Sketchy location. Store owner was rude. After signing a form to decline insurance they still charged me for it. I disputed this with them when I returned the van, which they made me prove I signed the form. When I picked up the truck the attendant advised me that there would be an extra fee if I used the dolly located in the truck and that if the green tie was broken it is evidence that the dolly was used. When I returned the truck the attendant said that the blankets were used and therefore the fee would be charged. He did not mention anything about using the blankets when I rented the truck. When I brought this oversight to his attention and suggested that it was unfair to charge the fee without forewarning he said that he didn't care and that he had my credit card number and he was going to add the fee and if I didn't like it I could file a complaint. We reserved our truck for a Different location closer to our Home. We went to the original location, and they didn't have any trucks Available. The Uhaul Company did not notify us of the Change in pick up location, and our reservation and Reservation Number both listed the original pick up location as the correct location. was told the reservation was moved. and that we should have gotten a notification. but no notification was sent. Your app is horrible. It took about 40 minutes before I could get the keys. The truck was small, horribly small. I am only 6 feet tall and my knees were rammed against the dash. I tried to move the seat back but it was back as far as it could. All in all the total experience was horrible. I will let everyone I know how bad it was. And your charges are ridiculous. I was charged a $25 + HST cleaning charge for no reason. I only used the van for 1.5 hours to move furniture. The roads were clear and dry and the furniture was completely wrapped in packages. There is no way this van needed to be cleaned. This is just a scam to make money hoping you don't notice the extra amount since everything is completed online.Joanna R.

Very disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement of the current pandemic. We're lucky we asked if the van had been disinfected after it's last use, because it had not. We had to disinfect it ourselves. The owner also had multiple people going through the counter with their own needs while he was dealing with us (6 feet was an impossible distance to keep with two people at the counter). Also, when dropping off the van they did not provide us with our receipt because the person who deals with the uHauls was not there. We had arrived at the time we said we'd be there and it is unprofessional that the person who deals with uHauls was not there to go through everything with us. I didn't know what my credit card would be charged until the next day when I got my receipt by email. This means I would have to call uHaul if there was any part of the charges I didn't understand, which is very inconvenient when you have to spend the next couple of days unpacking. Overall a very unprofessional experience and would not recommend.Justine P.

I had a Good experience at this location. To be honest, I was quite worried how I would be treated after reading the negative reviews but it was opposite. May be I got lucky or something else, I don't know but it was pleasant. May be some people need to be patient as they need to serve other customers of their own business while handling U-Haul reservations. I waited patiently on the side whenever they had other customers - no big deal for me, so apparently it turned out to be good. The only negative thing was the cleanliness of the Driver Cabin, it was filthy - not deeply cleaned and there were long hair in the Door cup holder area but I only needed for a couple hours so I didn't mind it.Dhaval B.
Person when I dropped off truck was extremely rude. Also claimed there was more gas in the tank when it was picked up and scammed me and charged me for gas when he shouldn't have. When discussing with him the person actually said he'd be happy if I never rented a uhaul from him again. Will seriously consider not using your service again. I had a reservation for 3 pm. When i went to pick it up, the lady said she won't have a truck for me until 6. I argued because 1. I have a reservation 2. There were currently 2 trucks the size of my reserved truck just sitting in the lot. I finally convinced her to let me take one of the trucks in the lot and have it back by 6pm (my original reservation was for 4 hrs, not 3). It seemed like she was unsure of everything.CORAL K.

I will never go to that location again the man that worked at the store was very very rude he first started by calling me yelling because we had parked our car where the truck was and when I was trying to explain he continued to yell at me and hung up on me when we returned the truck he then again was very rude and when I asked him to lower his voice he then walked away and spoke in his language to his daughter for her to take over she then was very rude and disrespectful and spoke to me like I was a child..being the first time I rented a U-Haul I was confused with some of the charges and instead of explaining sink could understand she spoke as though I was a child. As a U-Haul representative they are very rude and acted as it was a inconvience for them when we left the store we took pictures to show there was no no parking sign where we had parked. The service was really bad. My husband and I were disrespected several times and very unhappy with our experience. We were ignored for at least 15 minutes after we came in. We were questioned about our relationship. When we asked for some clarification regarding the bill, we were rudely & loudly told twice to leave if we wanted to. In the middle of processing our transaction, abruptly the man got up to leave and told a lady to take over. Upon returning the van within 2 hours the lady said she couldn't complete the return protocol and that the man had to return before it could be done. She was also dismissive, impolite and lacked customer service skills. We called the U-haul number to file a complaint. And it is now being escalated to the Area Field Manager.akinsola T.

The van was not very clean. Thick layer of dust on the dash, dirty cup holders etc. I would expect cleaning standards to be higher esp with the COVID situation. I stopped home to grab some disinfectant wipes to clean the surfaces I would be touchingDiane M.

Customer service was highly lacking. I ore arranged my reservation and was met with a ride sales clerk, that seemed unprepared and unknowing or caring what the trucks condition was and if what I had pre arranged was included. I was then charged an additional utility dolly fee I did not use nor was it included and for additional moving blankets I had not used. Upon return of the truck I was told that the person to which handles the invoices would be in later and email me it. This was a move of my mother's who recently passed. To have to deal with added stress of unkind people and be charged additionally for things that were not asked for provided or used is disheartening.Teena R.

Great experience with the usage of the truck. The booking process was not as great. I booked a couple of weeks ago to be prepared for my sons move. I received email confirmation. Then I called on Saturday and was told i didn't have a truck! After a long conversation interrupted several times I was finally able to confirm I did have a truck. Unnecessary stress.KERI W.
Man we dealt with was unsure how to complete our return online & took much longer than necessary to figure everything & return our deposit & print the correct receipt, but he WAS polite and professional. He called the U-haul helpline & the woman he was speaking to extremely rude & unhelpful & eventually hung up on him for no good reason! As well, we were extremely appalled that we were charged $55 extra for returning it a few hours late. The trucks advertise $19.95 and yet only a few hours extra when you already have several HUNDRED dollars from us and you charge $40 PLUS $15 "insurance", the latter of which was not mentioned when I called to inquire how much extra it might cost. We also believe the KMs calculated were not enough. We only did what we needed to and still ended up over and were charged through the nose for that as well. We are extremely disappointed overall and will be recommending everyone we know to other truck rental companies in the future. Having the monopoly on the market does not mean you can treat your customers like this without negative fall out.Timothy P.

I arranged with U-Haul to pick up 10 feet truck at this location at 2:00 pm which we were there .ariund 2:30 pm. The owners claimed they do not have our reservation on their computer and denied me to show him U-Haul message on my phone and he said he does not care about what is on my phone. We had to accept his offer to go with a 15 feet truck and left the place at 3:25 pm because he claimed he does not have a 10 feet and too slow to deliver the truck to us. We needed the truck for six hours as we requested earlier day talking to U-Haul rep. But due to circumstances face with at this location, had to return the truck at 6:30 as requested by the location owner . We could not do what we were supposed to use the truck for and plan to rent another U-Haul truck but not from this location. Please let us know if action to correct this poor service which we did not expect from U-Haul dealer. Besides all this we saw a 10 feet truck parked at this location at time of returning the truck.MOLOOK A.
