Drop off location (the one I had specified in my reservation) was easy.KEVINJ B.
When I made the order, I specifically did not want to pick up the truck through the app and I wanted to be able to speak with a person. When I arrived at the pick up location, I was told that I had to use the app and they did not do an in person pick up. If that is not an option, then it should not be one that you can use on the app. Not only that, but the pickup location was not at the address listed as I was told to pick it up about 3 miles away. When I get there, I go through the app and clicked on the link to pick up and it completely did not work. I had to to call the office that I was just at that told me that I had to use the app. They then told me that they could assist me over the phone and I was able to get the key out of the lock box. I was given a text that I was supposed to fill out at pick up as a pre-check of the vehicle or something like that. I was not able to fill this form out, because when I clicked on it, the link was expired. The link was not in the least easy and I work with computers and programs all day everyday.Steve C.
My original pickup location was greenwood lake, reservation was altered the day before pickup to this location which is 37 miles from my home. The address of the self service is not where the truck is located, actual truck was in car wash about half a mile a way. After I picked up the truck and drove it home I got a call from uhaul asking if I was going to pick up the truck. So advice, tell people where the truck actually is, provide clear instructions on how to pick up the truck from the untended location.John R.

Do not use for 24/7 drop off. The "drop off location" at 52 Jersey Ave in Port Jervis does not have a parking lot or a key drop box. After about 30 minutes of searching the outside of the building and puzzling over the terrible U-Haul app, which was completely unhelpful, we ended up driving around town and getting advice from random citizens of Port Jervis as to where might be a good place in the city to park our truck. Ended up dropping it off at the car wash at 11 W Broome St, which appears to be owned by the same company as the listed "drop off location". Thank you to the Mobil employee who told where to go, who knows how long we would have spent figuring out where to go otherwise. Hopefully we won't get an extra charge for parking in a different location than was listed.Larry M.
The truck wasn't where it was supposed to be i was on the phone for over 2 hours waiting for customer service when i finally got a hold of someone they had no idea why i was being over charged finally i got my code for the box where the key was being kept and it wasn't in the box after around 3 o'clock finally getting ahold of the key i entered the truck to find it filled with dirt which was ironic because the truck was being kept at a car washAdam R.

The truckshare ap sucks!! Words cannot express my disappointment, frustration and outright anger. Took an hour and a half past my pick up time before I finally got the code to get the dang truck. I'm a very unsatisfied customer from that standpointmark I.
Two offices - one at the storage unit and one at the drop off point (which is different than what is listed on the contract as the drop off point). No one in either office despite clearly posted business hours (drop off was approximately noon on a Wednesday). I called the number Uhaul provided for any problems and they seemed surprised when I said no one was in the office/on site ("There is no one there? Hold on, we'll look up where you need to go"). I had to ask a neighboring business if I was in the right place. I only supposed it was right because I saw another Uhaul truck parked. For future drivers, the drop off point is actually Orange St. Car Wash, not the storage unit location listed. Not sure how anyone would know this. Just kind of a strange experience for drop off, I've used Uhaul plenty of times and there has always been someone on site.Paul C.

This isn't about I won't be charged another day cause the key wasn't returned , it was all the aggravation involved , my own truck is down due to repairs that's why I had to rent a uhaul , so I have one car and because I couldn't put the key in the box cause it was to small , it cost me more money then it was worth to rent a truck to drive my wife all the way to work then pick her up just to have a car to drop the dam key off at the office , not worth the rental ! Very disappointed My daughter has to rent a truck to move into my house I think I'll be looking for another company , I got an email that they replaced the key so it will fit now in the drop box , who cares that don't do nothing for me that ship sailed allready with the aggravation cause of a drop box and how a key wouldn't fit in it geeeezNick J.
Horrible rude & insulting customer service who had no clue of the physical address of where to drop the truck off. Got nasty with me cause I couldn't find it. Both times I went to rent and drop off the door was locked and I had to wait for 10+ minutes for someone to answer the door. I only went 14 miles during my move yet the girl was insistent that I went 20! If they can't read their own handwriting or an odometer then they should not be in charge of returns. I will most likely use uhaul again but not from this location!AMANDA B.

First this wasn't our original pick up location but there were no trucks available when they were supposed to be at the milford and matamoras pa locations. so they sent us to Port Jervis.The truck we picked up was absolutely disgusting! It was filthy, there was a crack in the windshield and there were gauges and other damages to the truck! Also, come to find out when we dropped it off today and the drop off location called Port Jervis about the truck condition because it was disgusting. The truck they rented us was never supposed to be rented out because it was supposed to go in for service!! So basically because none of the locations were prepared the way they were supposed to be for our reservation (Milford and Matamoras PA locations) they sent us to Port Jervis and rented us a truck that should have never been rented because they weren't prepared and didn't have the truck we reserved!!! Awful service and we could have been seriously hurt since you rented us a truck that was supposed to be serviced not driven over 100 miles!!!!Kristen D.

We dropped the vehicle off after hours and were uncertain where the lot was. It wasn't at the Jersey Avenue location. Perhaps make a note on your web site as to the vehicle drop location during off hours. Otherwise no problems once we located the lot.TONY F.
