We have a email where we rented the 15ft for 3 days and email shows return date July 1st at 4:30pm, but my app shows return by 10:30 am all bc someone from U-Haul called my husband Monday and said he needed to do a return and re rent it to us but we don’t have to change anything, but it did change things bc now we both have to be late to work in the morning to return it by 10:30 am when that is not the original agreement I signed with U-Haul. It got messed up after a rep from U-Haul called and said he needed to do a return and recharge. Really bad for business on U-Hauls end especially that my husband and I both have to be late to work in the morning to return it at a time that we didn’t even rent it at. It was rented at 4:30pm and the return was at 4:30pm. Someone dropped the ball on your end and I hope this isn’t done to all your customers. That’s bad customer service and bad for business on your end. Will probably not use U-Haul ever again. However I did do a chat with Dallas bc I was very confused and he was great and confused himself on why it was done the way it was. I sent Dallas every charge and return that was done on my card by U-Haul on Monday. Again Dallas was great but U-Haul itself needs to do business correctly and not be dishonest with customers considering I have emails from everything after renting 2 trucks in one day from your company for 3 days and it says return on 7-1 at 4:30pm but I was told if not back by 10:30 we will be charged another fee. Yes bad business on your part. Your company may want to look into what actually happened with the guy that called us on Monday and asked my husband if he could do a refund and re rent it to us with no changes.

Location staff was not on-site for rental pickup. Had to wait more than 30 minutes to complete pickup. U-Haul Corp promised a $50.00 rental guarantee for late pickup. The site manager shows up very unprofessionally & says.. “You need something?!” Then tries to place a hold amount for greater than the online booking amount was! Fast forward to 7 days later when trying to return the trailer.. Still no one onsite. No direction, no communication . Rental location listed as Legacy Garage. It’s a bogus location. No “garage” no business front & looks as if it’s being operated out of an old motel/efficiency apartment unit; operating as a business!

I don’t think it’s to much to ask to simply have the truck filled with gas prior to your customers renting them. My rental was sitting on just about empty and I actually had to put gas in it before I could even start driving it and another issue I had in the rental process was my reservation I made prior to picking up my truck. I was called several times after my reservation that they didn’t have the rental in the location that your app stated you had it in and therefore I had to go to different locations continuously just to be told it wasn’t there and they that I needed to make sure I picked it up elsewhere. This is honestly ridiculous. The app should specify more where the trucks actually are or at least have someone update your systems so your not sending your customers on egg hunts.

Keys were not in lock box just sitting in truck when I got there. Truck is just older and you can tell not inspected between customers.

The app that was used to check out the truck was not functioning well and the location was not helpful. I needed to call the main customer service line for help. The inside of the truck had some trash in it that I cleaned myself so I would not be charged since there was no way of showing it was not me. The truck was also 20 miles until empty so I had to fill up before I could go anywhere.

I ordered my truck close to where i lived but sent to a place that was 49 miles away so i was charged for miles that i wasn’t planning on having to drive and thats not fair. Never again will i recommend Uhaul to anyone. Robbery!!!!!

We were disappointed when our pick up/drop off location was changed. We picked a location close to us to keep down the mileage. We were always going to have about 45 miles, but the new location was an extra 7 miles out of our way each way. For a daily rental where miles are money this is upsetting. We were offered a discount for the miles, so that was nice, but we lost about 40 minutes of our rental time to driving back and forth to the new location. People choose pick up locations for a reason, convenience, my last two rentals have had the location changed and pushed farther away.
