Have had problems pickin up, dropping off or both....2 out of the 3 evening's I picked up a uhaul. I completed the return by phone last night, left the location and found that it didn't actually return it. Tonight, I tried to return it and it wouldn't let me get past a list of what to do to return it and then it cleared the screen and the entire transaction disappeared. We were in a hurry to get to another location ti pick up another uhaul so I didn't take the time to call customer service. We tried to extend our usage of the uhaul at anot 7:20pm but it wouldn't let me. It said someone was picking it up at 8:30pm. We were going to be a little past 8pm so called the store so they could let the next customer know we were coming. They told me no one else was getting it tonight. The next reservation was fired 10:30am tomorrow. Which is why we were hurrying to the next location to pick another one up. Once at the next location, I began the process of picking up the uhaul but it cleared me out again after saying it couldn't read my ID. The entire reservation disappeared so I assumed because I was late getting there, someone else reserved. I couldn't find the reservation anywhere sp I reserved another uhaul. When trying to do pickup fire the new reservation, it now showed both trucks so I had to cancel one. Convenient to be able to pickup and drop off without waiting in line, however, there's definitely been issues the past couple of nights. The first night, everything was pretty much smooth.Leslie M.

I know it's on the contract in small print but I used the key drop to avoid contact with others and there was a $20.00 charge for that. Seems like during a pandemic this should not be an extra charge.GLEN W.
No. The person I dealt with the day before did not document the correct mileage and therefore I was charged for additional miles when I shouldn't have been and I'm fighting to get these charges reversed.William B.

Kindly notify customers when there are issues with their retail returns. For example,my account was blocked because of a late retail return in May 2020 without my knowledge ( Not true I returned that truck within 5 hours,it is the customer service representative who did not input it into the system in time). So I spent extra 15 minutes to call the helpline before the issue was resolved.Desire D.
Location does not help with car towing equipment. I get that due to liability issues they are limited but just to be handed instructions and told to read without any guidance was frustrating. The least someone could have done was walk me through it as I did it myself. Thank God for YouTube, but paying this location $1200 to receive that kind of attitude was very off putting.Breanna F.

During the pretrip inspection, the employee told me all lights were working on the trailer. Before I pulled out, I inspected for myself. The brake lights, and the right turn signal weren't working. I attempted to go inside to ask for what to do before I left the facility, but the employee had went to lunch. With a time restriction, I had to hit the road. I'm glad I didn't get any tickets over my 500 mile trip, but it would've been nice to get the trailer fixed before I departed.Alexander M.

Make sure the equipment works properly and is in order. I had to replace the wiring harness 3 times during my 11 hour trip because the lights on the trailer kept going out. Constantly stopping to make this repair added another 5 hours on to my drive time!!! Not only did it cost me money to buy the 3 different wire harnesses, it cost me 5 hours worth of extra fuel. This was an absolute nightmare of an experience and I expect a full refund on my trailer rentalAlex T.

The employee was not very helpful or considerate when bringing the truck back early. Advised me there would be additional charges, and only contacted the main office after insistence on my part. She said there was a "glitch" in the system which gave me the extra charge. Although this "glitch" charge was reversed, she also advised there would be no early return reimbursement, contrary to what was conveyed to me upon my initial rental. For my next move, I will not be using UHaul.Michael P.

This was not a smooth process for whatever reason my ID would not move but the woman who helped check me in was extremely helpful. Upon returning the vehicle, the woman checking out was a little rude when I asked her about my paperwork and she â€œdid not have timeâ€ to look at the vehicle to check me out and I would just have to wait for the final receipt. I literally got the receipt like 5 mins later. She could have just said it would take a couple mins and I would have waited. Just bad customer service. Granted it's a grocery store so she probably did have other stuff to do. Overall if this spot is close to where you need to go and if you don't mind waiting around use it. But if you are in a rush I would not recommend or plan to wait.Jessica C.

I wanted to drop it at the Liberty missouri site. I called the uhaul phone number and the woman was hateful. I was suppose to have the truck/trailor until 5/16. She said there was someone already scheduled to use it on 5/15. How can she sent it out if I still needed it.Claire G.

Make sure the trucks have the appropriate equipment on the truck that was reserved ahead of time. I had to go to a total of THREE different locations to track down an appliance dolly that I had reserved along with the truck. The second location I called ahead before I went to pick it up & when I got there the doors were locked & no one was there. I called another location that called around & finally found one.Megan O.
The person actually taking care of the rental paperwork needs to ask questions and not assume anything. They also need to learn the meaning of customer service and not argue about everything especially when the customer has a copy of the reservation in print.Stephanie D.
