I reserved a truck in Green Valley AZ. After I drove 2 hrs to the location to move my furniture I was informed no truck was reserved for me. They said the nearest location would be by the Tucson airport. I had to drive 20 miles each way to get the truck. I was told by a girl that worked for Uhaul over the phone that day that they would give me 40 extra free miles. She didn't so I went over my mileage. I checked one other location to see how much it would be and it was $100 more. I was just getting a quote but they booked this additional truck without my authorization. Once I got back to Phoenix I arranged over the phone and a drop off location and to get the mileage credit I was promised. I went to that location and they wouldn't take it. She looked me up in your system and your person haf scheduled me at another location. Then she told me they probably wouldn't take it either but once she looked me up in your system she said she would. Such a terrible experience and such a mess up on your company employees part.SUSAN D.

The Girl at this location re-wrote my contract."after I had already pre-paid and reserved a night earlier..She added in additional charges w/o my consent. When I called the owner he claimed this "happens all the time"Call the 800 no. On your contract." basically they stole from me. Stuffing the reservation with additional add on items that helps their bottom line...I'm currently disputing the charges with my Capitol One. "Shady Business Practices at best..at this location""I advise anyone in Tucson to pick up elsewhere and save your self hours on hold w/Uhaul trying to get the charges re-imbursed..rich M.

The straps on the trailer were just about broken, the rackets were old and need to be replaced or minimum some wd-40. I told them i needed help, i didnt really get it....they charged me for two days but it should've been one. I would recommend this particular location. UHAUL, as a corporation, is continually unresponsive to the needs of their clients. While the independent operators do their very best, the home office continues to make it difficult for them to operate good efficient outposts! SHAME ON YOU UHAUL!!Richard R.

Don't lie to your customers. I specifically stated that I was comparing the cost of the truck/trailer to hiring a shipper. I was quoted 1200 and change. After buying my ticket, flying to Tucson and reserving all my motels for the trip, I get bumped from under 1300 to 1700 dollars. Well you had me over a barrel and there was nothing I could do but pay. I also requested the truck and trailer be ready. I had to wait for them to hook everything up. VERY DISPLEASED !Bob Y.
Again I had to drive 20 miles to this site because the three sites in my town were full. While I was compensated for the drive this time, it was still an inconvenience. U-Haul appears to have a captive market and takes advantage of it's customers.Terrance H.

We were supposed to pick up truck at 10am. Two hours later we finally drove off after I told the old man to another location to bring back to theirs for us. They didn't do a walk around, mileage check, or anything with us. At that point we were upset at having to wait so long so signed and left. (not to mention they told us the night before the pick up that we had to go to a further location to get the truck). When we were on the road, we noticed that there was only a quarter of a tank of gas, not something we wanted to deal with since we were two hours behind schedule. Not to mention the a/c didn't work and it was in mid 90's. Then when truck was returned the next day, they tried to charge us for going over 1,000 miles over what was allotted. Are you freaking kidding me?!???? We drove a little over 200 miles. The manager cleared those charges, but still charged us for going 22 miles over. THAT WAS YOUR FAULT FOR CHANGING PICK UP LOCATION!!!!! Never again!!! I'm so disappointed with this company, will use another from now on! 0 stars!Donna C.

Ensure that you have the vehicle available when you accept the reservation! It's extremely bad customer service to tell a customer who made a reservation â€œthis truck is not availableâ€. I hired movers and made lots of plans that had to be changed due to you. It doubled my moving costs. You suck! Never again will I use U Haul.David L.
Truck smelled of tobacco. Would you like to smell tobacco smoke for a thousand miles? Had to drive 15 miles from nearby Uhaul location to pick up truck. They did take $100 off total, but this impacted schedule. Printer jammed so had to wait 20 minutes for receipt. Again wasted time. Go visit the business, then tell me what you think. This business is primarily a junk store open to the dust of Arizona. Probably not the professional image you would like, let me know how wrong I am.PETER C.

I was also given some discount because the fuel was lower than indicated, yet when I returned it (with more in the tank than expected) I was charged an additional $16.20. I was told I was going to be given a miles disc. since I had to drive it 16 miles more than the estimated 1.5 miles I had intended... because their lots were full. I also put on less than 146 miles and still was charged. Somethings not right and I don't feel i should have been charged.Erika S.
When a customer is calling to advise uhaul has over charged them possibly make it your business and or concern to help the customer get to the bottom of the issue especially when the company has received there money. Passing your customer back and forth with incorrect information is unprofessional and very frustrating for a customer trying to come to a resolve. I will not be using this location or any other uhaul location in the state of Arizona due to my experience.Regina L.

This location was small but efficient and friendly. Met my needs. However, U-Haul failed to honor its Reservation Guarantee. My reservation was originally for the Grant Rd U-Haul store on June 29th. When I arrived for my reservation time & trailer, no trailer was available. U-Haul didn't notify me ahead of time they. Very poor customer care from U-Haul corporate. I will look to other options for future moves.Charles S.

An explanation of your policy about the furniture pads would be NICE!!! If I had understood that 24 pads were going to cost me $20.00 PLUS $200.00 for cleaning, I would NEVER had used them! I could have bought some other pads/material for less AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE USE! The U-Haul pads are barely adequate with their unquilted, non-woven lint construction and I would not buy them for over $9 apiece! This is a major rip-off!!!!!!Donald T.

The National 1800# was inefficient and failed to provide a drop off time. We were left waiting for 45 minutes in 90 degree heat for drop off location to open. Also the drop off location should be determined at time of pick up.Rick M.
