The truck only had 1/2 tank of gas when I picked it up but records showed 7/8 full. I pointed out to individual and SH said she would note it. When I turned it in with over 1/2 tank full I was told by new person I ha to return with 7/8 full and she had no record of initial discrepancy.FREDERICK F.

Locators convenient but the car trailer I rented was dangerous, we ended up unloading the car from the trailer and driving it which defeats the whole purpose of renting this trailer. When I told the lady not to rent it out again she said she was busy just to make notes on the app.ROY S.

I have rented U-Hauls many times. However, this time was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. First of all we waited an hour and a half to pick up the U-Haul. Wow waiting I was on hold customer service for 25 minutes. At which time the place closed. U-Haul representative sent me to another location. I must admit the man at the Nashville Highway U-Haul location in Columbia Tennessee was great. But did not have a truck that I can use. Meanwhile, I went back to the original U-Haul location the next day, after having to reschedule my Movers. .When I returned the U-Haul I clearly told the lady that the card they had on file was not the card being used to pay for the U-Haul. I handed her the card that was to be used. Lady told me that I had to refund that she had to process to the original card that was on file. When she process that refund the original card was charged for the entire amount of the U-Haul. After staying on hold for over 30 minutes for customer service to see if I could transfer the amount charged to another card I was told that the department that would handle that had closed. I was also told that department that would handle the transfer of the funds to the correct card would not be open until Monday 7. In the meantime, the card the payment was applied to was over the limit creating and over the limit fee and other pending charges were declined. This incident created multiple problems. I do understand that mistakes happen. However, I had previously call to have the card changed and was told that it could not be changed until the U-Haul was returned and to do it at the time of the return.Jean D.
I just wouldn't recommend U-Haul I was told it would be 220 instead I was charged 479 absolute rip off never again will I use U-Haul!Travis B.
The pickup experience was THE WORST. You steered me to a location that was closed and who had not left a key for my truck. I had to drive 15 miles to another location. And the truck leaked, all my daughters belongings got wet when it rained. Then you billed me for 6 gallons of gas when I brought it back at the right level.John C.

Solon Uhaul is fantastic! What can I say about Rick & Karen! I contacted Rick to reserve a trailer to haul some furniture to our daughter in Tennessee. Then I got a call from traffic saying trailer would not be available in Solon and I might have to drive over 100 miles to get one. I became frustrated not very happy. I called Rick and he assured me that he would take care of it even if he had to go and pick one up for me. He called me on Tuesday and said he found one and drove and picked it up and I could pick it up on Wednesday. Picked it up and he made sure that it was hooked up properly! I could no find a drop off location that was open and one said they didn't take trailers. I rode around with it empty for an hour trying to drop. The drop off location was more than helpful by phone but 15 miles in opposit direction to drop in Columbia when I was heading a different way. Bad experience with that bc the one I tried to drop at first was on west 8th street in Columbia and it was a bad neighborhood and I got nervous there trying to leave when no owner was there with an open store front.MARY T.

There is no assistance with basic equipment returns such as unhooking trailers. This is actually NOT a Uhaul center but a gas station with no trained personnel with equipment.Susan H.

When we arrived for pick up the woman did not know what was going on and had no record of my reservations. This his was after my pick up location was changed. They did not know how to hook up the trailer at all and could not assist. The trailer was laying on the ground and had no jack to get it up on the truck. Luckily there were 3 women with us and we could finally get it lifted, but again we had to guess on the best way to hook it up. They took no pictures of it hooked up, did not verify the vehicle towing was capable or ask who the drivers were. We managed to get it going. This was all have a lot of time on with the main number and the regional manager. On the way down to Florida they changed my drop off location this time. This drop off location was way to far away. I had to call the main number to be transferred to the Florida location. They were able to change it again to a closer one.Tamara K.

This is the 2nd time we've used this location. First time was to pick up a truck. They had only one option available, which was the 26 ft truck and I needed the smallest, not the biggest. We were only moving studio apartment furniture. So, today we went to return a truck. We got there in time, but their uhaul computer system was down. I also had to put the gas back in the uhaul, which the gas pump also had issues. This made us late to return our truck, but as I mentioned in the drop off review for cedar city rentals, uhaul customer service was super understanding and they didn't overcharge us for the few minutes we had to wait for the gas pump to work properly. I had reserved a truck at the location Nashville Hwy We sat and waited 45 minute called 4 or 5 times NO answer. So we went to the location on Bear Creek. Then after I got the truck and where loading it the guy called PISSED off at me because I did not get a truck from him. I hope someone reads this and stops the guy from renting out your trucks.he was nasty on the phone with me. People like him will give U-Haul a bad name. The girl at the place where I did get the truck needs to get a raise. She was the BEST>BRIAN B.

We called before we came. The person answering the phone was short and not very clear so we went up to the location to understand what they had as NO other location for 300 miles in the direction we were trying to go had anything. We were there for over 2hrs and 30mins. I had to call customer service bc the man at the desk was trying to charge me $470 something dollars for a trip we did last year that cost only $200! It was ridiculous! The other gentlemen that the counter attempted to assist and couldn't. He later came outside asking us a few questions while I was on the phone he told us they make commissions On sale so we understood why it was such a process. While I was on the phone with customer service I was transferred to Ronni, from Memphis, who was SO very nice and had us a truck for $114 for two day with 1 month of free storage at any U-Haul at that location. Ronnie told us if there were ANY more issues to call him directly. We proceeded back inside to complete the transaction to find out he was not able to assist us. He informed us that it was not working meanwhile I was on the website trying to complete the transaction on my end. Apparently they Did not have a 15 foot truck that we needed but had a 15 foot Which was going to cost us an additional $75. By this time we were going on three hours and we're very frustrated we told the gentleman that was fine we understood we had a two day rental not including mileage and less we went over 250 miles as well as a free much storage. I received a text message confirming my order when we were about 45 minutes out just fine that we were being charged $.99 a mile on top of the $200 we had just paid. He charge us for 180 miles with a 15 foot truck in town one day no storage. Even better we didn't leave do you have facility until 5:30 PM to find out we needed to have a return the next day by 4:15 PM!!! The whole process was very frustrating I sat on hold with customer service for the rest of the ride the nice gentleman was not able to help me much but said that he hopes that what he did would fix it and that his regional manager would be in touch. Jim the regional manager was very nice and reimbursed us $200! I am grateful that the manager corrected the mistakes and the gym and Customer Service was nice enough to share he said minute what he was supposed to on his end. We went to the same you have storage on Christmas Day Not even eight months ago doing the same exact move for less than $200ANGELA K.

My rental agreement stated the drop-off point was in Lewisburg, TN and when I arrived to call the 800 number listed. I did call after driving to Lewisburg TN as per instructions was told their dealer in Lewisburg did not accept towed equipment and I had to drive to Columbia TN another 25 miles to drop the tow dolly at the Bear Creek facility. I would like to be compensated for the extra time and mileage it required for U Haul's faulty instructions.ROBERT L.
