Resurved my truck a week ago for last friday . The truck i resurved was not there i didnt get to pick up the truck at 4 like i had reserved was forst to pick it up 7 hours early because he wasnt going to be at the store aswell i had to drop it off befor 9 am today even though it was a 4 till 4 booking and my last words are i ordered a 8 foot pickup and got a 15 foot box not happyandrew B.

We will never deal with U-Haul again. The man was rude, threatened my husband was very aggressive in his attitude. My husband is usually a gentle man but this man, even though he was black and very loud, pushed him to his limits by coming out from behind the desk, pointing his finger at my husband under his nose. The last time someone did that the guy was put in the hospital. . If I had NOT been there I am afraid the same would have happened . We are NOT the only ppl in Listowel that have had the same experience. This man should NOT be allowed to operate this kind of business. As I said we will never deal with U-Haul again !!!!JOHNJ W.

The lights on the trailer did not work, so had to fix ourselves. Trailers should be ready to hook up and go! Another client took the trailer number on our invoice because of the light issue. Also they need to have someone working that is willing to help with the hookup and unhooking of the trailers!!ROGER H.

I had a great experience here. Makes me wonder who's the cause of the bad experiences. The guy behind the desk is hilarious, yet still very professional and helpful. I suffer from a sore back so he sent one of his guys out to help me lift the trailer on to my hitch. And that guy was a gem of a man as well. It's rare I have to rent moving equipment however next time I do it will be here. Oh, while you're there buy his jerk chicken it's fantastic.Stephane G.

We were scheduled to pick up the rental at 8am, when we got there no one was there and the numbers to call on the door no one answered. Then the gentleman finally showed up at 9am and proceeded to give us attitude because he doesnt start work till 9am and we should have known what his hours were. This service was totally unacceptable and I will not recommend anyone to this location. The only good part of this was the one lady from U haul who actually tried to get us another rental the second time we called. The first person we spoke to couldn't be bothered to help us at all. Very poor service we wont be using U haul again.Randy V.

First I had a challenge getting a response to my phone request to book a unit. I had 2 or 3 follow up calls that did not seem clear that my booking was registered. The parking area was extremely tight and a challenge to return the unit. I received my final bill via e-mail and saw a charge for "SafeTrip Fee". I LIVE IN WATERLOO. For a multi billion organization to ask me to pick up a Rental truck 1:15 hrs away from my home is completely unacceptable, embarrassing and disrespectful towards a customers time and needs during a stressful time such as moving. I was put in a check mate position and simply had to put up with this nonsense if I was going have a truck for my move. I will not be renting from uhaul ever again. To add to this, the representative at the pick up location requested that I bring back the truck (again 1:15 hrs away) so that it can be available for her client. Credit card information entered during on-line reservation should go through to the location to be used for payment. Otherwise, why are you asking for it on-line? The trailer I rented was not cleaned, however the on-line pick up check out would not allow me to enter that nor upload a photo properly from my phone (Blackberry Key2 Running Android). The issues I had seemed to be with U-Haul's on-line system. The location I used (Listowel) was excellent. The staff there are personable and very accommodation.Mike D.

Equipment was good and clean. Owner can be very difficult to understand and was not aware that a company can double dip with charging for fuel and also requesting that the customer pay to fill a vehicle on top of the per km charge. When I called Paul the first time I was just trying to get a feel for the place. I got the vibe I hope for instantly and enjoyed talking. When I went to pick the truck up, I realized at the last minute I was gonna be 10-15 min late and Paul's wife Terri waited for me. Terri was excellent in doing the deal quickly and I was on the road in no time at all. 26 ft truck was the best I've ever rented... I rented alot over 45 yrs! Make sure the tires are full of air, one tire was flat and no one noticed until we got to our location to pick up our car, we had to have it repaired because u-haul vendor was going to take 1 1/2 hrs to get to our location. Lucky for us there was a repair shop very close by.Gary B.

Not very friendly. Tried to charge me double what the receipt I had was online. Showed him my reservation price. Went to pay debit and he was going to charge me an extra $12 so I went out to the truck in the rain to get a credit card. There was no option to minimize contact either. We were told over the phone during the confirmation that we could pick up our truck at 8 am but when we got there he didnt open til 830 but didnt even show up until 845. Then we asked if the trucks were hard to drive because I've never driven one he just laughed at us. Overall this location made us stress out a lot ontop of the stress of moving and I would never choose this location again.Jodi V.
