No equipment rental (dolly etc.) even if you pay for it online. This isn't a problem with the pick up location but a fundamental problem with the U-Haul business model.Colin S.

Clean the truck or enforce cleaning when others return equipment. Clear snow from around the truck. Include the additional equipment that was paid for.Joseph H.

I used the 24/7 mobile pick up... Pick up was easy, pictures were given to completely explain where the key was left for me so I didn't have to waste any time looking for it. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fact that it took half an hour of my reserved 6 hours to go through the pick-up check list and instructions. The truck it self was mostly clean, floor in the cab and in the back needed to be swept, but nothing was â€œgrossâ€. Overall, I would rent from this location again.Sabrina H.

I used the mobile app to check in. When I arrived at Filippo's to pick up the truck, I verified which truck I was supposed to pickup and it wasn't clear to me where I was supposed to fetch the keys. I went inside the auto shop and I waited at the counter for 15 minutes to be told that the keys were "in the box." The only box that was plain for me to see was the drop box for the keys when you return the vehicle. The smaller, less evident gray box with the tiny two-inch U-Haul sticker was mounted on the exterior of the left wing of the building. Overall, it took me 30 minutes to pick up the vehicle because I couldn't find the correct box and the shop mechanics were all busy and no one was attending the counter.Tiffany P.
The truck was incredibly dirty on the inside. Dog crap on the floor board. Dog hair all over the seats and floor . I was glad I didn't have allergies to pet dander . I had no choice to take the truck because it was the only one in the lot. Very sad. Truck ran great and was happy to get one the last min.Kim S.

I don't know what you can do other than not use Filippo. I went to get the truck and there were soda cans in the cup holders and dirt, gravel, and some sort of ribbon in the back of the truck. After returning the truck i got a $33. charge from Uhaul for using the truck of course. I also got a $118 charge from Filippo that said truck rental. They told me they don't charge and everything is done through Uhaul site. I've spent 3 hours total on hold today with Uhaul to figure out what this charge is about. I have another truck reserved for tomorrow which I'm considering cancelling now after spending so much time on hold. Not only is this mystery charge a bunch if crap, so is sitting on hold twice for a total of 3 hours.Christopher T.

Try to cut down the smoking to under a pack of cigarettes when customers are picking up equipment.susan S.
The reps there were very accessible by phone for all my questions and were very helpful. The challenge for me as someone with asthma was that the workers were smoking on the premises. It made it very difficult to breathe while trying to complete the necessary paperwork. But I definitely appreciated them always picking up the phone, even on Sunday when I called. My experience with UHaul was very poor. I initially went to the Ellenvile NY location at Ace Hardware and reserved a one way rental. They then quoted me incorrectly for a round trip rental, so I changed my vehicle plans. My reservation was then changed 3 times back and forth between one way and round trip and moved to the Kerhonkson location. I was finally charged for a round trip and was advised I could change it to a one way the next morning after I changed my personal vehicle arrangements to my original plan. It has yet to be changed back after a dozen phone calls, The supervisor in Kingston is particularly unhelpful, unfriendly, and changes his story every time I call. If there were another moving option within a 20 mile radius of me I would never use UHaul again.ERIC H.

The worst. I was told 2 hours b4 pickup that the truck I ordered would not be available and that I would have to take a smaller, less convenient truck. When I got there, the worker refused to help me. He just sat there with a long, foul-smelling cigarillo hanging from his face and yelled at me. After calling U-Haul direct, going through the check-out process over the phone, and handing my phone to the worker so dispatch could speak to him, I was given the keys.JAMES R.
I placed my order a week in advance in Ellenville NY to pick up at 8am. Your organization changed my order to another time and couldn't pick up until 9:30, I was driving to Vermont and had to load the truck, I was delayed by 2 hrs.ROBERTO F.
Awful Customer service on the phone, was told I would not have to pay gas on a one way trip and get an email today that they are charging my card. Please have supervisor call me!
