The self checkout app was problematic. Car images did not load onto the app. My phone browser was Safari. I had to wait until an employee came in the morning to checkout. She told me just to keep the photos on my phone which would be timestamped. So this caused me a delay.

Wayne GOpened on time and the van was ready to go. The young woman at the counter was fast, courteous and helpful. The moving pads were dusty. Uhaul should go back to the old ones with stitched cloth covering.

Andrew PThe Wipers were in very poor condition and when we got rain I had to pull over several times, and the lights were very dim and made it impossible to see with rain/night. Ultimately it led me to have to stop very early on on my drives due to safety and as well as mornings I had to wait until atleast 6:30am for the sun to rise so I could see. I lost a lot of drive time due to this and wish they would’ve checked all of this before I got the truck.

Kol BThe pricing does not seem above board. I believe it was advertised at about $60 for the day with mileage and it was almost $300 total. Many people would find this misleading and stressful. More accurate upfront information about total expected costs — which you must be aware of — sould be a much nicer approach.
Christine COriginally reserved a rental with Leeds, New York. Never received confirmation of rental. Still went to location, then had to go to Hudson. Hudson was able to provide provide me with a replacement vehicle then a replacement after that because original replacement was too big. I would recommend Hudson. Not leeds.

Ihor KI reserved a car trailer a month and a half in advance at the Port of Albany location in New York and when I went to pick it up, it was actually almost an hour away in Hudson, New York. The staff was awesome and tried to help me, but they say this happens all the time. I’m more upset with U-Haul directly than the staff at the Albany store. I had to drive a total of two hours round-trip out of my way to pick up a car trailer when the local U-Haul where I reserved it was only 15 minutes away

CHARLES LThe office opened 15mins late and the lady pretended to be hurt from the gym. The man and kids then arrived another 5 mins after in seperate car and sat in the office. When I returned their cars were still there, however the door was locked and they pretended to be away. Will use a different pick up next time
Isaac OThe lock was broken on the Uhaul back door. Also, midway through loading the tension cord (?) broke and the door slammed down. Luckily no one was injured.

JEFFREY CThe truck itself was fine. But the passenger side window was in pieces. All broken up. Then when I return it an hour or so late I was charged for another whole day. That was a little not such a great move. I’d love to get that second day refunded

Wayne HI was called to confirm my pickup time at 8 am. I expected that a person would be there to facilitate our rental. The staff person who called did not mention that it would be cell phone pickup. That would have prepared me to know what to expect. Instead, there was nobody there when we arrived. We waited for 20 minutes for someone to arrive. We finally read the typed sign on the door to use my cellphone to pick up. Also, the truck’s low tire light was on at pickup. We checked all the tires and prepared to inflate them but none were low.

Also the truck i originally rented was given to someone else before i got there so i had to go with a smaller truck. Thank you and GOD BLESS

SELENA COffice wasn’t open at 9am as advertised. Got charged an after hours fee. We returned the rental in the time frame we had said we needed it for. If we had known after 4 was the time we would have returned it earlier. Didn’t see that in the contract.

Amber LThe app was not allowing me to do the return. I had my location on and it was not reading my location. I also had my app up to date . I had to return the trailer through safari, and it was able to read my location. This always happens when I use the app.
FERNANDEZ BI got a call a few days before my scheduled pickup saying this location didn’t have the 10ft truck I requested. They told me I’d have to get one at a different rental location just a mile down the road. I went there and there was no one working there. I then went to my original pickup location to try and figure out what was going on. They had a 10ft truck there after all. All in all, this was not a big mixup but I did wind up wasting half an hour and some time being confused about the situation. Otherwise, everything went smoothly.

Elizabeth PWe were unable to get the receipt under the organization's name (Our Lady of Hope Parish) even though that name is listed on the credit card. We have a grant that is funding us for these rentals and are concerned that with the way it is, we won't get approved for the cost. How do we take care of this? Mary
