Best customer service I have ever received at a Uhaul location. In fact, it may be the best I’ve had anywhere! Hasim (I hope I got his name right) processed us quickly and efficiently and got us on the road in no time. The truck was very clean and there was even moving blankets and a hand truck inside so we made good use of those. When I returned in my car with my friend still on the way back with the truck, Hasim pulled out a stool for me to sit on as I was clearly exhausted from my long move. He was so thoughtful and nice and very relaxed and friendly. I highly recommended using this place the next time you need a Uhaul!

The number given for the location was/is incorrect. 2841 Lawrence Ave E. Duty Mart (416) 285-9302. I attempted to call to confirm my reservation but was unable to do so because of the incorrect number. This led to delays on the moving day.

Honestly this location was the worst, my reservation was for a certain time and the person was 1.5 hours late and when he got there he changed my reservation to a later time. Charged me for equipment I didn’t use. It was just a big mess. I highly don’t recommend to anyone.

Service is ok. The only issue is that they should update their info on what time the store is opening. Website says 830 am. But didn’t open till 930. Wasted 1 hr waiting for them to open.

I booked the truck for 8:30 then I got a call to confirm It. After talk to the owner he said he opens his store at 9h then I agreed to go at 9h. He arrive 9:40 minutes as a result my booking elevator window has not been changed and it caused me some trouble

Van not as clean as other major rental companies but it a cargo van and it a bad winter with lot of slush and snow. However the service was very friendly and quick and will definitely use them again.

There was no qualified representative to assist me with the completion process at the drop off location. I would had to wait an additional 30 minutes or more for someone to arrive. More wasted time.

Arriving at our location there was no one available to give us the truck. I waited over an hour. I finally called and spoke to Abby who was amazing, then I spoke to Gabby who was also amazing and they worked it out. I didn’t get a dolly as required however the drop off location worked that out for me. I will not use your website to book any further request but I will call and speak to someone if a truck is needed. Thank you.

The reservation process is not accurate. I tried to book a truck since Monday. The head office sent me a confirmation and after that, I got another email from the store saying that the truck was not available or it was available from 7 pm to 2 am which no makes sense because I did not ask for those hours. I recommend changing the reservation process and not overbook it.

The agent had difficulty signing into the computer. I had to go behind the counter to type in the location's login and password. Over the cross of the transaction, I had to go behind the counter 3 times to type in my information and pay for the transaction. We were not given a copy of the transaction or a copy of the POS termination receipt. The agent did not go outside with us to go over the condition of the truck. The passenger mirror was held on with duct tape, the inside of the truck floor was covered with broken glass. Yes, we should have checked out the condition of the truck and gone back inside to have the mirror condition noted and the inside of the truck cleaned up. It had taken so long to complete the paperwork, even though we were 30 minutes early, we had to get to our pick up stop. Driving home, we had to stay in the outside lane, even though we should have been travelling in the right land due to the slowness of the truck. My husband didn't feel safe changing lanes with his lack of vision. When I called into the Uhaul office to report the condition of the vehicle so it was noted, we were offered the option of having someone come out to fix the mirror.

It took almost 2 hours to finish the checkout process at the store! The guy didn't even know how to use the uHaul portal properly and transaction wasn't going through. I had to call uHaul contact center and then call his manager to resolve the issue. Terrible experience, and all my timings (including elevator booking at my building) was messed up.

I went to the allocated store to pick up the rental truck at about 11:05 in the morning, once i get there the man who worked in the shop asked me to fill up the information on their computer behind the counter, we all failed and he called someone claiming that he is new ,and the guy we called did not produce anything better since i have never used UHaul link ,instead he asked me to do on my phone of which i did, he was still on the other side of the phone,after I finished,i told him am done and he said its not done untill it say Go Get The Keys. I personally called UHaul with my phone and they were able to assist me ,that was around 11:34 when i called. I got the keys around 12:05 after spending more than 1 hour to get te service/ key Bad location indeed

Better training for authorized dealers. The person didn't even inspect the vehicle b4 handing over the keys and there was a discrepancy with the amount of gas in the vehicle. Never want to use uhaul again.

1)The person who came to show us the vehicle adviced us to go for another cheap local renting van which he had. May be he doesn’t want to give commissions to u haul and wants to encourage uhaul customers to use other cheap van where he would make more commissions. 2) he forced us to buy the insurance eventhough my friend had a personal insurance. Telling us scary stories. Very unprofessional.

My booking was at 8:00, the store opened until 9:00, I was given the key an hour later than expected and my plans were disturbed. I am expecting a refund for this inconvenience. During my booking the person of the location called me twice rushing me to return the unit because "other client was waiting" I booked for 4 hours and used 4 hours, no more than that, I would like to keep using your services but if I do not receive some kind of compensation I am switching companies, its just not right to loose an hour of my time for nothing.

Had to wait 20 minutes for the store's employee to actually open the store. Super inconvenient and frustrating because we were on a time rush and needed the vehicle at the arranged pick up time. Store itself is super hard to find as there was only a tiny sign in front of the convenience store that indicated it was also part of UHAUL. Likely won't be coming to this location in the future.

This place is unorganized took 1 hour to pick up the cargo van and 1 hour to drop off. There was no line up the people just don't know what the hell they are doing.

I booked on line and reconfirmed with this location. When I went to Pick up the Vehicle I was delayed nearly 1.5 Hours. I had to call the customer service several times to resolve. I requested for two days but u-haul insisted me to return 7.00 A.M on Sunday morning although charged for two days. They have charged for extra for fuel. I returned the Vehicle with the same level, It's been marked on the paper. On Friday when i called U- Haul customer service regarding the delay, they promised me Credit of $ 50.00 Also they didn't give the invoice, because their printer was not working. You could check my receipt on line. I believe the issues will be resolved. Thanks Mangalraj Karuppiah

Ensure there is some one present at the location with the knowledge and ability to dispatch a truck. It took over an hour and multiple calls to U-Haul to get it done. Also equipment was not in the truck. I had to drive to another U-Haul location to get it.

This location stinks for the following reasons: 1. They initially refused to accept the truck saying, "we do not have the parking needed to accept trucks here". 2. I had to show them my receipt that proved that I was instructed to drop off the vehicle at this location! 3. The worker there had to call his boss who then informed me that the workers did not know how to accept rental trucks brought into that location; 4. Even though I took the truck back by 11 a.m. (it was due back by 11:50 a.m.), I still got charged an extra $45.20, as the owner said he would go to the store specifically to accept the truck & from the receipt that they sent me, it says that the truck was dropped off at 2:27 p.m. (I fully expect to be reimbursed the $45.20, as I did NOT return the truck late.) 5. If I do not get a refund, not only will I never use U-Haul, I will be forced to go on-line and complain about the dismal service I received from your company!

Location was remote, the agents computer was acting up and the owner was late. I originally booked a U-haul in Chilliwack a month in advance and was then informed the day before that i would have to travel to Abbotsford, a town that i dont know 70 kms away (return) to pick up a uhaul. The uhaul agent was in an obscure location in the industrial section of town and it took an extra half hour to find it in the pouring rain. If i had known a uhaul was not going to be available in Chilliwack, i would have booked through another company like Budget or NationAL

The man I dealt with at this location was very unprofessional. I called to let him know I would be late picking up the truck, told him I would be there at latest 9:30 am. Had to phone him when I got there because he was gone out. Waited about 15 min for him to arrive back to his office. Didn't get out of there with the truck till almost 10 am. When I returned the truck at about 3:40 pm. I again had to call him on his cell and wait for him to arrive at his office. He then said I was 40 minutes late and tried to charge me for 2 days. I then had to remind him that I didn't take the truck until 9:45 am almost 10 am, and that I was there at 9:30 and he was the one that was late. With a phone call to U-Haul this got fixed. He then charged my credit card, when I told him I was going to pay cash, again I had to wait while he made a phone call to you to get this reveresed. Then they only reversed a portion of the rental. All in all I was very unhappy with his service. Your U-Haul dealership on Matsqui Street in Abbotsford on the other hand is awesome and have gone above and beyond in customer service. site was conjested, truck was dirty and full of blankets, I had to wait until the attendent was able to sweep it out. The windshield leaked into the cab right onto the steering wheel (very dangerous ).
