While I was pleased with this specific location my overall experience was awful. I initially reserved 3 separate pieces of equipment. Days before my out of state move I got a call saying that 1 piece of equipment would require a 4 hour round trip on my end. I asked to reserve a bigger truck as a replacement. The representative was less than helpful and pretty rude. Then my reserved price for my 3rd piece of equipment was not honored. I had to make additional, costly arrangements at the last minute. Then the window to my uhaul truck exploded as I was driving down the interstate. I am so displeased with uhaul. My experience was a constant juggling act and was very stressful. I will go out of my way to avoid using Uhaul for any future moves.Jessica C.

I booked the vehicle for 7:30 am. The store didn't open until 8 am. I had to wait until 8 to get the keys. This put me behind on my pickups. There was also a 7 am booking option. This would have meant an hour wait.SCOTT G.

Attendant had to call police because of a disruptive customer, while trying help me with my rental. My daughter and I had to talk to police and give description of malicious customer. The attendant had too much going on to help us well and had trouble finding keys for locked truck....I got charged $20 more than I should have and it was a difficult transaction!Lisa V.

The gas station attendant was great, except he was the only person there, which meant he could not help us attach the trailer, which I was a little worried about doing it myself to the 20' UHaul. But it all worked out fine. He may need help in the future for UHaul customers.Kim C.

Vehicle check in issues with uhaul.com Your app couldn't get a gps location from Chrome browser on my Samsung Galaxy Note8. It DID work with the phone's built in browser. Took me some time troubleshooting to figure that out. Write more code, support chrome on android please!Christopher W.

I reached out about the unsafe conditions that I rented this vehicle under. There were 2 men sleeping in the vehicle upon pickup, and the vehicle was filthy. I submitted a complaint but never heard back, and on top of that was charged more than double my quote today. I need to speak with someone about how horrid my experience was, and I need a refund.Courtney H.

We were disappointed in U-Haul because after confirming our reservation 4 days in-advance, we were then contacted via text less than 24 hours before we were scheduled to pick up the truck informing us that there was â€œtrouble completing the reservation.â€ After waiting on hold and being transferred from one person to the next so that someone could figure out why I was calling the number the text told me to call, I was given no other option but to accept a smaller truck at a location 25 minutes away from where we were moving from. I don't understand the purpose of making a reservation if not for assurance that it will be fulfilled as stated in the numerous email confirmations I received between making the reservation and being called to tell me it was no longer valid. On top of this unprofessional inconvenience, I was called in the middle of the afternoon on the day we had the truck (while busy moving, as you can imagine) so that someone could discuss our drop-off location. I expected this representative to tell me there had been some change with that as well, but instead they were just confirming the location we already had in written, text, and verbal form. I did not think that call was necessary at all and it felt excessive. Perhaps the people making those phone calls could be utilized to drive the trucks to the locations where people have reserved pick-up? Then when we went to drop our truck off, the website was unable to detect our location regardless of our repeated attempts and after confirming location was set to ON on both of our phones. I am still waiting to hear back about whether or not we were charged the â€œconvenience feeâ€ for having someone else check it in the next morning since our automated version was ineffective. Next time I might just rent from Enterprise. They can be more expensive, but at least they are straightforward and reliable.Fred R.

The truck that I rented was not properly checked in from the last visit. I drove 26 miles and had to fill the truck with 5.3 gallons of fuel. That would mean that the truck got less than a 1/4 of a mile per gallon of fuel.Not very likely. When I disputed the discrepancy it fell on deaf ears. My advice going forward is to properly check the truck before leaving.Scott E.

The issue I have is not with this location, it is with Uhaul. I had to get truck a day early to guarantee that I would have the truck for the movers to load. And it was a good thing, as I had to drive 40 min to get the truck and an additional 40 min to get back to the house. You DEFINITELY need more trucks at this location. So I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone.Cheryl D.

First off all I was scheduled to pickup at 9am the store was closed at where the truck was picked up until 10:30 and I had to wait until the guy got there. The guy was an idiot. Then I had a flat on the trailer. Went down the road a little ways and the truck had a blowout which I had to wait for 90 minutes for repair and it was not in a good place on the turnpike. I then was charged for an extra day on bringing everything back when I was 5 hours late bring the truck back. I was told that they would put in my contract to reimburse me some money for all the problems I had on my move but that didn't happen. I will use Penske from now on and tell everyone that I know to use them since Uhaul didn't make it right.Carla D.

Attendant was pretty rude. Didn't answer the phone when I called to confirm my reservation. Had to call 4 times before the call was answered. Once the call was answered, he only said he saw my reservation and my equipment was onsite and hung up. No contract/receipt was given to me because of a â€œsystem glitchâ€. Got a call from U-Haul when I was well on my way saying the trailer I picked up will not meet my towing requirements and I was to swap it out, then later a 2nd call from U-Haul saying there is no issue, which is when I was advised of said system glitch. U-Haul has gone way down hill, but unfortunately they have no other competition. It's best these days to expect U-Haul to mess up and cost you hours, if not days, of getting things right for you.Jason V.

I originally had a reservation at the Wadsworth location to pick up at 9am. I got there and they didn't have the trailer. I asked them then why did it let me book it if its not at this location and the response i got was well I don't know what to tell you. Then I went to another location and they were nice and tried helping me to the best of their ability. Then I got a call from uhaul and was told that this location (kipling) had a trailer and I could go pick it up. I got there and the clerk was very rude! I told him I was told he had a trailer for me and gave him my name. Then he said that he doesn't have a trailer for me to get. So I called uhaul again and was told the closest trailer was in Aroura after driving all over Arvada. After over an hour of trying to get a trailer and going on a wild goose chase they finally got me in at this location and I was able to get the trailer. After all of this it set me back 3 hours from getting my things loaded up and on the road. Was not pleased at all!!Kayla S.

First, I was told this would be a "contactless" pick up. I arrived to find that I had several steps to go though before I was allowed to pick up the truck. Some things I have already provided, like my DL. Then, an alternate contact, which I had to find someone that was ready to answer a call from U-Haul. After all of that, while standing outside in a shady neighborhood, I was then directed INSIDE to puck up the keys. Also, Driver's door needs major adjustment. 1/2 - 3/4" gap, wind noise and UNSAFE!Dan D.
The attendant was awesome and did everything he could to be helpful. The truck was filthy. some type of sticky liquid was all over the cab and on the middle seat. The check engine light was on, the wiper blades were severely damaged and the driver side mirror would fold in at highway speeds. There was only one furniture pad so I ended up buying my own.
