My original pickup was at a different location. Uhaul sent me a text that said your equipment will be ready at 1440 Jefferson. I didn't notice the location had changed so I went to the first location on Ellis. Then I had to go to the second location. Maybe that is on me for not noticing the different address but it would have been nice if the text would have included that the location had changed. I went to the new location and found out they didn't have the hitch I had pre-ordered, the didn't have one of the dollies, they didn't have the furniture pads, they didn't have the wiring harness connector I had ordered or the mattress cover I had ordered. I then had to go to O'Reillys at get a hitch and then back to the place to get the trailer. Then I had to get a mattress cover delivered via doordash which was $30. The whole process take an extra 1.5 hours. Meanwhile back at the location we were moving from we had two helps each getting $30 per hour just standing around. Both the locations were fine and helpful. I blame the issues more on the corporate side for not ensuring the second location even carried all the items I had pre-ordered to make sure the morning went smoothly as we were on a tight time frame. All in all the issues costs me an extra $200 and I am not even sure yet I wasn't charged by UHaul for the hitch, wiring harness connector, mattress cover and moving pads.

Chandler TThe truck I rented had an engine light on and the front end shimmied horribly at upper speeds. I only used it to move about an hour away and was told upon pickup that it was one way and when I needed to keep it an extra day they told me if I didn’t bring it back to the pickup location that day, my bill would be tripled. Then they tried to charge me for a truck I did not use. Major Communication breakdown! Thumbs down! Would not recommend!!!

Thomas PThe property pavement is filled with potholes and in need of repair. There was no problem with the trailer. It was raining when I returned the trailer and pulled up under the roof covering the gas pumps. I had to go in and let the attendant know that I needed to return the trailer. Service is not always good as only one person is onsite and have had to unhook the trailer myself. The attendant indicated they would help. Returning to my vehicle and not wanting to get wet, I stepped over the tongue of the trailer only to trip and fall, damaging both knees, my right elbow, and spraining my right forearm, bicep, and shoulder. I layed on the wet pavement stunned, hurting, trying to assess the damage I had called out, hoping the attendant would help. When I realized they were not coming, I got up and went back in. I was bleeding from my elbow and knees and asked for help. They got some bandaids, so I wouldn’t bleed all over the vehicle after they unhooked the trailer myself. This U-Haul site is not the safest and the attendant was not very observant. I rent trailers from that location 3 or 4 times a year. There are other U-Haul locations and I will not be using that location again. I was unable to find the contact form on U-Haul’s website, so I am submitting a review.

Kimberlie RI understand things happen but pick up was 6 am opening employee called out and someone did not show till almost 7. This put me an hour behind. 200 miles away I found the trailer had a bad tire that the belts on the inside were showing. Should have never been rented out. Took another hour to get someone out to replace it. Even after tire replacement trailer had a vibration in it.
ERIC ETrailer blew a wheel while going down the highway, shredded due to age. Not maintained by UHaul. Caused load in trailer to shift and broken entertainment center. Rental agent didn't know contract system, or how to hook up a trailer. Had to borrow a wiring harness off another trailer. Wrong dolly supplied. Not a good experience.
