Improve on your prices in general a dollar and some change per mile is crazy especially with gas prices

This location works toward the ultimate customer service and knows what customer service means! It's concierge, Paddy went beyond the call of what normal Uhaul has been in the past, this was true concierge, the van was waiting for me with a/c on, waters in the cupholders, the supplies in the back, packed in the van properly organized, the gas was full and all ready to go. You just don't get that kind of service anywhere in any business. That's 5 star. Thank you, Uhaul. U-Haul as a business makes things so easy, and I have been doing the evening after-hours pick-ups using the mobile app and getting the code and lock without in store assistance which is so convenient, so U-Haul is the best! (Uhaul can you please upgrade your app portal, it takes 3-4 times to get through and sometimes the after hours uploading photo process doesn't work, I'm always worried that I might be at Uhaul to pick up a truck with the mobile pick up rather than counter and it might not be reliable, it's always a sigh of relief when I finally get through after a few tries, but that's a Uhaul issue not a customer service and will not ding the location for it) I typically take my own photos prior to rental to ensure I'm not responsible for any pre-damage to the vehicle but the upload system in the app doesn't work. But the mobile app convenience is amazing! So far it's always worked after a few tries and LONG wait for the app to move through the process. But this last bit of my move, I needed supplies and needed in-store service, and I'm so happy that I ended up at the Deerfield location! Thank you Paddy! You made a difficult time easier and made my day, it brightened a difficult day, thank you!
HANNAH UYour brand new truck’s gas gauge is not working properly. I drove the van 100 miles and put in 10 gallons of fuel to the point where the van would not take any additional without spilling. I took the van back with what I thought was a full tank and explain the situation, to which a customer who is standing beside me and heard the story, explained.” ram trucks are known for having gauges that don’t record properly.” the owner was standing right there and heard this explanation. I can’t fill up a gas tank more than the gas tank will allow me to fill up. I spent $50 to fill up that gas tank, but the gauge was reading short of full.

The truck was on and air conditioned and two bottles of water were waiting inside for us - which we greatly appreciated! Moving is always hard when you do it yourself, but this Uhaul location made the process easy. Highly recommend!

Michael SThe pick up system needs some work. The app wasn’t working as expected. I couldn’t upload the photo of my license because the app didn’t “focus” on the card. I never had a similar issue before. It didn’t let you upload a file from your phone. Additionally, to call another person to verify that the driver is going to pick up a truck seems a useless requirement. The process overall is good but I spent 1 hour even though it could be a 10 minute process. The drop off in the location doesn’t allow you to park the truck in the parking space and then take the photos. You need to leave it in the middle of the parking lot, get off, take the photos and then park it to the parking space which was annoying.

GUILHERME FIf youre going to offer extra services, like hire movers to help, it should be clear and straightforward. The process was extremely cumbersome. Also, the haul that I rented, the AC did not work and it was a very hot day. I went back to exchange it and the guy working there was extremely rude and giving me all the excuses in the world and with a super condescending attitude, so I left without any service whatsoever. I still got charged a deposit that has not been adjusted yet. On conclusion, this has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had.

karen sI had to clean this unit when picked it. There was a foul smell coming from the middle seat when I started 20 minutes into the drive. Found food and some containers I couldn’t reach. Gas gauge and/or fuel sending unit is reading intermittent, and could leave you stranded. I used the odometer and trip mileage to keep track of fuel use.
