Philip AThe communication between the app and the store was atrocious. I booked a reservation and the store said there was miscommunication and double booking but if you were doing your job, you would know that after one is reserved. It’s taking off the app will show you the next qualifying location for whatever rental you were using. I had to pay double the amount for less than 20 hours For the rental it wasn’t worth it and on top of that the app to return the truck did not work so they charge you a $20 inconvenience fee. Altogether the U-Haul cost $214 and some change for four hours.
Avante HMy experience was absolutely horrible. For someone who has never rented a Uhaul, they do not make it easy at all! They did not specify that you are supposed to get the key out of the back of the truck…they show you a picture of the drop box where you return the key and I assumed that is where you got the key…because there was no instructions on how to retrieve the key. After trying to unlock that box for 15 minutes I got extremely frustrated and looked at reviews that helped me manage to get into the truck. Then I got overcharged for miles that I did not travel…overall I am simply going to avoid ever using a Uhaul again…ridiculous!
MiKayla HArea is dark where you pick up trucks. There was no indication the lock was on the back of truck for key. Listing that in the instructions would have saved time. The truck had been in an accident, the bumper was messed up as well as the front of the door not closing. It served out purpose.
THOMAS TI was home by 9:30 in a zoom meeting and they checked my uhaul in at 9:30 and charged me for an additional full day. Very dishonest. I had the vehicle less than 24 hrs
