Thank you to the staff (especially Melissa) at this location for being extremely professional and willing to go above and beyond to correct a horrible experience at the pick up location. The area field manager (Scott) became involved and was very helpful and prompt and I was able to recoup monies charged for damages that were clearly not incurred during my 2 hour possession of the truck. I would highly recommend using this location for your rental needs.

Okay so the only good part was the lady who worked in Hanover that is it everything else was bullshit your head office is filled with a bunch of ignorant cunts hanging up and transferring my calls your online system is utter bullshit if I reserve a truck it best fucking be there not wait tell last second to tell me it may or may not be your prices are a fucking lie your site says one thing then it's double at the location your attempt to make me drop it off almost two hours from my location when ybrte was one fifteen minutes away is a joke more so when it would of gone over the mileage you yourself set giving it to me at a quarter tank of gas is bullshit and when I fucking reserve for nine am best be that time not fucking four pm your company is a joke and I will never use Uhaul again I will tell anyone I know to never use your fucked up joke of a business

The reservation process this year was absolutely aweful. I reserved 5 weeks before needing it and then 2 weeks later am told that I the reservation won't be honored. It was then changed 4 different times. Had it not been for the lady at the local U-Haul working so hard to make sure that we had a trailer I would not ever recommend Uhaul. YOUR LOCAL REGISTRY IS TERRIBLE!!

I was offered a discount to drop off at a different location but the system seemed to screw up and I got the discount to drop off at a different location but the destination didn't update correctly. Clearly an issue within your system because the uhaul personal were not at all surprised that this happened

The trailer I rented was suppose to be 5x8 but the inside wasn't 5ft n I wasn't about to haul what I needed to and have to pay still n drive hm to get a trk.

I think the prices for one way rental are to high. But maybe that is just me. Retirees do not have high income and this stresses our finances.

Only issue i had was with the drop off. The location was closed and thus made it a bit of an issue. The after hours drop off box suggested we need to use the U-haul app or the website to complete the drop off. Neither of which was working. Could not get past the mileage image. Spent 45 min on the phone only to be told that we did not need to do any of that . Simply drop the keys in the box and go. The email i got with the contract info said the same and thus was super confusing and annoying to do this. The site either needs some updating with the returns information or the app needs to be fixed. Also if keys simply need to go in the box, maybe have a message broadcast as part of the on hold info rather than constantly being told to share my trip or rate my experience. I'm not looking for a refund but even a simple I'm sorry for the inconvenience would be appreciated. This isn't a targeted angry message just a disappointed customer who will now have an opinion of U-haul whenever asked. Thanks for reading and I hope you have a good day.

Since the Mile Out was not corrected therefore the drop off location also put the incorrect Mile Out, however the Mile In and gas reading were correct.

We had a problem with our truck in Kincardine and didn’t want to even think about going back there so we had to drive a borrowed vehicle to drive to Hanover to rent a Uhaul truck.

I was told by the Hanover Ontario U Haul dealer that I could drop the rental truck off at a gas station in Tara, when I was finished with it. The gas station in Tara does NOT accept U Haul rental truck returns. They used to, but they no longer rent U Haul trucks. I then had to drive all the way over to Chatsworth Ontario to return it, at added fuel expense.

The truck cab access was appalling. My partner injured herself while exiting the cab. The step is just too high. An extra step or running board would solve the problem and prevent further injuries.
