I had issues picking up my reserved vehicle that may not have been the fault of Luna Tire Services. U-Haul updated my reservation to pick up a one-way van at this location and the van was checked out by another customer when I arrived. The employee who was working at this location was helpful and luckily I was able to get a different vehicle that met my needs, but I did not appreciate the delay and uncertainty. Also, U-Haul's mobile self-check-in process was incredibly inefficient.

I was notified one day before picking up my vehicle that I was going to have to drive 90+ miles to go pick it up. It was over a 3 hour round trip out of the city and complete inconvenience during the moving process. I would have appreciated transparency atleast one week advance so I could plan accordingly.

Another 5 Star customer service experience. I was a little late to drop the truck off and get to the airport and the gentleman who helped me was super kind and helpful. I would rent from U-Haul again any day the price was reasonable, truck was great, easiest experience ever renting a truck. Thanks very much!

I have a separate review for the lady that helped secure this reservation for me. Her name was Darcy Krauss. I believe out of the UVA location when I called 1800. She was amazing, kind and friendly. Honestly probably the best customer service reversenative that I have ever worked with. Not only did she fix a very bad situation and a bad U-Haul review that I planned to leave. that I was having due to other U-Haul employees being lazy but she was just altogether a joy to talk too. She saved you guys from getting a bad review and a letter to corporate,.

THe truck was not ready at the location I chose more than two weeks ahead of time. It was not available at the time of day I chose in the reservation 2 weeks ahead of time and the truck was on empty when we finally were allowed to pick it up. This was not Luna Tire Services issue. This is an overall UHaul issue

The lot is somewhat difficult to pull into. It's not set up for mobile pick up or drop off. It's not super clear when you pull in what process to follow for pick up or drop off. When compared to San Rafael location there are glaring differences in the quality of the locations.

Pick up of the truck was delayed by 1 hour. I had to wait on site where there is no waiting area. If the weather was hotter could be a problem. Also, there was used clothing items from previous renters behind the driver's seat. The associate working the turn around of the truck once received from previous renters did an excellent job cleaning the truck, but was also rushed by the fact that I was there waiting to get the truck and they were past there closing time. I think in COVID related environment a bit more time to clean the trucks would be necessary to allow the cabin to air out and fully disinfect prior to next customer's pick up.

I wish that I had gotten the name of the young man. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to juggle multiple customers in a competent and inoffensive way that made us all feel valued. He answered all of my questions and found every promotion that he could to keep my costs reasonable.

This was a terrible experience for 2 reasons: 1- I was given a return time of 3 pm, however, when I returned early, at 2 pm, the business was closed and there was no after-hours drop off location. The only reason I was able to return the vehicle, at all, was that someone else happened to be dropping off a vehicle and the back gate was open. My return was further complicated by the fact that the business has no (zero) signage indicating a drop off location for the key. 2 - I tried to use the self-drop off service, got all the way to the step of verifying the location with a photo, only to have the app completely restart at the beginning of the process. By that time, I was unable to start again because the gate had been locked and I no longer had access to the vehicle.

Nothing to improve! Roy was great and very accommodating. He put my anxiousness at ease, and made my moms day by being so sweet. Ended up getting service done for my own car as well! Will definitely come back!

Was wronglyfully charged on insurance. When I placed a reservations online I declined insurance this location charged me for insurance at 14 per quote upon pickup and then charged me double upon return of truck. There system was down so I never signed paperwork. Not only was i deceived once but twice. Can someone please contact me.

I have used this location many times and I intend to use it again. The van they gave me was clean and the process of renting it was easy. They were pretty slammed when I arrived so I didn't get much of a chance to look things over (the location is rather small, when they pull out the vehicle it blocks a fair amount of their driveway). Sometimes it can be difficult pulling in/out of the location. The pads I got were very dirty- so much so that I had to clean dirt and debris off of the furniture they were placed under. My understanding is they get the pads already bagged so it's not necessarily the location's fault. I would just recommend people check them before they get on their way.

Location wasn't notified that the appointment was set. Uhaul also scheduled the appointment when the business hours was closed. Uhaul also charged me incorrectly once changing the appointment. When I didn't agree to the charges no one called me and they still charged my account. Very displeased with Uhaul services but Luna location was great.

The location was actually small and a little dumpy, but the attendant was super nice and helpful, which made it good overall.

I don't fault the individuals at this location for willful wrongdoing, but I was very displeased in the return process, suggesting negligence on their part. They were not transparent about providing a receipt during business hours, when I arrived. I dropped the truck off in the afternoon on the same day of pick up. It took them over 8 days to check in the truck and close my transaction. I had to call uhaul several times to make sure the transaction is closed to avert possible charges. Caused undue stress in a move during the school year. I appreciate uhaul customer service for making sure the transaction was closed appropriately. For future moves, I will select alternative locations for pick up and drop off.

Tell this location to have someone on staff to properly help customers. They made an attempt to charge me for an extra day oh, and I have to contact customer service, instead of anyone at that location helping me to resolve the issue. Also, someone on their staff, or the next renter stole my handicap placard. When I contacted the location, no one would help me!

I chose location due to proximity to where we live but I will come back here for the neighborly feel of dealing with Roy Luna. He has been very respectful and patient with me even when I first didn't know how to use the U-haul app. The store is quite busy but Roy didn't make me rush. I also like that I am supporting a local business.

The rental pick-up process took up basically an hour because the person at the desk didn't receive my driver's license photos even though I sent them 4 times all with successful prompts saying they were submitted. Not sure if this was a technical issue but nonetheless it wasted an unnecessary amount of time. Person at the desk was also rather unhelpful and didn't seem to try to fix what he could on his end and stated there was nothing he could do and that without the photos I couldn't take the truck. This was eventually resolved when I simply just called another Uhaul to check for available trucks on that very day and explained the situation, they themselves over the phone were able to just verify my identity and approved the application shortly after. I'm not sure how the pickup location that expected me and had all my information on the computer couldn't approve my application for a about 40-50 minutes yet someone over the phone was able to do it within 5 minutes. The truck itself also seemed to have a defective AC as it wouldn't blow cold air even though it was on and made noise, I had to turn it off and on a few times for it to work eventually. It's a shame this was my first Uhaul experience as after this I doubt I'll be considering it next time.

The location at which where I picked up the trailer was fine. However, my overall experience with U-Haul was beyond TERRIBLE. I now consider U-Haul to be the most incompetent company I've ever had to work with. And considering my journey was from California to Illinois, I very much needed U-Haul to be better equipped.

Your app is terrible! After selecting from my desired pick up, the app automatically changed the location to a place 20 miles away! Same for return. Your phone customer service team was awesome though and very responsive. Have some hard stops on your app like making a van unavailable for 1 way trips. Have a close inventory count from your locations. If I'm choosing from one location, I would like to know if that location has it available - not after I gave you my cc info and reserved the vehicle.
