The absolute worst customer service. I have tried contacting the customer service number for the past 3 days and I have been on hold for nearly an hour each time. I also have a claim to make because the dealer made an error on their end and resulted in additional fees.

We had a hard time trying to rent the vehicle. We had to call and was on the phone for a long time. It would be helpful that the pick up location could just do the transaction. We do appreciate that you had a vehicle for us to rent. We got screwed by Budget. Will never use them again.

Everything was ok until the owner decided to steal from me. After I filled the truck with gas at HIS station. He tells me that I didn’t put enough in. I know how to read a god damn gas gauge. So he stole 12.50 then he can’t produce a paper receipt for me. Plus this guy takes his sweet ass time checking you in and out. It took 25 minutes with no one in store to get the truck. It took 1/2 hour to check back in. WTF. Someone needs to train this guy. I’ll never go back to this location again or recommend it to my associates and business partners.

Very informal and the process took about 20 minutes because of technical problems and the attendant (who runs the gas station) also had to service customers buying lottery tickets and gas

Was not a priority at check in. Convenience store business took precedence. Swore when he found out it was a one way rental and only gave me 5 furniture pads out of the 12 I reserved. Wanted to only give me one. Inside of the truck was a bit dirty. Both cab and box.

I declined the insurance coverage, but was charged $14.00 for it anyway. I then waited a hour while the representative attempted to remove the charge, then decided to help another customer. After standing there for an hour, I was told to take the truck and the $14 insurance charge would be removed when I returned. When I returned, I received my final bill, which still contained the $14 charge. Terrible experience. Horrible customer service.

Trailer had damaged tie downs that I did not come to find out until I was loading a vehicle onto It 600 miles from home. I have rented I haul trailers in the past and have had the trailer hooked up and tested by a uhaul employeed to make sure all is well. In this case I was required to hook up, secure and test completely on my own. Very unprofessional and the tie down issue should have been discovered on the pre trip inspection by the proprietor.

It's a gas station, with one person manning the front counter trying to sell gas, lottery tickets, beer and other items at the same time trying to rent me a truck. He did his best but it took over 30 minutes to get the paperwork ready.

Clerk at bp station tried to double charge me which my bank would not approve and told me the charge did not go through then told me i would be blacklisted from renting through uhaul.. turns out my card was fine and it was all his fault.

Picking up my rental van was horrible. A busy gas station with only 1 employee trying to process me while ringing other customers up. At one point he passed the laptop computer to me and said fill this information out (something about verifying who I was with another contact). Took over 45 minutes. I received a call the day before switching my pickup location to this one, I was very unhappy.

waited almost 30 minutes for this location to figure out how to login to uhaul, then the truck had all sand on the floor of the box. Then the guy has the nerve to charge me $25 for a cigarette ash in the cab, and guess what, no one smoked in the truck, because my fiance has asthma, and she wouldn't be able to breathe if they did....I think this is the last time I rent fron uhaul

These people are cheats and frauds, that is why they had a 2 star to begin with. I rented a 15 footer from them and paid upfront including for insurance. Upon returning they told me I made a few scratches on the top portion of the bed frame and that I owe them money. They called someone and told me I can go and charged me 150$ extra for damages. One I didn't do the damages and they falsely blamed me and 2nd they didn't honor my insurance (if I even did do it, hypothetically). I will be taking this up with my credit card company. Never ever use this place, damn scam artist.

Remove this location that I picked the U-Haul truck up from the employee was rude and incompetent didn't know what he was doing and accused me of damages on the truck that I did not cause and I am disputing this from my American Express also your field manager that called me back was also very dismissive it's the worst experience I've ever had renting any vehicle from anywhere I will never use you guys again

The 10’ truck I reserved was not there when I arrived. After much convincing, he allowed me to take the 15’ truck that he had, but charged me for the higher price. Not my fault that he didn’t have the truck that I reserved!

Person at the counter did not know about online registering and self-checkout. It delayed me for about an hour to get the truck I had reserved online. Horrible service.

Absolute worst experience with UHaul to date. Specifically picked this location because it is listed on UHaul's website as being a 24 hour location. I selected a pick up time of 10pm (according to website pickup at this location was available until 11:30pm) and even called to check and make sure (the day before) that they were open for pickup at that time. I was told that they were. So, I showed up at 10pm to expecting to pick up my trailer, and I was told that "The UHaul representative decided to go home, so you are not able to pick up the trailer today." This was unacceptable, as I needed to leave at 4:30am the following day. Unfortunately nothing at all was done by the UHaul rep to come back even though he was alerted that we were there expecting to pick the trailer up. So we decided our only option at that point was to return tomorrow morning when they "opened" (even though they are listed as a 24 hr location!!!) and the representative did not show up until 35 minutes after when we were told he would be arriving as he was late to his shift. It took nearly an hour for him to finish all of the paperwork on the website and it seemed as though he had never rented out a trailer before. He did not even understand how to plug the date in to the website correctly, and I had to explain it to him. Overall, this was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with UHaul. This location should not be listed as a 24 hour location, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT A 24 HOUR LOCATION. Additionally, this location should be closed altogether. They are a terrible representation of the UHaul brand, and provided me with the overall worst customer service I have ever experienced. UHaul should seriously consider revoking this location's ability to rent out equipment, as they clearly do not care about providing quality rentals or quality customer service.
