The lock didn't open with the given lock code. Even if it did open, the keys were not inside the lock box. Problems came up and we were not at a uhaul location, this was a share 24/7 location. The app didn't allow me to add pictures of minor truck damage in the beginning. It just bypassed it and continued with truck rental. Upon returning, the app also didn't like any of my odometer pictures, probably due to the tape on the Crack over the odometer. I tried for 30 minutes without luck. Someone had to come out and check the truck in for me. Defeats the whole purpose of a grab-n-go rental.Fatima V.

Truck was extremely dirty. We had to put plastic on the inside of the box on the floor to prevent all the oil and stuff that was on the floor. It smelled like a mechanic shop in the back and made our items smell like that. I'm still trying to get the smell out of our furniture.JAMES B.

There needs to be a better way to convey the information from one of your shops to another. Although we had reserved the truck 16 days before we needed it, we were told to go to a different location. That location couldn't bring up the contract or even find our contract number in the system. Since they couldn't find it, they tried to replicate it, which took about 45 minutes. When they sent the email contract to my phone, it didn't say that we had 750 "free" miles, so, once we had loaded the truck, we had to drive all the way back there to clear that up. No one there would simply write a note on the contract to that effect, so we had to wait for the manager to end a meeting, then wait for his supervisor to leave a training and talk to him over the phone. We lost another hour during that time. Since we were heading to California because of a family death, this inconvenient delay was `emotional and worrisome. There is no reason for your records to not be available and duplicatable at all locations. Also, since we had to pick up out in west Glendale (and go back to question the new contract) and drop off in Peoria, we ended up having to drive extra miles and then went over our allowed miles, paying about ten dollars in extra mileage.Scott S.

I had reserved a transport in Glendale but U-Haul called and said I had to drive way out to Peoria and had to pick it up 5 hours sooner than what I had planned. The people at the dealer were great but it also meant that I was stuck having to drop the trailer off 5 hours earlier than I expected. U-Haul needs to improve their logisitics so customers are not so terribly inconvenienced. Dealer where I picked up the equipment said I would have until five Monday to drop it off but when I received the call from the drop-off office they said I had to drop it off at 1 which was a real hassle.Larry C.
Returned my uhaul 2 days early, they didn't check it in until after my return day and I was charged an extra day. Store hours don't match personnel on-site, uhaul person often not there during open hours. Most staff there are there to work on performance cars.Michael Y.

Very disappointed with the customer service. We returned our vehicle on time but gave never used the app, we thought we would be seeing a live person. By mistake we just dropped the key in the box. Then noticed we had to take pics and stuff. So we were charged but a little mistake. That is horrible customer service, especially during this time. Will NEVER. Use uhaul in the future. I will be making a google/yelp review. Thank youJoseph M.
