1. The car carrier was stored in a location used as an outdoor toilet and was surrounded by human excrement, including on the trailer. 2. The truck was not cleaned or sanitized as advertised on your site. A used face mask was hanging from the turn signal stalk. 3. There was no signage for the U-Haul location and staff was late, so I almost left (turns out the U-Haul concession is run out of the church which goes by a different name than the concession and when you call the location, you get an answering machine). 4. U-Haul staff did not know the equipment, hooked up the safety chains incorrectly, and could not fix the trailer lights that were not working, requiring me to call and wait for roadside assistance, delaying my departure for 6 hours from when I was originally scheduled. 5. The truck was delivered with 3/4s of a tank of fuel and not recorded as such. I called U-Haul an had the fuel level recorded but was still charged for the missing fuel at drop-off. Due to my delayed start, I had to alter my route so I could stay with family overnight. I asked for and received 200 additional miles for the rerouting from the scheduling team but they failed to note that in my record and I was charged for 130+ extra miles at my return.Robert J.
