We were happy to have a local option as we have had to drive to London before. However, the woman who helped me didn't know how to attach the chains and didn't check the tail lights. Which ended up not working at all during our drive to Knoxville and back. She also didn't think they could give me any refund for the faulty wiring.BETHANY B.

Answer the 1-800 number, mobile check in did not work, truck had a flat tire, had to pick truck up 40 miles from where I reserved. U-Haul does not answer their phone, on hold for more than an hour no one answered. Terrible customer service.George L.

I phoned the pick up location twice and the man who originally answered the phone was very short with his words and absolutely seemed to care less that I was a customer. My second call to him was to ask why the business was not open yet at 10:15 when he had informed me they open at 10 am. A mask less person in the middle of a pandemic calling himself Wesley rolled onto the lot within a couple of minutes and opened the business building for the day. This was supposed to a contactless transaction but the app would not allow me to continue the pick up process and as well on the employees end he said there were issues with the previous renters transaction which was delaying my pick up. It took a full hour to complete the rental transaction which by now through off my day for now we were late in meeting our hired hands to help with the move which now cost me extra money. The rental truck was dirty in the cab with dried mud all over the floor and 3 plastic gator aid bottles as well the rear floor with leafs , qtip swabs and other debris that had not been swept out before I picked up the vehicle. I have always used U-Haul over the years with pretty great results but this transaction was horrible!Kevin B.
I had one of there smallest trailers for alittle over a day and they charged for 2 full days. When all that trailer was gonna do was sit there for a while longer, no one was in need for it so I believe that the time a customer has it they should get charged per hour they have it and not by the day cause not everyone can pay for 12 or 24hrs when they only need it for 2 or 4JOHNATHON G.

Despite selecting a pickup time during the listed business hours, there was no one at the location when we arrived. The mobile pickup option took entirely too long with multiple tries before we finally were able to get the keys to the truck. The truck was fairly clean, but had some sort of liquid stains all over the seating area.Courtney T.

I purchased two furniture dollys. They were not in the truck. When I contacted the location, they said â€œwe never have those.â€ Then it should have never been an option. I was counting on those to help me move. Unacceptable.Bobby B.

This location did not have our truck reservation ready at the time of pickup. There was no key in the box. The office was supposed to be open but no one was there to help us. After calling different numbers we were told the woman had not seen our reservation and had left. She came back and we finally got a truck an hour after our pickup time. The furniture dolly and blankets we reserved were also missing and we didn't get them. The inside of the truck was full of dirt. We were not happy with our experience and it set our moving plans for the day backJamin F.
My contract stated that their was 3/4 of a tank of gas in the vehicle when I rented it therefore I was to return it with 3/4 of a tank. The fuel gauge was just over half a tank below 3/4 when I got in the uhaul.adam C.

My debit card got charged for an extra day. I then had to call the rental facility and was told that the money would be put back in my account. I never received an email receipt back from Uhaul stating that the money had been replaced. I would like to know that the money was replaced and received a receipt stating that.barry A.

The uhaul truck I rented was definitely not cleaned prior to arrival and me renting the vehicle. They hadn't even kicked the mud out of the floorboards, which was not a good way to start off this rental, getting mud all over your pants and shoes,.. only to move a gun safe from point A to point B. After several hours of lifting and straining, I returned the u-haul, I backed the truck in perfectly so it would look good. I even took out one of my portable vacuums and cleaned the whole front cab, just to ensure there would be no issues and so next person renting wouldn't have to experience that. After that disaster of a rental, I had already overpaid dramatically, which was about 72 dollars for a 15ft truck for 3 hours... that's insane but nevertheless I was over charged 35 dollars!!! So it come up to like 110 dollars??? Thankfully, I used the chat with an agent service and I'm supposed to have that refunded back but we'll see. I've used uhaul for many years and for many moves, but if this experience is an example of how this company operates nowadays, this will definitely be my last time and I'll be more than happy to spread the word.Joseph B.

I had never used UHaul before and the direction giving for returning the truck wasn't clear, which cost another 20.00 per person.David H.
Make the address on the sign bigger. Put the right name on the place. I had a hard time determining if I was in the right location even though I seen the trucks.Tracy H.
