actual check in location.Sean S.
The truck was absolutely filthy when we arrived and got the truck. Someone had been smoking in it and the weather strip was hanging off the door. The individual before us or the business did not have the correct information on the rental from and we were going to be charged for 50 miles when we only drove 5 at the most. The owner was hard to reach and wouldn't come meet us to talk about this. It was also hard to park. I would never come to this business again to rent a u haul.Sean G.

First of all, you didn't have the truck that I asked for b/c it was impounded so I took the 10'. It took my guys two trips where if I had the bigger truck would have taken only one. Stan said he would charge me for half the mileage b/c of this and that I did not have to put gas in the vehicle. You charged me full amount for mileage! Called. I think this was a Father and Son business. Father wanted nothing to do with U-haul rentals. Son was not there at the time of drop off. Father was not helpful at all. I was told just to leave the truck, no paper work exchanged hands. Just left the key and that was it. I assume everything worked out.fred R.
Deimler U-Haul in Enola, PA, was the most atrocious facility. I hired two friends to help me move. When they arrived at 10:30 am, the reserved truck wasn't available. I tried to find a trunk and just ended up renting the late truck. When a I got to the facility, it is in a dilapidated and filthy lawn mower garage. No one was there. I called the number on file twice and the gentlemen said 2 minutes each time. He was 30 minutes late. He gave me a truck that was on â€œEâ€ - empty. There were only 18 miles left on a 17 food truck. He casually said sorry, but didn't offer any help. I did make a comment about how late he was. He looked at me and said, â€œDo you want the truck or not?â€ I have never experienced such ignorance and rude behavior. To add insult to injury, there wasn't anyone there when I dropped off the truck. There was no place to park the truck. I called the owner to let him I know. He expected me to pull the truck in my parking spot. I was alone. This establishment is a black mark in an excellent company. I truly hope something is done because it reflects poorly on a well known band. I am also inquiring about some compensation for wasting two hours of my day picking up and returning a truck.roopali K.

The place is dirty and the people don't really seem to care about their U-Haul customers. There never seems to be anyone at the front desk, and you have to go into the repair bays to find someone to help you. I have to rent again in the near future but will demand a different location.Charles Z.

This was by far the worst Uhaul experience my father and I have ever had. Upon arrival, both employees refused to help us, stating that we had to "speak to the manager." When the manager did appear, he started chastising us about being late (I requested the Uhaul for 12pm-6pm), stating that I was suppose to pick it up at 10am. After asking him why the pickup time was changed without me being notified, he started to avoid taking responsibility and talking about having a bad back from an accident years ago. I don't know how this rundown mechanic shop became associated with Uhaul, but both appearance and customer service skills are severely lacking. If I ever have to rent a truck again, there is absolutely no way I would ever return to this location.Robert B.

He charged me for two days instead of one day. He said he would correct it when I got back, but nobody was there when I returned at 11;20 am. I called his cell phone and was informed that the mailbox was full. I texted him but he did not respond. i ordered it for 24 hours and kept it for 19.5 hours. So i am charged double for a dirty trailer in a disorganized cluttered place.Richard B.

I reserved this trailer at the Harrisburg location. I specifically agreed on picking it up in Harrisburg after the rep showed what equipment you that was best suited for me. When I arrived to pick it up, the gentleman says "uh-oh, it's not here". After an upsetting discussion that the trailer I had reserved was gone and I had to pick it up somewhere else, I was upset and went to the reported location. No one had called to tell me that the trailer was gone and that I would have to go somewhere else. I had travelled 37 miles one way to get this trailer. When I arrived at the next location, the rep told me he had to drive to get it. Do you know where he picked it up? Five miles from my house. If someone would have called to tell me that the trailer was five miles from my house, I would have been happy to save all those miles to pick it up. It's not easy moving from Pennsylvania to Florida, especially when you can't rely on the rep to provide the equipment agreed upon with a reservation. I have never had a bad experience with UHaul and this was disappointing. When I called your 800 number, the customer service representative said they would refund $50 for a reservation guarantee. I have not seen that either. Would you please research this because having to drive all those miles to pick the trailer was wrong. No one calling me to tell me what was going on was wrong.timmy F.

Our truck reservation was moved to this location. Not only was it another 20 mile ride but they didn't have the size truck we had reserved. The personnels messaging was that, "everyone in the area has been moving since school let out." It's the middle of May and most school let out 2 to 3 weeks ago. Additional time was added having to make a round trip to Enola and they didn't have the correct sized truck. There was no mention of additional miles being added to the contract. I also want to note that we found out this information within less than 24 hours of the pick up of the truck. This was not a great start to our trip. What can we do to improve for the next customer? 1. Notify customers earlier about changes to their reservation. 2. Make sure you have the inventory to rent to them that is the size they requested. 3. Make changes to the contract very clear to the customer, i.e. additional mileage. It wasn't even on the website's online reservation. 4. Make it clear where the customer may drop off their truck if it's a one way trip. There is no option on your mobile app or website to designate a drop off location. I had to call and ask about it, which wouldn't have been possible if this was after hours.Sean E.

The gentleman at the counter, Butch, was great. Got us in our truck quickly and efficiently. Would definitely work with him again. HOWEVER, as others have said, he location is extremely tight and hard to maneuver in. Barely enough room for the truck. Only room enough for one vehicle to drive around the building. When we arrived, there was a car blocking the path, so we had to wait for them to move before we could even park. Upon entering the building, the owner of the attached hardware store immediately asked if we were taking our vehicle with us when we left so that we didn't take up any spots for the hardware store. When we returned the truck, the same guy asked if we were blocking his driveway. We said no, but he went outside to check, and, even though the truck's front tires were against the curb, he asked us to move it further in...told us to crank the wheel hard to get that extra inch or two. Would most likely not rent again from this location solely because of the difficulty in maneuvering and having to deal with the hardware store owner.Dan H.
