The truck was fine and had no issues with the vehicle. I did the online reservation and scheduled for 30 minutes before store opening, which was an option where you electronically pick up/check out the vehicle through the app. The app worked great, but the employees at the location are very rude (as many others have indicated in their reviews). The manager sent me a text 5 hours after my reservation had been made saying the truck would not be ready at the promised time on the following day. I called the location immediately (during business hours) and got voicemail……only to find out the mailbox was full and I couldn’t leave a message. I ended up calling U-Haul directly because the online portal promised a $50 guarantee if they failed to keep the scheduled time. I was transferred to a U-Haul corporate ‘manager’ named Angela and she was so very unprofessional. The good news is after several phone calls and persistency, the truck was there on time and ready as promised. The guy at the pick-up/drop off location clearly hates his job and he doesn’t mind showing it. As long as you don’t mind dealing with rude and unprofessional people, this place is fine. For me, I will find another location in the future and I hope no one reading this ever has to deal with Angela.

The representative that day was not friendly and appeared to not want to be there. He was very short with his answers and when my husband asked him to check if the connection was working correctly, he stated that he really didn’t want to but he would. He stated that he knew everything was working properly but he checked it prior to us coming. Doesn’t your policy state that the connection has to be checked and working properly before we take the hitch? Everything else went smoothly.

Justin and Robert were excellent in communicating fleet availability and pricing and Robert was prompt in getting me hooked up and on the road. The entire transaction was quick and efficient. I highly recommend this location.

So the first whee i reserved iys a milton location i went there then the associate said we don’t hae any cargo van here he said you need to go to another location after tha I went there i paid uber 2 times and waste 2 hours

The rep there refused to help me with check-in and told me to follow directions on the after hour drop box even though it was 2 pm and he was there. The web site was not easy to use because it didn’t recognize my email address and I spent some time before I found that I could checkout by phone number alone and don’t need an account.

Justin was sweet, thoughtful and very efficient and helpful. The UHAUL platform was not working, he patiently walked me through getting the app downloaded and sorting everything out for the check out. I really appreciate Justin’s patience and calm demeanor!

Very rude and mean guy that works there. Just angry and mean! He handled a situation aggressively and rude. He may have had a point but it was lost in the way he handled the situation. As a woman, I felt uncomfortable and patronized.

I faced very difficulty while moving my things as I did not get dolly which I booked earlier. I requested the person who gave me the keys to provide dolly as booked but he also did not cooperated.

Local rep could have been more informative / conversational when I picked up the vehicle. I had to go back to understand how to set the ramp where more information at pickup couldn't have prevented a return trip.

Reserved a dolly for a move. Arrived to pick up truck and was advised no dolly was available. Employee was polite and provided me an extra 50 miles and day of usage. On a tight time frame and had to locate another Uhaul facility to do a day rental for the move work. Second Uhaul location (622 Main St, Milton, GA) allowed me to rent a dolly for the scheduled move the next day (Tuesday, 4/28). This employee was candid and advised that Uhaul does not favor renting dollys' for an out of town move, as the renting facility essentially loses a piece of equipment (in a one-way move) to another Uhaul location. Issue: Renting a dolly for a one way move and not actually providing the dolly. Possible solution: Transparency. Don't advertise renting equipment that you really don't want to end up in another location. Note: I can understand where this would cause logistical problems for Uhaul with equipment ending up in several locations, while other locations have none. The issue was that this truck and equipment was rented 2 weeks in advance and had I been provided advance notice I could have found/brought a dolly. Thanks for your time and looking this over. The personnel at all the locations (pick-up/dolly rental/drop off) were all polite and helpful.

The day I picked up, the young man was very good at explaining everything since I haven’t rented since 1988. Days later when I returned, the middle age guy was also friendly. I had no issues. BTW the radio didn’t work. The location on Hembree rd is 8 minutes from my house. If I ever need to rent a van/truck again, I will go back there and highly recommend to everyone.

At this location? From my experience, nothing at all. The guy running the show (Sunday 3/1) was great from pickup to return, all while helping other customers on both sides of "their day". A+

the location and the person runnning it was totally great. the truck itself was subpar compared to Penske, no backup camera makes this vehicle dangerous to use for most people. The reason for the 3 star review is the app. It was abysmal to use. It crashed on me when trying to secure my vehicle, and wouldn't accept photos which were mandatory to check out the vehicle.
