This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with UHAUL. Completely unprofessional from the start. The initial booking, was scheduled for a location that wasn't open at my appointed reservation time. Then upon arriving to the store after I stood outside for over 30 minutes, the agent showed up with an attitude and proceeded to tell me the truck that I had a confirmation for was already rented to another individual. I explained to the gentleman that I had flown in from out of state, and he stated to me that I should've never flown in without confirming the truck which I was holding in my hand and had shown him three times at that point. He then proceeded to go in the store and leave me outside for another 20 minutes. At this point we are at least 50 minutes past my appointment time to pick up the truck and he finally lets me in the store and proceeds to take an additional 45 minutes to eventually rent me the vehicle. Problem is had moving help reserved and paid for that I had to pay an additional two hours for due to a now 2 hour ordeal with the agent and placed me 4 hours behind my scheduled arrival time at my destination of which I had to pay additional fees for my moving help on the arrival end. I normally am not a complaining customer. I could understand a few minutes or even 30 minutes, but a 2 hour ordeal that started with the agent essentially blaming me for a mistake made by agents associated with UHAUL from the initial booking a reservation at a location that didn't open until an hour AFTER the appointed reservation time to taking almost 2 hours to finally rent the vehicle and drive away from the facility was a bit difficult. AND costing almost $500 dollars as well. I was in a huge bind and this ordeal made everything worse.Haley C.
