Clerk did not want to address an issue I had with billing. When ordering online, I clicked on â€œNoâ€ for the Safe Protection insurance coverage, but when I picked it up I was charged the extra $28.00. He said I had to call a number to get it credited. The mobile app was a bit confusing, slow to respond, and, given the number of steps involved, I'm not sure it actually saved time vs. going into the rental facility and doing things the old fashioned way. The rental facility was fine (it is a gas station), but the attendant seemed unfamiliar with the mobile app and "truckshare" concept - she was very hesitant to hand over the key to the truck.Ty M.

It was fine except you don't give hard copy receipts and my bill was $59.51 and my card was charged $69.62. That's $10.11 difference. I wanna know when that 10.11 will be put back on my card? I don't appreciate this! Is this why you don't give your customer a real receipt but instead send to my email. Not cool. Why don't you put your business phone number with your location?Jeanie M.
I asked for a dolly when I made the reservation and there was not one in the truck. This location was a gas station and stated they do not have dollies or furniture blankets. They also are attempting to charge me again and will not answer their phone so I can tell them about it. They charged me $71.34 when I returned it and now there is a $65.32 charge pending on my account today. I have tried to call Uhaul customer service several times and have been on hold for 20 minutes and longer without speaking to anyone.SHERRI L.
The owner that I dealt with was great to start. I was told to bring the vehicle back full as it was â€œfullâ€ when I picked it up. When I returned the vehicle I put nearly 6 gallons of fuel in a ford E 350 van 15 ft box truck. I traveled 18 total miles for my rental. When I asked him about the discrepancy, the owner stated it was a â€œ big truckâ€. There is no way possible that this vehicle gets 3 miles to the gallon. When I asked him again about the discrepancy, he handed me the receipt for the rental and said â€œ have a nice day.â€. Very disappointed and I will not return for any kind business at this location. I will go To the other location down the street or push my vehicle another 3 miles to another service station. Do not use this location. Drive a little further south and try them out.Joshua C.

I had a terrible experience. I reserved a truck online for orders road location, when i got there i didnt realize the truck i reserved was so small, so i asked the attendant to change the size. He kind of gave me the run around and then said that i could go down the street and ill transfer your request to that location. I went down the street to 4441 broadway and when i got there they said they didnt know i was coming, didnt get a call and didnt have a truck available. I then went back to the orders road location to find out if he actually put in a call to them and he said he did. He them got on the phone with uhaul support and told me to stay on the phone with them till i went back down the street. I walked in once again and they said they didnt have any trucks. Then the girl from uhaul support i was on the phone with asked me to pass my phone ti them. She was able to straighten everything out for me but all of that took an hour and a half. I shouldnt have had to go both locations twice, and for the rental, im going to want a discount.Duane C.

A) I asked for no insurance when making the reservation online, but the location's information shows that I opted into insurance. B) This uhaul apparently allows smoking, which is fine, but it would be nice if the ashtray was cleaned afterwards. C) The employees at this location weren't rude, but they weren't exactly congenial either.Matthew G.
The easy pickup didn't seem to work as the guy asked for a lot of information and my credit card which I already gave online. and the no waiting in line would not have worked either at this location. So these retailers need to get on board with what you are doing online.David K.

The only thing about this location is that it is a little confusing that you have to go into the gas station to pick up your rental. It should be made more clear on the official U-Haul site that this is some sort of "franchise" or off-shoot of U-Haul, and while it is "official," if you were unfamiliar with that type of set-up, it would seem a bit sketchy and unsafe. Otherwise, great service and good quality.ASHLY P.
I called two days ago to verify the 10ft truck I rent had a ramp. I was told "yes, all of our trucks have ramps" (or something a long those lines). I picked it up today, no ramp. The lady I spoke to today was VERY helpful. She found me a bigger truck for today so I didn't have to reschedule my move. She also gave it to me for the price of a 10ft truck. HOWEVER, when I got back to the truck pick up place, the man from uhaul (on the phone with the gas station owner) tried to tell me it was going to be $29.95. Only did he give me the $19.95 price AFTER I told him I would call customer service back and have them pull all the phone call I just had with the nice lady 10 minutes prior. The truck was great, the pick up location people were great, the lady I spoke to today to get help was great...but whoever I spoke to on the phone at gas station and a couple days ago need some help.ALYSSA C.
This location was fine BUT.....I've been a loyal U Haul customer for years, you can check your records just in the last 3-4 years alone. I made my reservation for the location on Georgesville Rd the same place we've been using for the last 15 months. When I arrived at 8:35am on Sat Sept 2, and waiting for 20 mins, they didn't have a truck and stated the "corporate" office tried to call you at 614-549-0375 and it was disconnected, NOT, this is my current cell phone always on....they never tried to call me. I was sent to another location in Grove City, and they had many issues with the reservation, computer problems and had to get another location/Corporate office involved. The bottom line is from the time I arrive at the first location at 8:35am until I finally was in a truck it was 1 hour and 50 mins, seriously this isn't good customer service, very disappointed. I had (2) moving people waiting on me for a hour which cost me $75 per hour, that bI paid to be standing around waiting on me to get the truck to the location where I was moving my personal belongings. If nothing else I truly feel I should be compensated for the cost of the movers waiting on me. The normal check in to pick up a truck has never taken over 30 mins., but 110 minutes is definitely excessive. Please call me to discuss or I'll be calling the corporate U Haul office. You can't tell that this is a location that rents uhauls as there is no indication other than the three trucks parked behind the gas station. The owner/worker of the gas station was very confused it seemed of the whole process and wasn't able to find my reservation on the computer so I had to recheck in. I will never rent from U Haul again for the following reasons: What is the $28.00 safe move charge? This was never explained to me. I was supposed to pick up the truck in Ashland, Ohio. A representative from U Haul called me Saturday night and informed that the truck will not be available in Ashland and I was supposed to pick it up in Burbank, Ohio. I was under the impression that I had unlimited miles. Later found out I was limited to 107 miles. I was never informed of this and how was this this mileage determined? I was charged an additional 19 miles for overage and charged $8.17. Ironically the mileage from Ashland to Burbank. Very disappointed with U Haul! Never again! When I called to find the location the guy was talking to someone else and told me to wait, inturrupted me 5 or 6 times. Got in the truck slammed on the gas tires smoking then slammed on the breaks and raced it in reverse almost running it into a fence. When I arrived to get the truck that I reserved more than a week ago along with an appliance dolly to have until 6 p.m., I kept having to wait while he took care of other customers. He then said he didn't have an appliance dolly. When I finally got the truck, the employee told me the estimate was for 2 days and as long as I brought the truck back by 6 pm I would have to only pay 1/2 of what was estimated since I was only going to have for a few hours. I returned the truck at 3:11 p.m. There was a different employee there and he said he didn't know how to fix it so "too bad so sad, nothing he could do". I was there for more than 1/2 hour trying to get the truck returned. He kept making me wait while he took care of other customers. He said I would have to pay the full estimated cost and then if I had a problem with it, I could call UHaul directly. When I got home, I looked for the number and could not find on the paperwork. I called the store and was given a number to call. I spoke to "Jeremy" who gave me another number and told me to file a complaint and he would take care of it on Monday morning. Very poor service. Don't know the names of either employee as they do not wear name badges. Very disappointed. I thought by reserving early and doing everything on line as it said it was time saving everything would go smoothly. Not so. I had the truck 3 1/2 hours. I was doing the paperwork at 11:30 a.m. and returned the truck with a full tank of gas at 3:10 p.m. I only drove it a total of 9 miles. Hope I hear from someone Monday and my money is refunded. Can't believe I was charged double because the guy didn't know how to fix it.LAURA C.

This location is a Mobil gas station and convenience store. It was manned by one gentleman to handle the gas pumps, conveniences tore customers and U-Haul customers. In trying to complete my paperwork for the trailer I had rented, 9 customers from the convenience store interrupted the completion of my contract even though I was in the store before they had entered. I rented furniture pads which were thrown out the back door in a wad, and I had to hook up and wire my own trailer, the attendant was too busy with operation of the store. I didn't think this was U-Haul standard policy and it surely opens them up to significant liability. They really ought look into the operation of this store. It is not up to par by any means.David S.

I had filled this truck up and told them that the pump had clicked twice before I had hung up the gas pump and gone inside to return the key. The two station attendants were both very rude and disrespectful I walked out with the gentleman to check the gas gauge and he was blaring music on his phone and swung open the door into a protection pillar and I told him I am not going to be charged if you damaged the door. After that he was even more disrespectful to me. We go inside and they tell me the gas tank is not full it is on the line but not full covering it. The vehicle was an older Ford chassis one which I am very familiar with it has a tendency to have a slow gas gauge and they told me time after time it was not full I pulled my card back out and put a little bit over a dollar almost overflowing this truck and the guy hears the pump click and then realizes that he has disrespected me by calling me a liar and apologizes I have never had such an awful experience and I hope they are stripped of the u-haul license as other people I have informed of this have similar stories. I will NEVER return to this sad establishment that treats their customers like garbage.Brandon G.

There was a road closure preventing me to getting to the site. I called twice to get directions and the individual could not properly direct me so I was late arriving. When preparing the paperwork I was asked estimated number of miles to where I was going; the person did not take in consideration that the miles should be double so I had to be charged again. I was not directed to where the trucks were kept and when given the key, I looked for the truck assigned, but there was not one there that matched the key. I went back inside to ask the person to please direct me to the truck and found out the truck that was assigned was not the number on the key. Had to figure out on my own how to open the back of the truck. I've used U-Haul before and have had pleasant experiences. Will not use this location again if the need arises.Deborah F.
There is nothing that shows the name given on the uhaul website at the location. (Grove city petroleum) there is also a very very small uhaul sign on the window that indicates it is a uhaul location. That is the only complaint I have. I wasnt for sure I was in the right place so I drove around looking for the name given.Robin M.
