Very unhappy! First we were told the equipment we wanted wasn't available. Went to another location and even reserved pick up, get there and there's a note on the door saying that they won't be back until 1pm when our pick up was for 1130am and we were there on time. Call Uhaul back and get told that there is the equipment we need at the location we had JUST LEFT. Uhaul offered us a trailer instead of dolly at the same price due to the run around, which was about 45$. Great, made us happy. We went back to the first location which was 20 miles from where we were. Got the trailer and left at about 1pm. Well after the time we expected to leave. No where do anyone mention that during drop off, would we have to show pictures. In fact, we were told as long as it was back before the worker arrived in the morning, we would be fine. I was dropped off when we got back and my father went and dropped the trailer off around 8pm. We didn't even have the trailer a full 24 hours. I get the bill today in my email saying my dads card was charged $169.63!!! Well over what we were promised due to the run around we already had with them! I will not be doing any business with Uhaul in the future, as my father is now in a bind because of this and our promises were not honored. I didn't even get notification about the return process until well after the equipment was already returned (at about 10-11pm when it was already dropped off hours prior). Just bad, bad service!!!!

U Haul cancelled my original reservation without notifying me. It's fortunate I checked before heading 60 minutes in the wrong direction. U Haul need to do a better job notifying customers of a change in plans. This comment does not reflect the experience at the pick up location where I was able to find a trailer

Be sure to tell the customer that they need to fill the gas back to where it was even on a rental that is charged by the mile. I think it's absolutely crazy that a person pays $.99/mile and still gets charged a gas refill price!!

the problem is the phone number on uhauls web sit is wrong I thought I was calling ducks in west chazy but when I arrived to pick up the trailer I had registered one at there store in champlain just ask to make sure witch location you are talking with

Young kid. Didn't have a clue. He had to call plattsburgh. Said we would get email for dropping it off. Still don't have it. Called Plattsburgh location on rte 3 . Very rude guy who hung up on me after he interrupted me every time I tried to speak.

Plattsburgh dealers suck promised a car trailer called last minute to tell me they didn't have one . Ducks came through and excellent service yet was an hour further added lots more time on the trip . Plattsburgh's fault not ducks.
