The orange drop box box was difficult to locate as it was not close to the parking space that I returned the van to. I would suggest moving the drop box closer to the key pickup in the parking lot. Or have a sign as where the box is located.

The whole experience was not genuine. The price I was quoted was wrong. The explanation was”I don’t know”. I tried to use the app but it was a waste of time, and I hate wasting time. The checkout was horrible. The virtual checkout dropped me on the last step and I had to call in and waste more time. Then I was contacted at work 4 times stating I didn’t return the key, which I did. I tried to call the local site 4 time and left messages about the keys.

My pickup moved from Shorewood to Minooka (6 miles further) and was told on the phone when my Uhaul Representative called me that I would receive and increase in total miles alloted. When I returned my truck today I was 2 miles over the original limit I had (38). I get it’s only 2 dollars. But if the spot moves that I have to drive to pick up the vehicle I shouldn’t be charged extra when I go slightly over on mileage. Otherwise the truck was great.

Overall great experience; however, U-Haul's 24/7 check-in/out process is cumbersome. We love Leons location. Monday through Friday is very user-friendly but on the weekends, it is a complex process! I am providing this feedback but to have U-Haul available locally, and on weekends, I will put up with it.

Uhaul made it so hard to get the keys, I was standing out in the freezing cold for 30 minutes. Then uhaul made it hard to return the keys. Was on the phone with uhaul for hours trying to figure out what to do in both situations. Not only would I not recommend uhaul to people, I will actively tell people to stay away from uhaul whenever I get the chance. I had the worst experience with uhaul. I’m hoping I never have to use them ever again

It was a great experience however I am a mechanic and I did go the extra mile to check the engine oil when I filled up the gas before return. The oil needs to be changed.

The app did not email us the key code to pick up the truck. As it was a Saturday morning, not only the office was closed, but also all U-Haul customer service numbers would ring until they let us know there is no voicemail box. I finally got through by clicking on roadside assistance, which should be used only for emergencies. The person on the phone was patient and helpful (thank God), but what is the point in having a customer service phone number that no one picks up and has no voicemail?

Once we figured out how to use the self pickup, with zero help from the company and I still haven’t heard from them, it was ok. I rented 2 items that weren’t even there and I haven’t heard about a refund yet. Overall, I’m not very happy with this experience. I might try it again sometime but hopefully I won’t need to

I waited 4 and a half hours for this truck. The location blamed it on Uhaul, stating this happens quite a bit. I do not ever want to rent from Uhaul again.

When I came in to reserve the U-Haul the person clearly had never booked a rental before. It took about 30 minutes to get one truck booked. I went to pick it up and it took about another 30 minutes to get to the point where I was handed the key. This location also INSISTED I use the app to return the U-Haul. Before I left with the truck I made an account on the app and the rental was not set up to my account. No matter what I did it would not link up. On the day I went to return it, I spent about 20 minutes fighting with the app again trying to bring up my order. I eventually just used the return link through the email. Took 4 minutes to return it.

Look at the uhauls before you rent them out. The passenger windshield wiper did not work and it was hard to see. It was raining the whole day. Thanks!

All was very easy! The truck was not really that clean, I put yes because there was nothing left in it, but the cup holder area was not really that clean. Drop off was super easy too!!

The truck I got has a bad muffler. I was a little nervous to drive it. Also online check in may not be for people who aren’t tech saavy . So maybe a Weeknd phone remote plan for employees to check in customers from home .

Yes everything was explained well Dora a sweetie. But I felt rushed had to leave apt clean. Then rushing to bring the uhaul truck back by 9pm then coming from Chicago then I was hungry!!!!! But we we did it!!!!!!!! But Il do it again

I had a deadline to pick up furniture 90 minutes away. This location was 20 min from my house. I got there and tried to use the app to pick up the u-haul. The app and the website both said my GPS said I was not at the correct location even though I was standing literally at the door with the address on it. I tried on 2 other phones with the same results. I then call the 1 800 number in sat on hold for 37 minutes and talk to a woman for 15 minutes was unable to help me. Because of this, to people that were supposed to help me were not able to and I was forced to move white leather furniture through yard in the dark with a 15 year old girl and my stepson. I am a nurse and am working on average 60 plus hours a week This was my one day off. This hour to have delay caused me a very much headache and next time I will just pay someone to Use their trailer and save the headache.

App for drop-off is difficult for first time use. It essentially told you to turn in key before giving actual instructions. I was not able to get gas picture because of this

The online check in/check out process was a nightmare. My reservation could not be found and I had to call to pick up the truck and drop off the truck so my account could be reset. Each phone call took about 30-40 minutes. Also the drop box was confusing to use. The interior lights in the truck would not stay on despite following the directions and attempting several times, they would go off after 10 seconds each time. It was not fun to unload in the dark. This was not the fault of the location but the truck share 24/7

Check in process is hard to figure out and takes some time. Not sure why you check in online ahead of time then go through a longer process when you get there to actually get the truck. Dropping it off it says to put the key in the drop box but where is that?? Luckily I was able to put it back in the box I got it from

I reserved a 15ft. Enclosed truck, when I can to pick up the truck the 15 ft. Truck was not available, it had been rented the day before. What good does it do to reserve a truck.
