Can of the truck and back of the truck where dirty. Did not have a dolly or blanks o requested. Found a dolly in the back of the truck. Fuel reading on paperwork was different than the actual fuel reading. Will not go back to this location.

When we picked up the vehicle, we noted some disrepair/damage on the fender, but the person in charge did not care to make a note of it after looking at it. We had to take pictures so that we would not be charged with the damage.

When I rented the truck everything seemed to be fine. The woman in charge and I checked out the truck. The truck had not been swept out. I showed the young lady so it could be noted. When I got into the truck and drove it I ended up. Pulling over. I called the office, asked when the truck was serviced last. She said the day before. Well I was shocked Because the service person didn't do a good job. The brakes were rubbing really bad. Then when I got back to check the truck back in the next day, But I was late getting it back I was told by the night person at the office that there probably wouldn't be an extra charge. But I was charged 88. And some change More. Which I believe was entirely too much.

They are open 24/7 365 for returns or pick ups. Good location and friendly. Would recommend to anyone needing to drop off a Uhaul in the area.

Trailers were parked in the mud and grass, making them difficult to pull out and attach to truck. Additionally, all 6x12 trailers should be equipped with some sort of support stand to make attaching and detaching the trailer easier.

Delivered the auto transport to emerald sands inn as instructed and they did not know anything about me dropping it off there instead of at Old Milltown. They already had one transport sitting there when I drove up.

Went to pick it up not open when supposed to be waited they got there no car hauler when to different place they had one they were verry helpful returned to Jay nobody there nobody answered phone where to call waisted alot of my time scewing around I had a reservation why was there it not there?

Have my reserved truck at my location I reserved it. They said I cancelled my reservation at Davis hwy pensacola and they had no truck in pensacola for me I had to go to Milton and return to Milton.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-haul. I picked a specific location, time, and truck then all 3 were changed on me. Time and truck ok, location I absolutely never would have picked and thankfully I was able to get someone to go with me because I never would have left my car there. That place is a known drug traffic area in our town and recently had a murder there. Then I go to return it and the girl hasn't been trained to do it. She calls the manager who comes in 10 minutes later raising cain and cussing up a storm because she had to come do it since the on call person won't answer their phone. Ok I'd probably be mad too. She then stormed out to check truck, comes back muttering and and says I went 1 mile over the 10 charged and gas is $17 more since I didn't get any. I showed her receipt where I put 10 in giving more than what was in it when I picked it up and just said "fine" on mileage even though it was exactly 10 when I pulled in the lot. Worse experience ever and will NEVER use this location again. Regards Samantha Epley

Everyone that I met in person at U-Haul was very nice and professional. However, I could NEVER get through to a live person when I was trying to call for information. It was clear that most of the Charlotte locations and the national call in number are totally understaffed. This forced me to actually go to the U-Haul location to ask questions. This is unacceptable and I can't recommend U-Haul to anyone because of this. Everything would have been great if you just had a few more live people that could answer the phone.

I called and changed my pickup reservation 1 day early, very clear on the time, when I arrived the reservation had been canceled because they entered the wrong time. I had to pay again to get a trailer. They offered no help hooking it up and no instructions just pointed at the trailer.

The trailer I rented was clean, but moving parts on roll-up door and latch were in serious need of grease or at least some WD40. While I have no particular problems with Emerald Sand Inn, I did have a problem with UHaul Website. We booked the trailer on-line the night before at a place that was listed as being open on Sunday. I got there at the published opening time and found it doesn't open at all on Sundays. Then, my wife learned that UHaul had changed the booking to a different location without bothering to notify us. We finally found out where the book was, and then I learned that none of the information we keyed in on line except name, type of trailer and make and model of the tow vehicle was sent to the new dealer. The end result was that instead of being able to leave on my 6-hr drive at 9:30a,I wasn't able to leave until 10a and then, I had to reschedule the meeting time for my contact at the destination. I'm not real happy with UHaul as a company with this rental experience.

Yes, but I would make certain that they know they are open 24 hours a day. I was told on 2 occasions I had to be there before 1 pm to pick up truck. As we arrived there at a few minutes past 12 noon, we were really surprised our reservation had been presumably bumped. Oh come back at 330 pm and we should have one for you. Why make a reservation if No one can fulfill it for you in a timely manner. Otherwise the truck which we finally got, was in good condition and functioned as it should.

I reserved a car hauler online and when I arrived none was reserved. I booked online for 79 and ended up being charged 119. The 20 ft had something sticky on the floor.

This has nothing to do with the location, but rather the online reservation service. I chose one location and a particular size of truck that the website said was available and even got an email confirmation of it, but the text message confirmation was for a different location. The message didn't say that the location was changed, but just had the address. I didn't realize it until the day I was to pick it up and I put the address into my GPS and was confused. I understand that changes sometimes need to be made, but this should be clarified by the confirmation system. Also, the new location had a different size of a truck, but it worked out for the best because it was larger than I requested. It would've been disastrous if it had been smaller.

Employees were not knowledable about rentals upon purchase when i came in to rent. I actually had to do a reservation on my phone to get the rental.. Also upon returning the trailer the employee didnt know how to put the uhaul back into the system and told me that it could be put in in the morning.. when i asked her if i would be charged for another day she told me that i wouldnt be charged for the extra day so i asked her to ask someone just to be sure, and the person she asked said that i would be charged for an extra day if it wasnt put back into the system. The agent wasnt able to put it back in for lack of training... but lorna came down and assisted with my return and made my return quickly.

Not all equipment I reserved was available at the location I reserved it at through the website. I had to drive across town to get the things I reserved online, like an appliance dolly. And the clerk I tried to turn the truck back in to that night did not know how to operate the system. She asked me to return with the truck in the morning, expecting me to pay the extra mileage and gas because of her ineptitude. This isn't the first time I've had a terrible experience with Uhaul. I may not ever use your company again.

Pick-up location: It was a motel and the front desk lady (or anyone else there) had no clue about U-haul rentals. She just pointed to the direction of the trailer and told me the number on the trailer for me to hook up myself. There were no U-haul people to hook the trailer to my vehicle. They finally called motel maintenance to help hook-up,(who also had no idea). The front desk person was not concerned about writing up damages for my own protection. I had to try two different trailers since the first one wouldn't grab the ball on my truck. Even second one lifted off my truck after they installed and supposedly tightened it down. Hell, I didn't even get a contract from them! I've used U-haul for a long time but refuse to use that location ever again. They were lazy and didn't want to do any more than they had to and they had NO idea what they were doing. That location is a very poor representative of your company and trailers! Very Dissatisfied!!

It would help in the description of the equipment to mention the trailer requires a small 2" ball. Also, the address that was emailed to me for pickup was not correct address. The company name was right, but the address was ~10 miles away.
