I could not take a pic of my license and send directly to uhaul. I wish that i could have uploaded a pic from my phone. Thankfully gentleman at food galore helped me. The rental was expensive as i had to drive far to donate a load of items to a kind family in Cloyne Ontario. They've adopted special needs children and rescue animals (landolakes petting farm rescue). I was doing a good deed but it cost me a lot of money for the rental and fuel (over $320!). Too bad there wasn't a special arrangement for long distance moves. Thank you.stephen J.

I'm very dissatisfied! I rented the van for 7:15am last Saturday cause my move in on the building (should had to happen between 9am to 12pm) . I arrived on the store at this time but the store only opened after 8:10am, the guy didn't understood our rush! He made the things slower , we left the store after 8:30am, what mades everything complicated, since we got short time to do the move in, cause other 2 move-in was expected on the building after nine. I would like to have something fair for me , cause this experience wasn't good for me. Thanks and have a good dayMike A.
Key was located inside corner store rather than drop box location, store owner tried to tell me I needed a credit card to finish reservation and told me if I wanted the keys I would have to pay an additional 200$ of I wanted to use my debit... Store owner was very shady...nguyen T.

The check-in process was a bit of a mess - as someone who very rarely rents vehicles, the process of getting everything approved and completed was confusing at times. The website mentioned an app and phone-only check-in, but there was no app that I could see (I just used a web link), and I needed to go inside for the keys and rental furniture pads. That was really not what I was led to expect from your site.Alex S.

Had reserved elsewhere but was directed to this location and while we ended up with our truck, the experience wasn't great and suggest you avoid this location if you can. This is a convenience store that dabbles in real-estate, money transfers and UHauls - so you'll need to lower your expectations. The clerk wasn't wearing a mask when I came in - and didn't put it on. He couldn't find our reservation, despite having called them earlier to confirm. He insisted that they don't carry 15 foot trucks despite there clearly being one outside, and just wouldn't believe me until I went and took a picture of the 15 foot truck and showed him. Didn't have the furniture pads that we had reserved. Didn't give me a copy of my contract by insisted I use my phone to take a picture of his copy. None of these are deal breakers, but are far from an enjoyable or reassuring customer experience!Gregory R.

The move went well and the truck was in good working order however I was somewhat disappointed about the odour of cigarettes inside. This was likely from the last person who rented it before me as the smell was quite strong and my girlfriend and myself suffer from allergies which made driving in the vehicle quite uncomfortable. Further, the window was left open prior to me entering which meant that we had to wait about 25 minutes before we could use the truck as there was a lot of moisture and condensation in the cabin that made it difficult to see through front window. I would not have expected this from a company with as strong a reputation as yours.Michael C.

I did not expect to be at a convenience store to pick up uhaul truck. The person was not welcoming , it took the employee long time to finish the checkout , kept assisting customers that were coming in to shop, while he kept me wait instead of finishing with me. Not a good experience.Hiwet T.

The person running the location does not know how the UHaul system works, refused to call support to figure it out, tried to refuse to rent me the truck three times because he didn't want to figure out how to complete the forms. The only reason I went through with the rental was necessity. It took refusing to go away, and accepting charges that were not mandatory, despite refusing them, to get it done, because he didn't want to figure out how to opt out of the optional insurance. This all on top of him refusing to wear his mask in an enclosed business, during covid, makes this the single worst renting experience I have ever had. Please find a different subcontractor to run a UHaul outlet in the area, because this one is giving the company an extremely bad name.Alan G.

The vehicle was disgusting when we got it - food pieces on the floor, empty bottles and food wrappers in the cubbies. I threw and cleaned up the car but still got charged a cleaning fee- which I thought was very unfair.SHUHE L.

The first location did not have the truck ready, had to call customer service to be sent to another location. Arrived to my appointment 45 min late, I should have received a call to notify me that the truck was not ready... instead of having me drive there and then sent over somewhere else.Wei C.
