the only thing I didn’t like was that the guy called me wondering where his truck was..I told him I had already dropped it off and put the keys in their box..I figured he should have went out and looked before calling me..so people please do your jobs before accusing me of not returning the truck..

When I when I arrived I was treated like I was from another planet or something and then I was looked after no friendliness they didn't check the trucks the trucks had no gas this is the worst you all experience I've had in my 50 years . I had to sweep the truck before I could put my stuff in it. I don't know if it's all the U-Hauls but I remember you Hall's as being very good but now I have a very different opinion thank you

I recommend this location to everybody. I rent trucks from here almost every week. The manager i deal with is Avi he is very professional to deal with. Never a problem. Always very dependable.

The location is a joke. We had a booking, and when we came to pick up our reservation, the guy didn’t react to our request at all. He was busy with his phone and didn’t pay any attention whatsoever. Even though we were the only clients there, it took us an hour just to get the truck. On top of that, the office was dirty.

Hard to find in large mall. Dropped in parking lot which had random furniture garbage in it also Uhaul app wouldn’t work for drop off. Needed to use website

I really don't have any recommendations to fix something thats not broke. I call in, I reserve a truck, I.go the next day pay the manager what we think will be driving. I pick up the keys check the truck and gas. Everytime I go it's the same thing. Nothings ever wrong for me.

We rented a trailer, it was clean however the safety cables were freyed badly and must be replaced immediately before someone else rents it as this is unsafe and could be fined if MTO were to inspect it.

This time everything went smoothly. The dealer at Bayfield was friendly and made the process smooth. I have learned that there is a flaw in the overall programming on the U-Haul app that lets you make a guaranteed reservation on a Sunday during a time that no one is in the office to put keys in the vehicle for your pickup. The app makes the customer believe everything is set but when you go to pick up the vehicle on a Monday morning at 7am, it is not ready. This is not the fault of the dealer but if U-Haul’s reservation platform. I recommend going during open hours.

I reserved the truck online ahead of time and I reserved there to be a dolly and blankets. Online it said the reservation was guaranteed and I could pick it up at 7am. When I arrived, I used the app to check out the vehicle and it said that the keys were in the vehicle on the drivers side or passenger side under the mat. The doors were both locked and I couldn’t get in. I called the number on the U-Haul app and spoke to a representative. She apologized and said that someone must have forgotten to put the keys. She told me to go to the back and look in the back. The cargo door was unlocked but nothing was inside. No keys and also to my disappointment no dolly or blankets. The representative at that point wanted to take the charge for the dolly and blankets off of my order so I wouldn’t be charged. She then had me walk to the back of the Bayfield mall to look for a lock box. I saw one that was orange and had the words U-Haul printed on it but she said not that one and told me to keep looking. I found 3 unmarked black lock boxes. She gave me codes for each one to try but upon opening each one, more disappointment as each was empty. At this point she told me that I could wait until 8am when the U-Haul store opened inside the mall and a person could assist me. I agreed and waited. At around 8:05, no one had showed up but a text came in from someone representing U-Haul Bayfield. They sent me to another lock box outside the mall, this time it was an orange one that said U-Haul that the first representative told me not to look at. The person texted me a new code and it opened. I found lots of keys and was able to get the one that matched the number on the reservation. I still had no dolly or blankets. After several texts with the mystery representative, they told me to check other cargo doors of other vehicles to find the dolly and blankets. I was able to find some and then carry on with my move successfully. I did lose an hour and a half and it was incredibly frustrating.

My reservation was for 7:30, was supposed to be a mobile pickup. The key was not in the lock box, waited on hold for over 15 minutes with U-HAUL customer service, no phone number for the location. The owner didn’t show up until 8:10. And then I had to wait while he took things out of my rental. I was delayed for an hour.

I am not good with online booking and had trouble connecting with someone responsible at the location so it was a little stressful getting the trailer as it was done with no one present at the U Haul location even though I came during posted hours. My return was done after hours and it was less stressful. Trailer came as advertised and the the links were great to help me get going.

Easy experience to rent, professional service person was helpful. Vehicle was in VERY good condition and drove VERY nicely, they even had a dozen moving blankets in the back which was a very nice surprise and came im handy.

Only one employee working this location which makes wait times far to long. The ramp on back or 26 foot truck was broken and thrown in back of the truck. Vehicle only had a quarter tank of fuel so we had to drive directly to a gas station. We booked a truck in Tiny township location after not being able to book one in the Midland location then received a call Friday morning saying there was no trucks available, so we had to drive 45 minutes to a Barrie location to pick up a truck which cost us an additional $50 In fuel. This was a very poor experience for us.

Barrie is getting worse for crime. We find this place to be nice and open. We felt safe dropping off the trailer at 1:30 in the morning. I would highly recommend this location, Bayfield Mall.

When we need U-Hull truck i find out bayfield location via Internet when I go U-Hull office one off man I don't know Name deal me but he didn't guide me properly i ask questions but he didn't answer me properly I don't know when I return truck my extra money never show in my account

The trailer light connector was missing the prong for the running lights to work. Signal and brake lights worked just wouldn't of been able to use it after dark

Was told would receive discount and would show on final invoice but didn’t so am disappointed was finally able to collect my belongings from storage after having been homeless for most of the past four years and am now on odsp so cost savings would’ve been greatly appreciated and made this process a lot easier

I did not get the van I booked but got a smaller one. I did not agree to the charges and was told someone from this location would call me on Monday. No call just charged my visa. Charged me for fuel even though I returned it with more fuel than when I received the van. Location was difficult to deal with just trying to get the rental in the first place. I would not recommend U-Haul an especially this location.

We almost drive 14 km only and they charger 77.57$ first and returning after3 hrs they charge 11.51$ again.Totally disappointed!!!!! Very bad experience

I arrived a bit early but the check out process still took over 45 min. It was supposed to be contactless, even though I had followed all the steps and uploaded pics of drivers license-it wasn’t. Office was closed, had to wait for staff to arrive. Truck was surrounded in deep snow and the windshield and hood were deeply encrusted in snow. No snow brush in the truck. But the truck was good and didn’t have any problems with it. $50 rental is cheap but all the extras ended up being just over $108. We only drove the truck 18 km in total.

I was not please with the customer service. I had to make a phone call back to the company and the guy was very rude to me. He even toid me that he was expecting me to call him.. I never rented a truck from you guy in the winter and didnt know you dont use winter tires. The van was stuck in ice. I put the truck in drive press the gas and the truck was not moving. I did know I had to rock the truck by putting in reverse and then drive. I been driving for over 30 years and in winter condition. Never experience this if I had know this was his respond I will ofbjust return back the key. I dont appreciate anyome talking to me like that. His attitude dont reflex good on your business.

The person at the counter at this location (the representative) is extremely rude, unfriendly, and abusive. He didn't want to walk to review the truck before giving it to me. I told him that I needed to check to make sure all was ok. He got mad and finally walked to check the truck. The truck has a scratch on the bumper. I told him I would take a picture, but he didn't want to do an entire walk around the truck. The website said that the hours of work are from 8 AM to 7 PM. When I came back at 3 PM, the place was closed, so I didn't know what to do. I called him, and he answered angrily and told me to put the keys inside the box. I didn't know where the box was, and he got furious and yelled at me that the box was obvious in the entry, so I told him that I would take a picture of the box with me delivering the keys, and he call me stupid and ignorant, I told him that I am doing cause the place was closed and need to make sure he know that I delivery the key. He is so rude and disrespectful. abusive, and bullying, I never ever, ever come back to that location in my entire life, I will tell everyone never ever use that location, I prefer pay extra money and go to another location. Also, he told me that I need to bring the truck full of gas, even though the truck was only 3/4 full, so I was robery cause I brought it back full even though was only 3/4 full

The staff member worker at this location was very rude and condescending with myself, as well as client ahead of me in line. Because of this I would think twice to refer this location. In addition, the agent failed to provide me with adequate notification that closing hours were different from those of the location my initial reservation was made. I was notified 30 minutes prior which put me in a difficult spot to ensure I was able to pick up rental in time.
