It took over an hour to pick up our equipment due to issues with their computer and tablet. Then when everything was finally ready they just pointed out a window at our truck and told us where to go to find our auto transport. No assistance with the trailer or instructions on its use. Luckily we had already used an auto transport a couple of months before and knew how to connect it to the trailer and load our vehicle.LORI M.

Truck was good. We were charged for 25 mile extra, even though the company figured the trip. No responce or refund for the extra fuel we left the truck. Had to drive 70 miles round trip to return the truck.. seems to nickel and dime the customer to death. Over all, a good trip.Jerry R.
We were charged an extra 26.06 which was not on the completed invoice. I tried to settle this with Hoppy's in colville, Wa to no avail. The first young lady was very nice; however, the next, older lady, was very nasty to me. Finally, she informed me that they did not generate this and to call UHaul, which I did. Ruth at UHaul very kindly explained this as a hold, said it would disappear from my account. Now, why couldn't the woman at Hoppy's nicely do the same???karen R.

The staff needs to be trained on how to use the computer to do U-Haul transactions. Took almost an hour and 5 attempts till they figured it out. The equipment needs to be inspected before renting it out. The car dolly I rented had a bad tire strap that was almost worn through on one side, not safe at all for hauling a vehicle. This was my first and most likely my last experience renting from U-haul.Chris K.

We asked if they were going to do a walk around before we took the truck and we were told they did not do that at this location. We were scheduled to pick up the truck at a different location but they were closed when we got there and had to be diverted to the new location 20 miles further.Wesley N.

Train your personnel, tell them it's inappropriate to bad mouth other stores. When a customer rents a truck at one location make sure you see to it that the truck is at that location or inform the customer otherwise before the day of pick-up. That is bad customer relations! Train personnel to take responsibility for their own mistakes. Honesty is always the best policy. Lucky for me the tow truck driver came back to the store & started over with what should have been a short application process & ended a 3 hour nightmare to rent a 26' one way truck that had been reserved in Colville 2 wks ago! I rented a truck and car trailer. I learned when dropping off the trailer that the car was not secured properly. It was not chained on the trailer at all, only on with the wheel harnesses, and those were not seated properly so that one slipped off entirely. The trailer was also damaged near the hitch and the Uhaul tech, Bob at the dropoff location said it shouldn't have been rented to me in that condition. He will be requesting service on it. Train your people, service your equipment! This is the second time Uhaul has disappointed me, my last 2 times using you guys. Quality used to be great at Uhaul. What happened? Bob at the dropoff location was terrific, but then again he's apparently been in the business a long time, from when pride in good work and quality service still meant something!Laura F.

Truck lost a wheel bearing in the front end. Took 7 hours to get on the road again. Replacement truck had steering so badly worn I sideswiped a tree. "Service pro" drove 5 mph around snoqulamie pass truck and said it was fine. Could get no help after that until 3 near accidents at freeway speed including defending my self at a rest stop from a violent angry man who thought I tried to run him off the road. I ALMOST DIED YOU STUPID IRRESPONSIBLE FUCKING ASSHOLES. TRY DOING MAINTENANCE ON YOUR TRUCKS BEFORE YOU KILL SOMEONE. I CAN'T WAIT TO BE A EITNESS FOR THE PLAINTIFFS WHEN THAT HAPPENS. After I paid over $400 for a one-way move, and chose a return location a mile from my house, I received a phone call from a rude woman telling me I had to drive 30 more miles to return the truck in another town. Of course, my wife also had to drive those 30 miles in our car to pick me up and bring me home after the drop-off. That's just not right. I'll remember this the next time I need a truck.Bill W.
The computer didn't work so that I could get a receipt. I waited for over a half hour before I was told I couldn't get a receipt. I was told everything was fine with the truck so I had the attendant sign that the return was accepted. Then after all of that I was charged $25 for cleaning the truck after I left. Part way through the trip the engine light cane on and stayed on. We contacted the service tech and he said go ahead and drive it if we felt comfortable. We drove to our destination without any further trouble. The truck was clean. The representative at our pick up location was very thorough and helpful, very kind.julie C.

They rented me the wrong tow dolly. It was an old one and to big almost didnt get my car on it and the tail light was falling out of it . I was there a very long time. He couldnt pull up my papper work and it seamed mayby he was new at this. Not sure. He hooked it up but didnt plug the lights in and check them. When i go home i checked them and one didnt blink after fooling around with them i got them to work. I put a screw in the light so i wouldnt loose itGeorge G.
I made a reservation in Chewelah 3 weeks in advance to pick up a trailer. Two days before pickup they told me I would have to go to Colville to pick up and return. This cost me an extra day and more mileage on my truck. The pickup was to be Chewelah. Not happy about paying for an extra day, more time to go and pick up and take back and the extra gas.Gerald E.

The computer system was causing difficulties for the staff and caused a delay in our pick-up. Staff handled the problem well but the delay was frustrating to us.Sherrie M.
Make sure the 800 number (main U-Haul office?) and the locals communicate better. I had a reservation for a truck in Colville and was forced to drive several miles to Arden one stop to pick it up because communication failed between the office and local location provider or whatever you call them. Spoke to people from both locations and they are aware that the main office does not communicate with locals very good so in future i will call the local places instead of going through the main office. Also after filling the tank to where it was before i left i was still asked to pay an additional 5.00+ bucks for what? The person i spoke to could not figure it out either!william H.

The service was extremely slow and we were not told that we had to return the turn to the Hoppy location. We dropped it off at the Colville location on Columbia and were told that we could not and if we left it in Colville we would be charged more. We had to drive it back to Arden and were told that we could have left it in Colville. It was confusing and the people did not know what they were doing. The management in the Colville location on Columbia was rude and disrespectful.Eileen R.

The cab smelled like an ashtray. It was filthy inside with cigarette ashes on every surface. Mud splashed on mirrors and sides and rear of the truck.patty M.
Worst experience of my life. Did the reservation and precheck in 4 days prior. Showed up to find they didn't have the uhaul I reserved, waited over an hour to pay double what I was quoted. Then walking out to review the uhaul the wind started blowing and I asked to sit in the truck because I was cold. The guy from uhaul stated it wouldn't be an issue if I wasn't wearing skin tight leggings. I ended up having no help moving due to taking over an hour just to pick up the uhaul. Then I called in and talked to a lady about my experience and she stated she filed a complaint and I would hear back in 3 days. I ended up calling due to a different charge 3 days later and found out the complaint was never filed!! Will never use uhaul again aside from being lied to and sexually harassed this is beyond the worst experience.Benjamin M.

Picked up a trailer for a local rental and returned the trailer within the 24 hr time frame. The dealer did not check the trailer in until the following day, so I was charged an additional day. When I inquired about the extra charge I was told by the dealer that there wasn't anything they could do for me. Not the customer service I expected or have experienced in the past from other dealers.RUDY R.
