I requested a dolly / hand truck and there was none in the truck! And of course uhaul ended up charging me for the rental of a dolly that I didn't even get.. if you need a hand truck for your move, you'll have to go buy one.Alex B.

Not user friendly for us older folks especially for sign up and pick upEarl M.
We rented a 26 foot truck and ordered two dozen blankets. We had problems with the login and code for the contactless pick up. There was only one truck there that was 26 feet that had any blankets in it, and there were only 10 blankets in the front seat the other trucks had none. The truck had damage that was not marked and my husband had to add that on check in, and we took photos when he picked up the truck and dropped it off. The truck was filthy in the back and on the interior and needed swept out and cleaned badly. My husband said the truck was clean and excepted it as is because he had been there for over an hour trying to get the app issues resolved. We swept out the back of the truck before we returned it and we vacuumed the interior of the truck. I also found a phone number for the location where the truck was located at a Real estate company. I had to call them and have them bring out 24 blankets because the truck U-Haul ended up giving us was not the one with the 10 blankets in the front. This was not the greatest experience.Richard A.
The dolly that I had reserved was not available at this location (appliance dolly) and I was not made aware of this until I discovered it during the pick up process. I was not pleased with this as we were moving cross country and had appliances that had to go up and down stairs.James B.
This was not the original location I picked U-Haul switched me to this location which added an hour to my trip. This location only Carried the trucks. So if you need furniture pads or Dollie's they do not have them. I needed furniture pads and some of my furniture got scratched because they did not have them.Phyllis B.

Truck was stuck in mud managed to finally get truck out of mud to use noticed in reported damage to the truck and the interior muddyAustin S.
We were there 15 minutes early and ended up been 9:15 getting done because no one would answer the phone. We finally got the key and we were starting to back out and the truck had been sitting in mud and it was stuck in it. We had to call and get someone to come help to pull us out. We were on a time Schedule. We were 35 minutes late. We were finally done and we took the truck back at about 9:00. The truck was on empty when we got it.Deborah A.
We were advised to download the U-Haul app in order to return the truck, although personnel were in the office. My wife wanted to ask questions pertaining to the return as well as drivability issues, again we were advised that they don't deal with returns only renting them out. Unfortunately, your reputation is perceived from your vendors. If they can't give assistance in a return, they shouldn't be able to take money in the beginning. This unfortunately has changed our opinion of what U-Haul is now as what they were. We even contacted customer service pertaining to the check in and drivability. Nothing was offered, just sorry and thanks for using U-Haul.JAMES S.

And pick my employer the check-in process was terrible. Took way too long put me behind schedule at least an hour. 2checkout was ridiculous also the app was not working so I had to pay an extra $20 dollars to have the place do it. Need a more efficient way with no app failures, not happy with this last experience.Jeff Q.

It took far to long to do the online checkin onsite even though I had already completed all I could ahead of time and paid when I booked. The heavy duty hand trucks with straps I ordered and blankets were not in the truck. I was given blankets after I asked. The smaller hand trucks I was given with no strap were useless. Specifically why I ordered and was charged for the others. Honestly I should have received a refund for the rental charge for the hand trucks.Geoffrey G.
I would strongly advise steering clear of this uhual location. The truck was in awful condition and smelled funny. It also made a God awful noise any time the wheel was being turned. And to top it off, uhual charged me an extra 50 bucks just bc they felt like it. They claim that I was 3 gallons of gas short upon return and are justifying charging me an extra 50 for this reason. Awful trucks with even worse service. Stay clear of uhual if at all possible.Brandon Y.
We ordered from another location, but there was no location. You should tell this online, so customers don't drive to a place where no more uhaul is. That was the last time for us renting at uhaul. We lost a lot of time and nerves. More than a bad experiance and we will tell all of our friends not to rent from uhaul.Thomas R.

The check in was difficult to do and the site owner did not want to assist. We had to call UHaul for assistance, and they ended up adjusting our pick up time by 30 minutes because we had issues getting the keys to the truck.Annette G.

Staff was not friendly. Lady chargered me $12 because she said the gas wasn't where it was when we left. It had a half a tank when we left and it had half a tank when we came back. When we got it, she said we was suppose to make sure the gas tank was around the same and it was! The gas meter barely moved.rhonda N.
Had truck for 1 week. Went to return on time and was told I had to take to another location 15 miles away because they were full. Told me uhaul traffic was supposed to call and tell me. Then returned truck to other location and they told me I had to take it to original location. Finally let me return it at 2nd location then took 1 1/2 hrs to process my payment. Tire was flat, and I was basically told to take it or leave it in so many words. I took it, as I needed it and wound up not being able to use it. When trying to contact the rental location for hours on end I got no answer. I contacted uhaul corporate and was left on hold for almost 2 hours before being transferred to road side assistance, even after telling them I didn't want roadside assistance at almost 9pm because I had no use for it. The woman from roadside assistance was clearly aggravated and responded to my frustrations with her own by letting out loud, unprofessional sighs any time I tried to explain to her that I did not want roadside and did not want to be left on hold for another 2 hours. So I might as well have thrown the money I spent in the trash.MELANIE V.

One of the tires on the trailer I rented was flat. Periodic tire checks on equipment could have saved having to inflate it before rental. This was a walk in situation, not a reservation.BRANDON B.

We likely won't use UHaul again as you didn't have the reservation for the truck at the Central, SC location as we requested. We had to drive to Piedmont to pick up the truck and delayed our moving by 1.5 hours.Rachelle B.

Vehicles should be checked before renting. The wiper blades were worn out and streaked the window without clearing it. Had to stop at a service station to clean the windshield both inside and outside (inside was smeared and greasy). Lucky it didn't rain or I would had to call for service.Brenda B.

The office was having computer trouble and we had to go through the check in process twice...I understand this happens, but...My husband had to go out and take a trailer off the truck. There was no one to help...still ok...however, when we drove off in the tuck we didn't get a mile when the gas light came on. It was not a good start to our moving day.TAMMY C.
