Be able to apple military discounts. U-Haul says on the site they provide military discounts, but was told they could not provide it, because the place was not actually a "U-HAUL" space. I think the discount should have been honored.Justin N.

I was unable to use the app to return the truck after regular hours the app was unable to identify if we were at the correct location there was a dropbox I found out the subsequent day but it wasn't where the rest of the U-Haul stuff was located the personnel were helpful the next day I've been able to use the app to return the truck was difficult would also be helpful to somehow note somewhere where the dropbox for keys wereTodd D.
First off the truck I reserved was a 20 foot but I had to go with a van because the truck wasn't returned and that's all they had. Made many more trips necessary and my work more time consuming and more e pensive because of mileage and gas burned. Then I returned the truck on time but received 3 phone calls from uhaul and the renting location asking why I had not returned the truck on time? I asked for furniture moving dollys and the location did not have them. This entire expierncce has been a sad disappointment! My takeaway is to never use a small independent location that does not have an inventory on hand in case equipment is not returned or possibly maintenance issues. A simple reduction in mileage charges was not adequate compensation for the lack of properly requested equipment.Frederick W.

The gentleman at this location was low energy and quite unhelpful. He spoke so softly that I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. I did not hear him correctly when quoting me for extra insurance and I was billed $70 more and would have not added it had he been audible. He sent me to another location when the break lights and a left turn signal were not working on the trailer. I thought it was weird but he told me it was close and they would be able to fix it. When I arrived at the second location, they told me he never should have done that and it is unsafe. They tested my lights and said they worked, but the trailer was not working. They found another location and sent me there. I arrived at the 3rd location and they tested and said my lights worked again. The left blinker would still not work on the trailer, but the brake lights did then. I had to go to a 4th location to find out a piece of my electrical was not working and replace it for another $65 to be able to use the trailer at all. This took over 4 hours to get a trailer, an extra $130 more than I was quoted, I stopped at 4 stores, and it was dangerous. I understand the electric issue was not your fault, and 3/4 stores did their best to help me. The first store, however, should never have sent me on my way with lights not working and the manager of the 2nd store made sure to let me know it was not okay as he helped me. This was my first experience with uhaul. I would like someone to contact me and let me know how your company would like to make this right. I was told by the manager I would receive a refund, as a customer should never be sent without brake lights and I was in tears from the stress and time it was taking to figure out.Sierra S.

This location was clean but there was no lockbox to drop off keys. We looked everywhere and it must have either been stolen or blown away or removed entirely. There is no Dropbox there so we had to wait on hold with customer support for 15 to get told to finally leave the keys in the truck.Marsel S.

The folks at this location were very helpful. However, they were my 2nd stop as the U-Haul office at 750 S Buckley Rd did not have a truck ready for pick-up. That's after I called earlier in the day and verified that they were ready for me. When I got there, the truck had not been returned and instead of renting the other 26' truck that was in the lot, I was forced to go to a different location. Whether it was poor customer service on their part or bad company policy, it is unacceptable to force your customers to fix your problems. They could have easily rented me the vehicle in the lot and then drove over to the Murphy Creek location to ensure they had the vehicles they needed. Instead it was placed on me, the customer, to go out of my way to get the vehicle. Bad customer service on U-Haul's part. If / when I need to rent another vehicle, I'll look at one of your competitors. maybe they'll know how to take care of people.James Cameron M.

For trailer rentals, it is not as convenient as other locations. Because it is also a storage rental and the trailers are kept on-site, you need to access the gated facility to return your equipment.Daniel M.

I asked, two weeks in advance, for a dolly to be included in my rental. It was not there upon arrival. The app did not work properly for pick up, but it did for check out. Renting outside of business hours was horrible, and unnecessary delays and lack of equipment rental caused problems.Brian H.

Josiah, was awesome, very professional and very helpful. If it would not have been for him, I would not have been able to move the last of my items including the piano I needed to move. I reserved a truck10ft truck, wrapping plastic, and a furniture and appliance dollies online on Wednesday 1/5/22 at the Buckly and Iliff location. The website advised me upfront that the wrapping plastic was at another location and had to be picked up from the Abeline store. That morning I picked up the plastic, then headed to buckley and Iliff and was advised they had everything except the dollies I needed and advised the truck had no ramp. I advised I was moving a piano and had to have the ramp and dollies. They advised the Abeline store had the truck and dollies. I went to the Abeline store, they had the 15ft truck, but not the dollies. The young guy that helped me stated he called 2 locations and one didnt have the dollies and one didnt answer. The young guy then told me to go to Home Depot and purchase the dollies I needed. I left and called the U-Haul customer service line and got the angel aka Josiah! lol. He was great, he called around and found out who had the dollies before sending me there, moved my reservation to that location off of Gun Club and they had everything I needed 15ft truck, ramp and both the dollies required to move the piano. And I was able to keep the truck overnight at no extra cost, since I had a 10:30am reservation and didnt actually pick up the truck with dollies until 2pm. To make things easier on your cusotmers, please confirm like the plastic wrap, which locations do and do not have dollies upfront on the website. Also, retrain the kid young guy at the Abeline store not to tell customer to go spend $ at Home depot, (poor customer experience) on dollies. I also dont move too often, so listing which trucks have ramps would also be helpful. Lastly, give Josiah 2 raises.KARLA B.

This location is a third party. The clerk repeatedly said, "We're not U-Haul" when they couldn't find the blankets and dolly I reserved. (They were eventually found, in the truck.) I told her to stop saying it wasn't UHaul because to the customer, it is. If you represent UHaul and make money from that relationship, you need to own the issues that come with it. This was NOT the location I chose and I did not appreciate being sent out of my way and delayed due to a later opening time (9:30) than my original reservation (8:00).Laurel D.

I think the .69 cents per hour, on top of the charge of the vehicle is a bit steep. Most expense policies for business do ~.50 cents a mile....Michael G.

I was supposed to drop the trailer off at "Your Storage Center at Murphy Creek" located at 22020 E Atlantic Pl., Aurora, CO 80018 (Tel: 720-379-9220). I would rate them "Poor." When I arrived at my destination, I called the above phone number...no answer. I drove to the address after unloading the trailer...No one home. I called another phone number posted on window...No answer. This occurred during normal business hours. I went back home with the trailer. I called the above number again the next morning...again no answer but trailer was due at 9:00 AM. Drove to next nearest U-haul store "I Box of Murphy Creek" and dropped off trailer. moving truck worked fine, but virtual pickup and dropoff apps were horrible. When returning, dropoff would not work until I used the web based version. This caused my return to go over 45 minutes. No moving blankets were given to me in my moving truck even though I paid for them. I called customer service for help with return and was on hold for 45 minutes; never ever did talk to anyone. Our fist time using a cargo trailer, 2 elderly women traveling 1,000 mile to get home. Great customer service, friendly & knowledgeable.
