BARRY KTruck was not clean. And rented an appliance dolly that I was later told the shop doesn’t carry any so wasted money on that and there was no ramp in the truck very difficult moving a washer and dryer . Disappointed in my choice .

JoAnn RThe truck overheated regularly, regardless of idling efforts and turning the heat on full blast to. Draw the heat off the engine, resulting in a loss of significant power, which was not helpful on the trip on Texas highways and freeways.where the speed limit is 70+, I found myself dangerously slow at 40mph. The axle rattled fiercely before and after loading. The brakes also were quite squishy, requiring me to keep significant distance between me and the vehicle in front of me. As well, I'm shorter than most adult women so not having and adjustable seat was challenging; however, the owner was very apologetic and understanding of my concerns. He advised that prior renters had not commented on the vehicle's performance. The location was convenient and the owner made efforts to correct the issues, amending my bill for the trouble.

STEPHANIE MThey are charging me an extra $48 saying that I did not replace the gas, when I absolutely did and have pictures to prove it. They are also charging me an extra $20 fee for returning it after hours when that Was not stated to me when picking up the vehicle. If that Was case I would have returned it by 7pm. I will be contacting the BBB because this is outrageous!

Christopher VHave better customer service representatives. I hate to be one to complain but it was bothering me this Morning while trying to get breakfast and this truck with my little one. It was quite obvious they were agitated, impatient and getting frustrated with maybe being up early for work or me calling as soon as it hit operating hours. Not just them but the initial Location I reserved from on Dezavala in San Antonio was ridiculous and judging by the reviews it continues to be. First off their store hours are no where near what they read online and on top of that I don’t believe they have a mobile pickup when stating they did. Wasted two whole hours feeling like a chicken without a head. One of the reps got it handled but two out of the three maybe I spoke with it was clear as day the tone was giving irritated and unenthusiastic. I have always used U-Hauls in the past and love the business which is why I always rent With your company but this experience was wild & causing me to become rude back. Thank you for your time and help with my move, I never can do it with U-Haul
Matthew ATruck was not ready at the scheduled time.. Waited over 1&1/2 hours still no truck. they gave me a van instead. Too small for my needs and had to make additional trips to get everything moved and costed me more money. Goin Postal did everything they could to get me my truck.

Geraldo GThe truck had multiple problems. Broken visors. The seat adjustment bar was jammed and I could barely reach pedals. Ive driven these before w/o issue for2 decades. They also used armorall on the floor mats, so if your foot toiched it, be careful on the pedals. The business was easy to deal with, but vehicles arent maintained. Got it with low tire pressure, damn near flat. Would probably goto a direct uhaul dealer next time ..this was just convenient, but you get what you pay for. But the staff was super cool and relaxed, so its a toss up. Back smelled like death had been hauled...or ancient funiture.
Cara MI loved using U-Haul but the charges were outrageous especially being that I filled up the fuel tank myself. If I would’ve known it would be that much I would’ve just hired a moving company. Will not be using again.
Mark MImprove customer service skills which involves communicating to the customer verbally. Ensure that your customer understands the process of renting a U-Haul from start to finish. Especially when it comes to pricing.

Tamra NWhen we arrived to pickup, there were 2 people behind the counter. One was helping a customer and the other ignored us and then answered the phone. When the person before us left, and we stated what we needed we were directed to the person who had been studiouslyavpiding eye contact. I found that to be a rather rude way of handling things. At least acknowledge we are there with a "be right with you" or something. And definitely don't answer phones and avoid eye contact if you have a specialized task, at least ask "are you here to pickup a uhaul?" And if the customer says no, then you let them know the other associate will be able to assist them.
Diana VEven though I told the attendant I put gas in the truck and left the receipt showing I put 1.7gallons in the tank. (I drove less than 12 miles). I was still charged 11 dollars for gas.
