While the location renting out equipment was excellent, I'm afraid that I can't say the same for the U-Haul communication system and the app. My reservation for a truck was canceled beforehand. No communication of this was made to me at any time. I received no emails, phone calls, or text messages (I checked spam folders and blocked calls/texts) alluding to not having a valid rental truck reservation anymore. I only learned of this when I went to fulfill my end of the rental agreement. It turns out that the rental I had secured was out for maintenance. It was at this point that I checked my app and learned that my reservation had been canceled. It was only due to the flexibility of the rental office that I was able to get a rental truck despite the last minute changes. I would expect notification of the changes to our agreement prior to the moment of truth. This would allow me to make a contingency plan and not rely on hope to ensure that my move was able to be completed.
JACOB CThe pickup location was awesome. They helped me hitch the trailer. They were professional, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we ordered packing materials, and they didn't have any. They were apologetic and removed the charges for those unavailable packing materials.
