Scott ChadwickLocation was fine. The back of the truck was not swepped from previous renter. The phone pickup process was extremely slow and set us behind 45 min. We had people waiting on us!! It timed out and had to start over the first time. The second time it would not approve. We sent 3 messages and they were unanswered , made a call to U-Haul where we were transferred to another department that had a 15-20 min wait time. Meanwhile someone answered my message and then it was approved. I will not rent again unless the place I’m picking up is open.
Daniel CrouseWell the truck I had was missing a gas cap, the truck wasn’t cleaned on the outside and the drivers side floor board was dirty. I didn’t receive my moving blankets as asked for. Not a great experience and will not rent of there again.

Corey RoosThe truck was very dirty inside and not well maintained at all. It is super old and probably needs to be replaced anyway but being dirty didn’t make it any better. The staff was very kind and helpful though and I like doing business with them. The following comment is not specific to this particular location since they can’t control what UHaul’s business model is. When booking on UHaul website, pricing is not transparent. Even though it requires the customer to estimate hours and miles, it’s not calculated in the total due and then you end up with a much larger surprise bill at the time you check in and receive the contract. Without an unlimited miles option, this isn’t all that cost effective and the $19.95 rental fee that’s advertised is deceiving and never the actual cost.

STEVE SNOWYou charged me $190 because I dropped it off a few miles away from where i picked it up because I was tired. $190. Most moves are a lot further than a few miles. If i moved to Arizona was i still expected to bring it back to WV??? Will never use Uhaul again for moving.

MICHAEL MIGLIACCIOWhen I made this reservation I CALLED the main number online and specifically requested a 15' truck. When I checked on my reservation a couple days before I was told they had put me down for a cargo van. This is the SECOND TIME that has happened and I'm tired of it. When someone says what they need that doesn't mean change it. If they don't have that vehicle then grant us the professional courtesy to tell us. DON'T JUST CHANGE IT!!!
DENISE FRANCES PALMIn the past I have rented U-Haul's all over the country... This was my worst experience yet. The vehicle was filthy. I think the previous renter had been a German Shepherd. There was pet hair, trash, mud, and food crumbs all throughout the cab and there had been no attempt to clean the vehicle or get it ready for the next renter. There was no gas in the vehicle and it had a low rear tire. The vehicle looked like it had not been washed in months and the drivers door did not seal well so there was a bad air leak while driving. I had used the "24/7 Truck Share" for a contactless rental which did not work so I had to do it in the office. The guy that helped me was fine but the person I would guess was the owner seemed to have a bad attitude and was kind of rude to me and other customers. I will never use this location again.

Kevin MillerOnly needed a tow dolly, salesman pushed way to hard to up grade to a trailer which would not work for what i needed to do (dead car would not start or run, easier for me to push it on to a dolly than try to get it up on a trailer)...Picked up dolly at close of business Thursday dropped Friday off night around 8pm (after closing) charged for 3 days at 9am Saturday morning...While towing my car one of the pins that hold the ramps in place fell off causeing the ramp to drag on the highway... I was told I would be charged 1 day, not happy with your dealer or his equipment. ..

Shawn BonifantI reserved a uhaul for a Saturday along with furniture pads and NO Safe Move insurance. I called and informed them that I would also need the equipment on Sunday. Was told i could drop off anytime on Sunday. Prior to taking possession of uhaul i photographed the inside of the vehicle which had mud on floor boards on both sides of truck. Submitted pics to them through the site. Sunday I dropped off vehicle with furniture pads. I called Monday to verify my final bill. I was told that the amount was $72 and some change that was already authorized on my card. I said but I kept the uhaul another day. Was asked when I dropped off. I stated Sunday. He said well that is what was authorized. I took that as, based on what he said, that all I owed was $72 and change and that they already received from my card. I then get an email on May 2, 2023 with a bill attached stating they were charging me $165 and change. They applied 2 days worth of Safe move ($28) and a cleaning fee ($25) to my bill. My bill should have been, including the extra day and 18 miles of driving, approximately $105 not including tax. After chewing the representative out for their incompetence, my bill was finally adjusted to approx $112. I returned the vehicle in the condition it was given to me with the exception that I put in more gas than I burned. So not only are they ripping people off with Safe Move (pay attention, they slip that in on you when you aren't looking) they rip you off on getting extra gas that they do not have to pay for. My tank was a smidge over 1/2 and I returned it with 5/8. How can one determine how much gas was burned and how much to actually put back in? Uhaul and Movinghelp.com is pretty much worthless. I will be using the Uhaul on Shawley Drive in Hagerstown, MD when and if I need a Uhaul.

FRANK SPIKERThey stated in the receipt (that I received in my email) that I didn't put gas in the vehicle, dropped it off late. When in fact, I dropped it off early and thank god I took pictures of the gas gauge before leaving it. The lot is small and there were to many vehicles on the lot, it made it difficult for people coming in and out.

Lucas EckersonThey had two tow dollies. There were broken lights on both of them. Fortunately I brought my own lights as a backup. But on the tow dolly I took, the brakes did not work at all. It seems you need to take better care of your equipment, lights are very easy to check.
