I was able to make a reservation to pick up the trailer at 1130 I got there and no one was there so I had to call customer support. They said no one would be there to just hook up the trailer and take it off I was comfortable with it. So I hooked the trailer up to find it you need an extension for the electrical hook up. I ended up having to buy one of them they did say they would reimburse me though. The point is something that should have taken about 15 minutes to well over an hour between phone calls and finding an extension for the electrical hook up. I still can't figure out how I was see to reserve am in person pick up and no one be there?Heath A.

I reserved the vehicle online. The website said the location opened at 10:00 AM. I arrived at 12:30 PM for a 12:30 PM pick up. The location was closed. I called the local phone number which forwarded to another number. I left a message. No one called back. I then called the U Haul customer service number. After 10 minutes of waiting for someone to answer I hung up. An employee arrived shortly there after. I had my truck by 1:00 PM. Very pleased with the truck. Very clean. Customer service got off to a slow start, when a customer calls someone should answer the phone or a least promptly call back. The employee, although he said he was new to the rental side of the business did a good job.Richard M.

Nice people but there was a snag with my reservation when I arrived despite me logging in the day before. Also, truck battery was dead and they had to jump start the truck. We had to do that ourselves at home as well while moving.William F.
This location is a giant mud pit. It is a run down, neglected care repair business that does not seem interested in the uhaul business. The person who assisted us in picking up the rental was clearly annoyed and â€œput outâ€ that he had to stop what he was doing and help us. The trailer was full of mud inside. The the process what was out of whack. It took a week and a half to get the vehicle schedule. Then when they schedule they scheduled my vehicle 30 miles away. Which I had to pay for the riding distance. Go back to Albany then I had to come back through Nelsonville to get to Columbus. I return the vehicle in Grove City which was 20 minutes away and I have a place just 1.7 miles close to my new homeVINCENT C.

Very small location. The store did not stock any supplies and had to furniture pads. The truck I was given had a warning light on. I drove a short while to another Uhaul location and asked about the light. They called dispatch and I was told it was fine to drive. The truck ended up breaking down about 70 miles into my move. Took three hours to fix the truck enough to continue on my way. I realize the truck was rented from rural Ohio, but I should have never been given a truck with a mechanical issue. It ended up being a fuel leak so I was told to drive a truck that was dangerous and could have caught fire or worse.Mark S.

Clean the mud from the cabin of the truck. Clean the inside of the windshield so drivers can safely see the road. Have the reserved pads on hand so furniture can be moved without damage. Be present to welcome customers, not keeping them waiting 15 minutes for you to arrive. Clean a waiting area somewhere in the filthy building.Bruce A.

Nelsonville, Oh 45764 location Woman at counter was EXTREMELY rude to me because it was â€œsupposed to be her day offâ€ and told me my roommate was supposed to do his reservation online because she didn't want to come in yesterday, even though we didn't have the money when she wanted us to do it. When she handed me my keys she said â€œI fucking hate you all. Good luck movingâ€ I was told I would receive an email to say I returned my rental by 7 pm yesterday. I never received it and got a call this morning from a uhaul office in Columbus, Ohio asking when I would return my rental. I told the man there when I dropped my rental off an hour early I never received the email and he told me it was fine. Dropped off after closing time. Driveway was blocked by multiple vehicles, so dropped the trailer in what we hoped was a good location. The location was not an issue. I would not recommend UHaul in general due to the fact that they kept changing the pick up and drop off locations, and it took over an hour on the phone to get the drop off location changed back to the city I was moving too. The people were nice but the place was a bit rough and GPS kept trying to stop a half mile up the road so that was aggravating. Turned around 3 times looking around before deciding to drive a little further and found it.Audrey W.
We originally weren't able to locate this return location-we thereafter called the number that was online (it was out of order); then we saw a billboard and called that number and it too was out of order. Finally found a number and spoke to someone @4:00 pmâ€”he said they were closed for the day. Everything on internet and my info said it was open until 5pm! No truck inspection was provided by Jones Service prior to departure. Prior to departure I advised them the truck was muddy and dirty and they replied it was not their place to clean it and that I could take photos and walked off. Once pulling out I noticed the front windshield was cracked. I called the Regional office to report the windshield and the uncleanliness of the truck. The location was closed and I had to use my cell phone to check in. This was more complicated than it needed to be and took a lot of time. When I had completed the process the response was that I still owed 50+ dollars which I contested. Have never received a phone call like the app said I would. So, when I look at my charges I will be contesting them with my bank card company.ken W.

Horrible customer service. Choose a pick up location, got pushed out of town to a different location, wasn't able to drop the truck off from my original spot and was threatened by Uhaul customer service to be charged a $150 "wrong drop off location charge". I talked to 4 different representatives, never received a contract, and the truck I had was reported as stollen because no one was at the shop to check it out for me when my confirmed pick up time was. I had a text confirmation and email confirmation that both said to pick it up at a given time and place and after returning the truck, was told by the shop that the truck I requested was not even at the shop and that Uhaul did not even notify them that I had a pick up time there. There was clearly a lack of communication on Uhauls end and no one from the company was willing to help me. I spoke to some of the rudest representatives and I will never use uhaul again. I had decent previous experience wh uhaul, but after this weekend move will NEVER use or suggest them to others again. Horrible service.Jordan G.

The location is an auto repair shop that has lots of cars around it. It looked better up close then from the road. It is not the most inviting place to rent from but since there isn't any other options around there it was fine. The "enclosed" trailer leaked rain in and everything got soaked. The last 3 times I used an enclosed uhaul trailer it was the same. Why dont they make them seal properly? Rubber seals are cheap and easy to replace! Bottom line is always $$$, not customer satisfaction!Marcia D.
