I ordered and reserved a 20' Truck (27153696). I was given a 15' Truck. I did not have room in this 15' Truck for all my belongings. I had to make (2) trips. Now i'm charged double mileage, paid more in gas to fill the truck and hours wasted. I rented a 15' truck on Thursday August 18, 2022. Mileage and truck cost me just over $120. This rental on Saturday was more than double the price. I need to be reimbursed for added expenses that were not my doing. For $10 more a 20' Truck which I reserved, would have done exactly what I needed and in less time and less money! This is not right!Michael W.

The location manager is really rude and loud, he was not hiding behind the counter and you cant communicate well with him while pick up and drop off. Also he did not even asked or informed while adding the coverage and took advantage of me trusting UHAL as a brand and added coverage without talking about it. I was in rush situation and signed the agreement on trust. Well when I came to return he even asked that booking tool has taken 2 days as you came to return late than agreed hours. If i am paying for a day, its my which what hour I want to return in that 24 hrs. His overall behavior was not welcoming and he was shouting on other customers as well, so I will never recommend this location to anyone. The vehicle was smelly dirty and even have empty smoke packs in it. He never even looked it himself if the vehicle is clean or not but asked me to provide him the mileage and gas tank status from previous rental. Really disappointed with the service.ANKUR S.

The representative there billed me for safe move without asking and then gave me booking helpline number to get it edited. We was non apologetic to what he's done. I waited for more than an hour to speak to agent. Pure waste of time. No apology from U-Haul either. I was told by phone rep that I'd be compensated for it. But nothing.ROHITT S.
I have always used UHaul for my moving needs and I have never experienced such a horrible encounter. The Jug City store tried to scam me and charge me double as the truck was dropped off 15 mins late due to them asking how long Id need the truck for. When reserving the truck I was informed that I would get it for 4 hours which was incorrect as per the fradulent employees working at this location. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS - they are unable to check the trucks as they do multiple services at this location which is inconvenient for the customer. Do yourself a favor and save the headache and use a different companyChristine H.

The trucks check engine light was on ? It's motor was misfiring and Stumbling in exelleration? There was garbage all over the cab ? N no one swept the box ? I showed the tank was half full ? The attendant claimed the tank was at 1/3 as it was 1/4 when picked up? and charged for an extra day for 40 mins late?Norman H.
I scheduled to pick up my truck for 8am, after getting there at 730am to check in to get my truck the website notified me that it would be ready for pick up at 11am when the store opened. Why bother offering a pick up time before the store is open. So at that point my entire move was completely screwed up. And then when I finally got back there to pick up the truck the cashier had no idea what he was doing, I let him know the truck smelled like hay and barn animals and that the interior of the cab was filled with fast food containers and he said yeah I know. Honestly this location should be removed from the U-Haul franchise it's an embarrassment to the company name.keifer H.

The fact that this location is in a convenience store as well as a purolator service location, and the person doing all three things with constant interruptions, and clearly does not "listen" to my UHAUL needs is problematic. The person I was dealing with had lack of knowledge in how to correct things. It took me close to 3 hours to pick up my reserved truck as well ME having to place multiple calls into UHAUL for assistance, while he was tending to multiple other services at his location. Customer service here was the worst ever and it appears that UHAUL customers are his last priority. I wish there was a NO STARS option they don't even deserve the one star I had to select.giselle D.

The convenient shop owner was rude from the beginning. He started by saying there is no reservation made and I showed proof of booking but still refused to listen. After a long wait he went on computer and printed an agreement form to sign. The vehicle was not clean at all and the fuel was little less than full as opposed to the paper given. They also tried to charge me for 2 days saying that I was 3 minutes late.KEVIN N.
They double charged me on my credit card stating that I returned it the next day and didn't log in to advise that we had to log in to return it. I cannot afford two charges, and no one is doing a thing about it. It cost me almost $400 for seven hours. I am owed. This was terrible and I'll never use uhaul again.Krys V.

We carried back the truck clean and undamaged. I put gas in after the trip but I forgot to check the gas level before I left the gas station. It did not reach the original level and the owner said the system said I did not put in any gas even after I showed him the gas receipt. I offered to put in more gas and went outside to go for the truck but the prospect of taking too long to the station I changed my mind and went in back to pay him the $77 he charged for gas. He then said he was going to charge me for 2 days since by this time it was after the return time for the truck. I protested and he reversed that decision. I paid the money for the gas under duress and he said he emailed me the bill. When I came home and check my email he had added tax to the $77. I ended paying $87 more for what another $20 gas could have covered. He completely disregarded my gas receipt. He is a money gouger.Norma T.

The place is not just for renting truck therefore there is no dedcated staff and also when it comes to billing they just refer you to company/central. I have to wait for long time to be served and also i still dont know why i have been charged $20.00 more.MAHMOUD R.

The guy at the counter was beyond rude and f##king lazy!!!! He refused to close my account unless I walked outside in the storm, behind the building, in the dark (keep in mind, I am a woman and dropped it off for a friend) to retrieve the mileage, Then he REFUSED to wear his mask!!!!!!! I will never recommend this drop off to anyone. In fact, I have a business web site, on all social media for personal and business and I will be advertising the sh##ty service and poor attitude of the man at the counter!!!!! I'd sooner drive 2 hours out of my way (if I had to) to drop off another truck at a UHaul!!!!!DAVID K.

Dealer was late opening location both for pick up and drop off, said truck not there when it was. Booked 9am pick up, took 2 hours to actually get the truck and leave. Extremely unhelpful dealer. Charged me extra for equipment I didn't use. Gave me 15 ft truck instead of 10 ft that I needed, so gas was much much more for bigger truck. Supposed to open at 10 am and my pickup was scheduled for 10 am. Didn't open store until 10:30. I was on a tight schedule so this caused me to be late for all my events.darby B.
First of all he submitted a 30 surcharge that he wouldn't explain. He made me go to the truck twice to take pictures and was only half an hour late and charged me for another day. So for 2 days, and very little mileage it costs 175 dollars!! I will NEVER go to that location again. And I will tell everyone that will listen that he is a crook!NANCYLEE M.

Customer service there is non existence. Came in at 10am and the store didn't open until 30mins later. The guy working there is extremely rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever. Also rental equipment was not provided. I went back to the shop to pick up and they said they didn't have it. Asked why would I pay for something if the shop doesn't provide them and he basically told me he doesn't know and can't help and shoved me away and to take it with uhaul. Customer service over the phone told me to take it up with the location. I don't think I would ever rent through them again and may consider other options.Bismark A.

The truck shakes if you went over 80klm Also I got charged extra mileage for taking the truck back an hour away from my home when their was a drop off location 5 mins from my home I asked him to look for closer locations and he didn't as he was to busy dealing with other customers in the store.
