The trailer was dirty and they didn't show us how to hook the lights to my vehicle which we ended up stranded at night we called roadside and was on hold for 45 minutes then when the roadside got to me we found out the lights couldn't be hooked up had we known this prior we wouldn't have gotten a trailer then customer service called and said maybe we can get you a hotel for the night let me speak to my supervisor, never heard from the again. It was the worst experience with u haul I have ever had.jill E.

If I reserve a uhaul truck and trailer in Tallahassee, FL, I should not have to drive to a different town to pick up my reservations. Also, it is VERY inconvenient to pick up a truck at one location and a trailer at another location. The employee gave us the wrong information regarding the tow trailer, so we didn't end up using the tow trailer. Please educate your employees on the equipment so customers do not lose money.Celia M.

Company was great and cooperative. Website was a tad not user friendly, i.e., we wanted to rent a car hauler to tow a small john deere tractor but could not reserve online for that purpose. Also, had to call several times before getting an answer.Pamela M.
First of all the pickup point was to be in Chattahoochee, Fla but they didn't have the truck (26' Truck) and had to find one in Quincy, Fla. The customer service person had communication issues and several items didn't convey over - thus the issue with the drop off place being West Columbia when I live in Orangeburg, SC (where I drop it off). The Truck was not cleaned and had blankets all over the truck - overall not a good experience on this request.Ron J.

I was lied to about how much I would be charged. I was told I would get a discount due to the fact that I had to drive from Tallahassee to Quincy to pick up the truck, because the one I had picked from Tallahassee broke down down. I will never use uhaul again and I'll be sure to let my family and friends know how poorly I was treated by uhaul.Lisa W.

Was told the furniture pads that I paid for were in the trailer - they were NOT. The furniture dolly I rented turned out to be a hand truck. Again, not what I ordered. Would recommend but would check everything before I leave (and not send my husband up to do it) and not take guy's word that everything was in the trailer.david C.

The franchisee defrauded me. I was sent to the quincy location after the trailer that was guaranteed to be at the Tallahassee location was unavailable. I told the franchisee at quincy that I had already paid for the trailer, and showed him my receipt. He asked to charge me again, I declined to provide him authorization. After I had left the location, he pulled up my contract and ran my credit card for the trailer again anyway. I never gave him my card, or signed anything. I plan on disputing the charge and contacting the police tomorrow morning.robert H.

Dropped off my trailer, was told it would be turned in the next day and it wasn't. Called customer service twice to let them know what was going on notes were made in my account. Almost three weeks later I was called by U-Haul and a nice lady named Shki helped me out.Joni H.

The people at this location are very rude & nasty. I made my reservation at a different location because I have dealt with him before, but traffic moved it to this jerk. I was charged 2 days but only had equipment for 4-5 hours. So now I have to wait for days to be refunded for the extra day I was charged. I am on disability and don't have money for people like this to just take.. I have called and filed a complaint on this location. They are thieves!!!DENISE C.

We had an appointment for 5:30, arrived at 5:00 and the employee tells me im out of luck because his system is updating and i would have to come back tomorrow. He was able to get the reservation done over the phone but then gave me the wrong truck. To top it off there were roaches and trash in the cab of the truck. We have used Uhaul over 10 times and have never had this issue. Very glad to be moving away from this location so we dont have to use them again.Jason W.
There was trash still in the truck. Staff was not very knowledgeable about uhaul workings. I was never called about uhaul pickup when promised and no offer was made to bring rental to a closer location. If I had not asked for extra mileage to compensate for my trip, I would have been charged extra.herman R.
Uhaul as a company needs to be proactive about informing customers about rental pickups. There is no reason or justification about notifying a customer THE DAY BEFORE THE MOVE that they will have to drive an additional 52 miles round trip just to pick up a moving truck. It was very inconsiderate and the company made me feel like it was my fault that they didn't have trucks in my city after i requested this reservation 2 weeks prior. I WILL NEVER use this company again and I will strongly encourage friends and family not to as well!Michaelya M.

Got changed from Tallahassee to Quincy. Truck rental went from 17 ft to 20 ft to 26 ft !! 26 ft was inconvenient to load at small apartment. But, at least the price stayed the same. Thank you !!Patricia P.
