The owner scammed me out of hundreds of dollars, gave me the truck on a quarter tank and said it was at 3/4's of a tank. His filing process was horrible. He had everything on a torn piece of paper with no electronic book keeping. The back of the truck was filled with trash that I had to throw away. His name is Larry. He also proceeded to verbal assault me about buying furniture when I wasn't wanting any. He scared my wife by talking about racism and China. This was a horrible experience.Nicholas G.

I received my rented truck with just under 1/4 tank of gas. I returned my rented truck with the same amount of gas and was charged $52.67. I have requested a refund multiple times and have not been given a proper refund yet. This is unacceptable.Morgan C.

This man is a nasty, aggressive old man who should not be in business nor represent Uhaul. He has no means of being able to communicate appropriately with a customer. Made my disabled husband park the vehicle offsite (far away) screamed at him and said he's gonna take his whole parking lot out all because we pulled in to his parking area. No one told us to park offsite and we had the 26 ft truck. We were no where goimg to "take out his parking lot" as my husband professionally drives trucks. But he immediately started screaming before we even pulled halfway in. Secondly, he practically refused to give us a return receipt for the rental. Told us, receipts don't happen anymore because of covid. We told him then we're not leaving a $55k truck without proof of the mileage, gas and truck return. He told me then I can stay there all day until he closes. I would never ever buy furniture from this man nor will I ever do uhaul business from him. He is a pure nasty old man!!Paul S.

Do not overcharge for fuel, maybe get a truck that gets more than 1.5 miles per gallon (based on your charges), and every other expense that you can possibly squeeze a dollar out of. As well as, clean out the truck from the previous customer smh.TROY C.

Upon returning the trailer, the manager of the store showed very poor customer service. I politely asked Mr. Jack if he could remove the trailer from my hitch because I am currently with child. I said personnel was helpful only because he told me where to park but he seemed inpatient when I was backing in. He kept saying â€œcome on come on comeâ€ as I was slowly backing in. He could have been more pleasant. He didn't seem conversational or inviting. Once i parked he said I was done and I walked away. When I picked up the truck, the fuel tank had a little more than 1/2 tank. When I returned it, it had almost 3/4 tank. I was charged extra, stating that it left full and was not returned full. I returned it with more fuel than it had when I picked it up. This is not right.Robert S.

The bigger truck that I requested was not at the location, so I was forced to get the next size down. I requested a dolly and was told they didn't have one. The employee did offer me a $20 discount, I I truly wanted when I ordered for my moving day, not a discount. The dolly is something I needed to move my items and I was forced to go buy one.ROSE G.

The representative that rented the truck was very ornery and rude. I moved in town and advised that I would be driving less that 10 miles. Before I left I confirmed the mileage on the application and only needed it for 2 miles as my new apartment is downtown. When I brought the truck back I told him add two miles because that's all I used it for. He then had me go back to the truck and write down the mileage. Again I told him I only needed it for an in town move as I could not fit my couch and mattress in the car so it was a convenience factor to use uhaul. He then acted as if he didn't believe me and said â€œbye, your done as I was walking out the door. I then returned to confront him as I did not appreciate his tone and he advised that it was because of social distancing that he would send my receipt. Mind you neither him nor his friend had a mask on. I told him I did not appreciate him taking my money and treating me in this manner and I wouldn't tolerate it. His rebuttal was I didn't take your money U haul did. Nonetheless he is an ambassador for your brand it at is loathsome that someone would act in this manner. The rental location is also a furniture store so not only did he lose business if/when I move again but he lost furniture sales and I will be sure to tell all of my friends and colleagues not to go there. I am thoroughly disgusted and infuriated with this experience. Overall uhaul as a brand has been my go to for moves but at this location. I'm completely and utterly disgusted and angry I had to endure this.Antwuan E.
