Haley at the 7-11 store managing the uhaul service was excellent!!! She was kind and efficient and double checked info I was asking about to make sure it all went perfectly. I am handicapped and she helped me get in and out of the tall truck, helped me get the truck pulled up to the easiest place for me to get in and them drive out, helped me with pumping the right amount of gasâ€¦ just all around a great help in just the ways I needed it. And, I was impressed with how well she helped multiple customers while I was filling out things for my rental on my phone etc. She also had an obviously experienced u haul person on the phone to assist her with questions as they came up. So, all around a very good experience. I think Home Depot had same price for pickup rental, but free mileage, however our experience with Haley was so outstanding that we will always go to this store for our rental needsâ€”and also has when we are driving our own cars in that area. The app/online account does not specify that you need to go into the AM/PM once your mobile verification is complete. And there is no sign at the gate telling you this either. I wasted 45 minutes sitting at the gate until I spoke to a rep to clarify the next step.Benjamin C.

My reservation was for a location in natomas. The pickup location was changed to another location, but I did not notice, nor was aware of that change until I went to the original location. I was preparing to move, afterall, and so an email that had the change listed in small font a few "scrolls" down from the top was absolutely not enough information to make alternative plans. I now had to drive 20 minutes outside of my way, when I had selected that location for its convenience to where I was moving to/from. When i got to the new location, I learned it was a "remote pickup" and needed to do something on an app. When I called customer service, I was told to "press a key to have someone call you back" which then alerted it would be 2 hours for a return call. I cried in the parking lot (no U-haul staff nearby to help as it was a remote pickup location). Because all my planning and moving helpers were now waiting on me and this truck. I called customer service again, and this time was told that the "system was down" which was why I couldn't log into the app, and that I should go inside the gas station. The gas station employee (not an employee of U-haul) helped me by calling someone over the phone to confirm my reservation, and was the most helpful person of the entire day. It was a less than ideal day, and handled with little acknlowledgment of the inconvenience it caused me. Also, I had ordered a dolly and furniture blankets, none of which were ready (although the gas station person was able to take them off the charge), but I reserved them because I needed them.Julienne O.

When scheduling for the pick up, I selected counter check in specifically to speak with an associate who knew what they were doing so that this would go smoothly. When I got there, no one knew what they were doing. They had to call their manager who then asked us to complete the check in online (which is what I opted against). The check in process then took about 30 minutes. When we got the truck, it had scratch marks, and dents in the sides along with less than half a tank of gas. They asked me to return the truck with a full tank of gas. I tried to upload photos of the truck so that I can show the damage the truck had before we got it and conveniently, the website would not let me continue once uploading the photos. It was a disaster from start to finish. If they know they are having someone pick up a uhaul that selected counter check in, someone who knows something about uhaul should be there to assist!! Never again will I use this location.JOHN M.

Email of this location needs to be updated to see Am/PM Arco clerks for access to the uhaul trucks. No signs anywhere that to see the Arco cashiers. Also this truck does not have any AC and wiper blades are torn apart, made it hard to see through the windshield. Thanks.Timofey P.
