She said that I got charge for $39 for fuel While it wasn't true then she did something on her device and said said it is deducted so I paid and left I looked at bill and showing that got charge and I paid. I am hoping someone could look into it.HOSSEIN M.
When ordering online the uhaul website allowed me to pick a 9 o'clock pick up time. We planned our day around this and showed up to pick up the truck only to find out the building doesn't open for another hour. Once inside we had to give all our information again, which delayed our day more and defeats the purpose of giving all the information the online reservation.Adam M.

Cancel the partnership with 1330 Ritson Rd N Unit 1 Oshawa, ON L1G6Z6 Connivance store PLEASE. Reasons are as follows 1. The store owner is rude, late and just not a good human being. 2. I along with 2 other customers had reservations for 9:00, 9:30+ and the owner showed up at 10:30. Reading through other comments and reviews, it looks like this is common practice for this person. 3. The reservation said dolly and furniture pads will be available and the owner did not have it. 4. He is extremely rude in all transactions and this affects uhaul more than him obviously and he knows it. 5. No calls were answered on the contact number on multiple trials. I've used uhaul many times in the past 5 years and never once have I had such horrible experience. I ended up having to pay my movers an additional $200 due to the wait. Moving is a stressful time for everyone and nobody needs a moron making life harder for anyone else.Sreyas K.

Be on time, respect the pickup time that was scheduled for customers!!! We booked our Truck for 10am pickup, The man working did not show up until 10:50, barrelling into the parking lot almost running me over. His hours on the store front said the business was to open at 8am! We had hired movers that were waiting for an hour for us to get this truck to them, his tardiness set our whole day and wallet back (200$ The movers were standing around for an hour waiting for us to unlock house and bring them truck)- and he never apologized. Moves are scheduled and stressful, this was unacceptable and if I was U-haul I would not allow this location to operate under the U-Haul name.michael O.

I will never use Uhaul ever again, I rented a 15ft van for June 5 at 8am via the share program, did not get van till 1040am from a different location and a smaller van. I had a reservation for 8am with a reservation number which was booked a week before pickup, I showed up and there's was no van for me, talked to a representative and they told me that there was no van for me, I got no notification of that, I was told I should have got confirmation of that but I didn't. Your whole system is stupid, when you book a reservation for 8am online and you receive an email back that you have a reserved van with a reservation number and details of where to pick up and drop off, that IS your confirmation, that's what reservation means. There was 2 other couples waiting for their van as well and had the same problem as I did, never again will I use Uhaul, I'll be writing a story about this and sending it to the mediaEUGENEM O.

The location did not have any U-- haul signage that was easy to see. The gentleman that did my contact and release was very nice and helpful but he was running a store, package pickup and u-haul at the same time. We did not to a walk around the vehicle so I had to take my own pictures to show proof of damage to the Cecile when I got it. The truck I got had the engine light on the whole time of my use, this did make me feel uncomfortable and I worried that the truck could break down at any time.Rosel R.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We rented a truck from Friday 3pm to Saturday 3pm. We went to get the truck at Jug City and was told the truck was inspected and ready to go. We know we are supposed to get a check list for us to go inspect the truck and make notes as we rent often. He said not necessary because he did it. We go to retrieve the truck and see as we approach VOMIT down the drivers side door and window. We also noted dents. We go back to tell the older clerk to come see and reluctantly comes out. He argues that it is only dirt which you can clearly see it is VOMIT. I have several pictures to prove this. He tells us WE can take it to the car wash if we don't like it. This horrible interaction lasted for 20 to 30 minutes. At one point he tells us he is not renting the vehicle to us. He also told me to go away as he will only talk to my husband because i was telling him how DISGUSTING it is to expect us to take a truck with VOMIT on it especially in the middle of a PANDEMIC. My husband asked him if U-Haul would find it acceptable with the way he is reprsenting them. We had to go home and get sanitary wipes and gloves as we are sure if he didn't clean vomit he sure didn't sanitize the inside (as is required according to Ministry of Health) to ensure the safety of clients. We had to be careful not to touch or brush up the truck while going in and out so as not to get vomit on us. Returning the vehicle was just as bad. Same clerk told my husband to go get the milage . I called customer service Friday and was told we would get a call back by a manager, it is now Sunday. Ref# below. U-Haul Reference #3078811MARK B.

Jug City location person was rude and did not added additional driver and i had to call call center to get it done which took 30 mins. Also, he did not provided covering cushions and dolly upfront but charged, so we had to go back in store and get it. Also, the truck was dirty from outside and was having stain of spitting tobacco on door glass, In covid time this is really not good.UMESHMACHINDRA S.
Picking up the vehicle was very slow because the person at this location had trouble checking us in. We had to clean all the snow and ice off the truck before we could use it. When we got the truck home and began to load it, we were surprised to see cigarettes butts, food wrappers, and a chocolate milk carton in the truck, and Uhaul blankets on the floor of the truck. There was a smell in the truck that may have been marijuana, we wondered if someone had even slept in it. The return of the truck went smoothly except that this location failed to report to Uhaul that we had returned the truck to that location and on time; Uhaul called to check on what location the truck had been returned to and we cleared that up, but it's a bit of a headache to have to help resolve these issues. In addition, once they confirmed that it had been returned on time, they gave me al late charge as though it had been returned a day later, which I am hopeful will be refunded. I would not recommend using this location for Uhaul; I'm not sure if I would recommend Uhaul at all, though customer service that I have dealt with were fairly good and able to help work out some of the problems. That being said, I'm busy enough trying to unpack and get settled after a move that I don't want to be dealing with these problems.Mark A.

Location is 4 towns away from my preferred pick up. No one contacted me to tell me my truck would be an hour away. I waited on hold for 30 mins to find this out. Also was 4 hours later than I needed it. Staff was not knowledgeable about equipment. truck did not have dolly, had to take one from another truck.JASONEDWARD B.
I was nit impressed at all with this service. When i went to pick up truck there was a non medical face mask on the seat and an empty milk container. I had to go back in the store to ask the employee to clean it but he was so busy checking lotto tickets for people at jug city i was waiting 45 mins before i got the truck.. I also dropped off the truck and was told he would email me the receipt but as of this review i still had not received. Would not recommend this location again. To be given a truck with a used face mask in it during a pandemic os un acceptable.CHARLESW M.
Worst thing is that I booked the vehicle for 8 am - but when I arrived the store had a paper sign taped to the door saying it opened at 11 am each day. There was no indication in the rental agreement about those hours. When I came back I had to compete with purolator and jug city customers for the time of the one staff member. When I asked about the rental period - booked for 8 am - but could not get until 11 am - the staff person said it would be worked out through the rental agreement and the return. But I did not get a receipt yet - so don't know what the final outcome was. Also I had to sweep a pile of some kind of white cleaning (?) chemical out of the truck - not sure what it was (baking soda?). Otherwise well maintained.Mark S.
A More repectful, pleasant and friendly approach would have been nice, along with reasonable, professional customer service. Truck was filthy. There was disgusting spite stains on the driver window, beer cans, empty water bottles, cigarette package...the back door of truck was unlocked. During this covid pandemic time it was very disgusting and upsetting. I had to clean the truck at the gas station after leaving the site. The truck stalled repeatedly and i felt unsafe. I had to wait to be served while the lone clerk took care of store customers and FedEx customers. I got the impression that I could pay cash when I returned the truck. Upon return I was told that it was already processed onto my credit card and that was final. I will never use a satellite agent again as todays' experience was totally disappointing for me.Grant W.
