Pamela Cthis review is not against this location but how U-Haul operates as a whole. i made my reservation 2 weeks in advance and i chose the location in Millington, MD because i had a storage unit there. For 2 weeks you guys sent texts, emails and phone calls about helping you move storage containers by adding a trailer and taking to where i was going. I politely turn down those offers because it would require me to deviate from my planned route. we less than 24hrs notice i get emails and text saying my pickup location is now in Smyrna, DE 30 miles east of where I NEEDED TO BE. All was offer was an 30 additional miles. during my trip every time i started the engine it was a crap shoot as to where the starter would give out. So, to answer to the question on how to improve, you need to offer credits more than measly 30 miles. when people ask me if i would recommend U-haul the answer is Nope, never, nata

Cathy SI have used this location before and love it because it's so easy to park in the spacious lot. I arrived after the store had closed so I just used the app check-out and the key dropbox. So convenient and simple, my favorite dropoff place in Smyrna.
MELANIE BI had to climb over snow and ice to get the truck. The trucks are parked behind the building where there is no lighting for those that return the trucks after dark. I felt very unsafe. Then I had to take all those pictures which I think is not necessary. After I parked the truck I had to go back around front to drop the key in the drop box.
KELLEY PProbably not charge for mileage when U-Haul calculated it incorrectly. Now that’s just silly. I didn’t stop anywhere extra except to get gas. Your system is off. Probably try someone else next time.

BRIANA Hwas abke to add an extra day vis ph to Cus Ser & that allowed us the proper timing needed to get all our 18 yrs out of our very oveestuffed townhouse far south to Georgetown, DE, but it' like a mansion due to the location & size & are/ Thank you for being such great company & we'll be using you againin August when we move my parents from Wilmington to Georgetown.

Philip AThe communication between the app and the store was atrocious. I booked a reservation and the store said there was miscommunication and double booking but if you were doing your job, you would know that after one is reserved. It’s taking off the app will show you the next qualifying location for whatever rental you were using. I had to pay double the amount for less than 20 hours For the rental it wasn’t worth it and on top of that the app to return the truck did not work so they charge you a $20 inconvenience fee. Altogether the U-Haul cost $214 and some change for four hours.
Avante HMy experience was absolutely horrible. For someone who has never rented a Uhaul, they do not make it easy at all! They did not specify that you are supposed to get the key out of the back of the truck…they show you a picture of the drop box where you return the key and I assumed that is where you got the key…because there was no instructions on how to retrieve the key. After trying to unlock that box for 15 minutes I got extremely frustrated and looked at reviews that helped me manage to get into the truck. Then I got overcharged for miles that I did not travel…overall I am simply going to avoid ever using a Uhaul again…ridiculous!
MiKayla HArea is dark where you pick up trucks. There was no indication the lock was on the back of truck for key. Listing that in the instructions would have saved time. The truck had been in an accident, the bumper was messed up as well as the front of the door not closing. It served out purpose.
THOMAS TI was home by 9:30 in a zoom meeting and they checked my uhaul in at 9:30 and charged me for an additional full day. Very dishonest. I had the vehicle less than 24 hrs
