Our pickup experience was not great, at the first location (not Edison) there was no mobile pickup, which was offered and the time I selected for pickup would require it. Then after changing pickup locations, the new location didn't see our reservation and the only employee who could do the work was not there and took 30 minutes to arrive. He then had to reenter everything I had already filled out online, uhauls fault, not his. Finally our drop off could not be done at the uhaul that was across the street from the storage unit but we had to drive to another location. At that location, the employees were great and it was easy, but overall, the logistics are not as easy as it should be with the technology available. The truck was great, but annoying on both ends.

I wouldn’t recommend UHaul at all!! The day before my rental(that was made weeks in advance)I got a text telling me to get the truck from Edison, Ga. 45 mins away from Albany. People were waiting on me to move. When I called the scheduling lady said, “Albany was just YOUR preferred pickup(not actual). I asked if you had a transfer service to take the truck to Albany like rental cars do. She said NO, So do you want the truck or not. I said yes because you guys have me by the balls, I have no choice in this 10th hour. She then said OK and hung up. First bad experience in all these years of renting. I then had to still go to Albany to pick up the Refrigerator hand truck(I had to watch others pick up their trucks) Albany was friendly and apologetic.
